Just a suggestion, when I want to ignore or delay the main story, it feels natural to deliver the news from Helgen to the Jarl, and while he’s talking to his advisers you can leave his dialogue range as he directs them to their duties. This way the jarl won’t send you to grab the dragonstone.
Don't know that it fits this character as such. But what I usually do in a build where I don't want to deal with dragons is go through Bleak Falls Barrow for the experience but leave the Dragonstone on the final draugr. Roleplaying that my character "overlooked" it. If I later change my mind, the story logic in my head is that another quest "reminded" them of the Dragonstone and made them wonder how they didn't find it before. So they go back to find out.
Been looking to find a way to avoid it. Thank you. Glad o came across this video and your comment. Wanting a different experience. Would like a break from dragons and kill kill kill. She is my dream character and ready to leave that dragonstone be.

Y’know, if you’re willing to join the Companions, the Sapphire Smuggler could use the Underforge to escape from guards and leave Whiterun. Not many people realize that it has an escape tunnel that drops you outside the walls.
Good point! And speaking of factions, joining the College would give the Smuggler access to Enthir and the Atronach Forge. For the latter, I like the idea of her using different forms of crafting, and as noted on UESP, the Atronach Forge can be used to launder stolen gems and soul gems. Sapphires (fitting her title) can be used to create Frost Salts, which in turn could be used for, say, a Frost Atronach scroll, or some useful alchemical effects.
The Art Thief and The Oblivion Sentinel are the only two builds I’ve “completed” and I’m loving the references to the library of characters that continues to grow
I don't really play other people's builds. However, I do use Skypothesis characters as inspiration. Tweak a few things to make the build feel like my own. For example, I recently completed my own version of Skypothesis Reaver Build, but she's female, her destruction magic is fire only, she DOES use conjuration, and her roleplay is more dedicated to the worship of Boethiah, dual wielding an ebony sword and the Blade of Sacrifice.
I really love how being the dragonborn takes a backseat, I don't tend to start the main quest in most of my playthroughs anyways so this is just perfect
I'm using the Thief Stone for leveling, and am using Elsweyr Fondue to summon the bow. It encourages me to use the bow more sparingly and I roleplay the fondue as a lunar sacrament (it does contain moon sugar). Also you can craft eidar cheese wheels from salt and milk (which you can get from your goat/cow). Ale's everywhere. Then you just always need to keep am eye out for moon sugar, which fits the roleplay.
As always, I loved the backstory and aesthetic! I like that it's heavy on roleplay, such as prioritizing stealth over combat. I like that it doesn't pursue the main quest immediately but instead focuses on taking your time through the Thieves Guild questline. I especially liked the creative hiding places you showed for each city. A very different but intriguing build!
I was JUST talking to my partner while we were falling asleep to your videos about how I wanted another Khajiit sneak build- this also made me think of my favorite quest, the Stones of Barenziah, and I think it works PERFECTLY with this build!
Another beautifully presented build. The escape routes is another typically creative way of giving your characters a unique flavour, and I really like that sort of thing. A bit like the Witchkiller's Bestiary. Although I prefer melee builds, and I'm unlikely to play her, I still do like the Sapphire Smuggler very much.
I can’t wait to start playing this, I’ve always wanted to try a skooma runner/dealer character but I never could quite figure out some of the role playing aspects.
This is what I have been looking for! Loading up and starting new character. Thanks! I don't feel I've explored enough. More checking off quests, and staying on that straight line. I feel going this way I'll explore more and slow it down. Edited to add that I've been playing all day and loving this character, this type of play style. Thank you!
Those hiding places were kinda mindblowing. I didn't know you could get up there in Windhelm, especially, and I didn't know about that spot in Solitude. It's really cool when you guys focus on things like that in the vanilla game, another example being mounted archery for the Savage Reaper. The approach with the Smuggler is nice, giving more attention to alternate routes, in multiple forms. She's someone who would want to open as many doors as possible so she always has a way out. The build is also a way to be more like an everyday person and keep some distance from that eventual demigod status. I wish I'd known about the Scuffle combo when I had a Numbers job for the Drunken Hunstman (and wanted to stay undetected). 🙂To that end, I think Shadowcloak of Nocturnal could be a good addition to it.
Alright! You've convinced me! I normally only focus on creating builds that take inspiration from your vids, but now I will fully commit to building the Saphire Smuggler! Thanks, guys! 😉
07:20 I remember that's how I played my last playthrough. I got that lucrative Goldenhills Plantation, grew ingredients on its fields, made potions, and enjoyed traveling all around Skyrim by horse and on Survival Mode. It was such a refreshing playthrough, and a very lucrative one at that: Arriving at the city. Selling my wares at first apocrapharies and general merchants only until the Merchant perk was unlocked. Having enough coin to buy their ingredients and crafting items. Then staying at the inn for a hot meal and a warm bed. May do some easy town quests while we're at it. And then it was time to head out to the next town or city. When it came to fighting, I had enough coin to buy scrolls, staves, the soul gems to recharge them, and a companion. Now that is just the build for me. I love the not quicksaving method as indeed the possible conseqences is what makes this build so interesting. I'd suggest taking over each city with the Thieves Guild before seriously training your pickpocketing skills, as influence is what I think the core of this build.
I love this idea and there are so many mods that can make this even better but can also work but itself in vanilla and isn't dependent on anything but your imagination and roleplay as the character. well done guys!!
A good place to hide is in the creation club house called shadowfoot sanctum because it just screams burglar plus there a secret exit to use when you need to leave the city but I like it as just a place to hide all the gold and skooma because you know I'm a cat burglar lol
If you play on anniversary edition you can use the boots of blinding speed reaally good in this build, since it fits to the theme of running away from fights and makes it a lot easier (btw the nighteye ability gives you your vision back while wearing the boots, so if you have to get away somewhere quick thats a nice combo) and of course the mask of the gray fox is useful as well since it gives you pretty much everything you need if you need it.
This might be my favorite build of y'all's! I just started playing it yesterday and it's already a breath of fresh air to set the combat aside and focus on stealth and alchemy. Thank you guys for yet another incredible build!
The thought of the Sapphire Smuggler using the Masque of Clavicus Vile during her Blue Meth, I mean, Sapphire Skooma selling as not only a way to increase her bargaining skills but also remain anonymous is actually so cool. Walter's pseudonym was Heisenberg, so would that make the Sapphire Smuggler's pseudonym Schrödinger? haha

I'm definitely going to take this build and put my own spin on it, I did the Ashabah and used the Dwarven plate armor and Her Hand gauntlets and boots with the Aetherial Crown for a headpiece, her weapons are Dawnbreaker for fighting undead and Goldbrand for everything else and she wields fire magic and sun magic, she is a blast to play with, she's at level 30 right now but is already super OP!
Really cool ! Not really my type but it's nice to have different build like this and i can't say no to more khajit and alchemy builds. I also have an idea for an additional special move for her: Vitriolage Poison of Paralysis + Poisoner When you absolutely need to pickpocket an item (for instance a quest item) you can use this move to get a safe way to do it. Imagine throwing acid at the face of your poor victim and stole their possessions while their laying on the ground. Paralyzed by the pain. For roleplay it's important to use it when you're alone with you're victime and leave as fast as possible when you're finish. "A little tweak of chemistry" like the man would said
the aesthetic on this is killer she really feels like a character who could exist in the world as an npc, i love characters who wear clothes instead of armor or mage robes especially making use of the alik'r hood! I also love the thief who doesnt abuse illusion spells to just cheese the stealth system in skyrim, one of my absolute favourite playstyles. great job guys!
You can use goldenhill plantation as a home suggestion as well the house is mostly used for survival mode but for roleplay purposes you can pretend the farm is a sideshow operation that act as a cover up from your smuggling operation since skooma is illegal the home is a creation club mod just so you know
I love your content man! Please more vanilla after season 6. Also a simple idea for a build: A vampire warrior mage. Vanilla. Race: Breton. Magic Specialties: Destruction, and Conjuration. Warrior specialties: One-Handed and light Armor. Thief Specialties: 40 Sneak, and Speech:
I really would like to see a one handed shield-less fencer build. I tried it a few times, playstyle is fun, especially with the shout that increases swing speed
Oh hey, I've done one like that. It was a redguard warrior that used one-handed, sneak, smithing, archery and blocking. He was completely armor-less, so you had to be really good with timings and positioning to play him. Sneaking isn't really something he'd do in a fair fight if he's spotted, but with magical beings like Hargraven or vampires it's important that he opens the fight with the first blood, for which I was doing a silent roll into charge move, having a sneaky power attack. Generally in a fight, he'd parry or dodge using Reaction Time. Shield Charge would also be specced into, because it works with weapons too if you press block while sprinting into an enemy, making it look like you shoved them. He uses Dwarven bow to complete his aesthetics, but is not that good of an archer. Sword combat is his main forte, however that works as an opener too. It wouldn't be affected by Sneak much because we're not going for an arrow spec, only the first backstab one
@@Akatsukimember6 Another tip: you can completely avoid speccing for Silent Roll if you jump and hold W + Alt. That way you'll force the silent roll without having a spec. You won't be able to sneak around faster like that, but at least your sneaking sword charge will work
I honestly don’t even think about other Skyrim TH-camrs now. Like if I wanna make a new play through it’s just, ok which skypothesis build should I choose.
only recently found your channel, big fan of the RP ideas you have made here, i have a few potions i use from time to time that you might be able to use yourselves, Rare Curios CC would be required for 2 potions Magebane: Spell Absorption/Fortify Destruction - Comberry + Deadra Venin Dragon Buster: Fortify Fire/Fortify Frost - Dragons Tongue + Thistle or Purple Mountain Flower + Snowberries Magic Factory: Spell Absorption/Fortify Magicka/Restore Magicka/Fortify Magicka Regen - Comberry + Lichor + Jazbay Grapes
Solid build. I did a pure thief playthrough once, it was very fun. She is a Breton who doesn't use magic, master in sneak, pickpocket, lockpicking, speech, and alchemy. I tried to be a pacifist, avoid combat as best as I can and have the lowest kill possible (some quests force you to kill). She never kills her mark, not even the henchmen. She holds dagger on her right hand, nothing on her left, this dagger is used for applying poison (mostly paralysis or fear) rather than for killing. She wears guildmaster armour, variety of jewelries (boosts sneak, lockpick, pickpocket, speech depending on the situation), and she wields mehrunes razor (I chose this because the aesthetic matches the guildmaster armour set). She mostly brew potion of invisibility, poison of fear, and poison of paralysis, which are used to escape or infiltrate.
For my recent Khajiit Thief playthrough I roleplayed him as a member of the Renrijra Krin, so in addition to being a thief, he intended to use his financial gains to sabotage the empire, and he joined the stormcloaks to get the job done since the Renrijra Krin are very Anti-Empire. Alchemy, Pickpocket, Sneak, Archery and Enchanting. He will either reverse pickpocket paralysis poisons on his targets so he can rob them blind without killing them, and if violence is necessary, his trusty crossbow or his claws which are boosted by the gloves of the pugilist will get the job done. Instead of selling skooma, he enchants the stolen rings and necklaces he finds so that way he can sell them for more money.
Another great original build, but this time you didn't put any advice if you want to play it beyond level 40. How to advise you the evolution of this character beyond
I know you guys don't do modded characters, but "Become a Skooma Dealer" is perfect for this build, with Inigo as a follower. I love your RP and backstories and have played several of your builds. Would you consider doing a modded build sometime for the PC players??
How is it no matter what build you release I'm always satisfied even if the build is something I wouldn't play the story and love you give them just rocks
Ahh yes. The Skyrim equivalent of Catwoman (literally), mixed with a little bit of Moon Knight and the Camonna Tong. I'm down! Got so many ideas already.
Right please someone tell me where the dungeon with the dunmer outfit is cuz I don't remember where it is I've tried looking it up but I can barely say it let alone type it
I am possibly too obsessed with khajiit. On a game not even related to The Elder Scrolls, Wizard101, I put on some cat face paint and cat ears and set up a treasure card shop in the commons. "Khajiit has high quality treasure cards, if you have empowers" AND I even managed to rip off 3 people. 😹
Is the whole Sapphire thing in Skooma a reference to the Blue Meth in Breaking Bad. Cause you know, Sapphire's are Blue. In Breaking Bad, the Meth is Blue, etc.
Hello Sky! I watch your videos for 1 year, and your builds is very immersive and interesting. But if you don't have any idea for video, I want to offer to you my: Southern Northerner (I made this build inspired by ancient Ukrainian warriors - Cossaks, but if we making lore friendly character, I named him - Southern Northerner) Backstory: Southern Northerner was borned in Hammerfell (he's nord btw) and lived there for 5 years, he's father was married to a redguard woman, but notwithstanding this, he wanted to come back in Skyrim, he was a great warrior and well acquainted with new Companions harbinger - Kodlak Whitemane. Southern Northerner was a sociable boy, therefore, he became recognizable to the Sentinel guards, so he could go to their training yard and there they began to teach him military affairs. Three years later, when the boy turned 8 years old, father noticed that the Southern Northerner spends a lot of time training, he was delighted, but the mother was worried. She was a peacefull woman, so she feared that her son will become a bandit or something worst. His parents quarreled, and father was going to take the son with him and went to Skyrim. Southern Northerner don't want to part with mother, so he pulled the sword out of its scabbard to protect himself and his mom. But father was definetly more stronger and expirienced than boy, so he knocked him out with no need to take a weapon. The boy woke up in hold of the ship that carrying him to the Skyrim. They already sailed to Dawnstar. When Southern Northerner came outside he wasn't ready for this cold weather and he almost turned into an icicle, he was told about the Skyrim frosts, but he did not think that he would feel them on himself. After they received the migration papers, they had a long journey on foot to Solitude. The boy was not as hardy as his father and therefore tired already halfway through, but he was not going to whine about it and walked in silence. When they got to Solitude, they had to take a wagon to Karthwasten. Upon arrival, they were very sleepy, so they rented two rooms in a local tavern and fell asleep soundly. The father woke the boy, Forsworns attacked Karthwasten. The guard could not hold back the onslaught, and was quickly defeated. Father and son decided to recapture the village, which they did, because there were not so many Forsworns. The heroes immediately became famous in the village, and it was decided to build a house especially for them, but for now they could live in a tavern for free. Years passed, the Southern Northerner was forty years old, he buried his father and decided to return to Hammerfell, he knew that his mother was also long dead. But to his surprise, she was still alive and lived in that same house in Sentinel, they were very happy with each other, the Southern Northerner lived with his mother for another thirteen years, during these years he managed to see his old comrades, make new friends and bury the last dear him a man - mom. He decided to return back to Skyrim and continue to live there, he did not want to return, but he did not want to remember the death of his parents, and most of all the death of his mother. He was too lazy to fiddle with documents and papers, so he thought about how to avoid this. Then he decided to cross the border illegaly. He bought a horse and went to his destination. When he passed through "Black Ford", he saw soldiers in incomprehensible armor, but did not pay much attention to them, when suddenly he felt a heavy blow to the head and woke up in a wagon... How to roleplay: You can pass main quest line, Companions quests. And you must use only 1 sword without shield. NO MAGIC, ONLY SHOUTS!!! Like the Redoran Swordmaster, he doesnt need to tank a lot of damage, more dodging. He fight with no mercy but with honour. Equipment: Southern Northerner wears: Dark Brotherhood gloves; Fur armor (skirt like); Leather boots. As a weapon he uses: Unenchanted scimitar That's equipment make aesthetics of cossaks of the ancient Zaporozhye (Paste it in Russian Speech synthesizer if you don't know how to read it properly - Запорожье) Stats//Perk spread: 0:2:2 One - handed: Armsman(5/5); Fighting Stance; Savage Strike; Critical Charge. (No Paralyzing Strike, don't forget about honour) Block: Shouts: Slow time; Dragon aspect; Ice form. Special moves: {Execution Dance} Slow time + Scimitar {Limbo Force} Fast reflexes + bash or WASD (dodging) {Nightmare Chop} Battle Cry + Savage Strike {Frostfull inaction} Ice form, then fighting with other not paralyzed enemies (like Redoran Swordmaster) {Tungstenflesh} Dragon aspect + Earth Stone That's it! Don't forget to make cossack character preset 😉
I can't believe you madmen made a Breaking Bad character.

When you absolutely need to pickpocket an item (for instance a quest item) you can use this move to get a safe way to do it. Imagine throwing acid at the face of your poor victim and stole their possessions while their laying on the ground. Paralyzed by the pain.
For roleplay it's important to use it when you're alone with you're victime and leave as fast as possible when you're finish.
"A little tweak of chemistry" like the man would said
Love the special move!!
By far this is the funnest build I ever played!!! THANKS SKYPOSITHIES FOR ANOTHER AMAZING BUILD
You were right! I do like this build!!! So cool!
“Lokir, we need to cook.” The Sapphire Smuggler I think.
I love these builds, super excited to see this one 🙏🏻
the aesthetic on this is killer she really feels like a character who could exist in the world as an npc, i love characters who wear clothes instead of armor or mage robes especially making use of the alik'r hood! I also love the thief who doesnt abuse illusion spells to just cheese the stealth system in skyrim, one of my absolute favourite playstyles. great job guys!
Thank you for making my day just a bit better
I didn't expect to see Heisenberg as inspiration hahahaha
Great build, another fun thing would be to add the Grey Cowl of Nocturnal
You guys do a amazing job with these skyrim builds
Siuuuuuu , new skyphotesis content
@@Camel75749 Thanks! Sounds fun to play, especially the thing with the shield charge. Gonna give it a try soon
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.
only recently found your channel, big fan of the RP ideas you have made here, i have a few potions i use from time to time that you might be able to use yourselves, Rare Curios CC would be required for 2 potions
Magebane: Spell Absorption/Fortify Destruction - Comberry + Deadra Venin
Dragon Buster: Fortify Fire/Fortify Frost - Dragons Tongue + Thistle or Purple Mountain Flower + Snowberries
Magic Factory: Spell Absorption/Fortify Magicka/Restore Magicka/Fortify Magicka Regen - Comberry + Lichor + Jazbay Grapes
YES!!! Thank you for doing this, Skypothesis, I was looking for a Thief Build
Class idea again boys, keep it up
The hideouts section of this build is such a genius idea.
Thanks for keeping things fresh in Skyrim I love your builds 🙂
Amazing build! Love your dedication guys. Btw do you ship those merchs to Brazil?
Thanks man! Yep, pretty sure Spring ships just about anywhere :)
Gotta try this out love it!
She’s the one who knocks
Thanks for the new build was looking for a reason to play as a kajiti again
Amazing work guys!!
So Sapphire Skooma Is Moon Sugar + Frost Salt?
Okay so weird request for a build, but would it be possible to do something like a bartender/Tavern build that specializes in poisons?
That’s a suuuper fun idea 👀
Jesse, it's basic alchemy! Now help me make the skooma for Belethor!
Guess what I'm doing when I get home to my steam deck 😎
Another great original build, but this time you didn't put any advice if you want to play it beyond level 40.
How to advise you the evolution of this character beyond
This definitely looks like a fun idea. The only difference I might do is instead of the bound bow I'd use the base destruction spells u start with. 😅
Want to ask do you use leveling stone ever or just go straight to the stone you recommend in the video?
I know you guys don't do modded characters, but "Become a Skooma Dealer" is perfect for this build, with Inigo as a follower. I love your RP and backstories and have played several of your builds. Would you consider doing a modded build sometime for the PC players??
Not bad, I've never really done a pure thief before
very nice build as always :D
How is it no matter what build you release I'm always satisfied even if the build is something I wouldn't play the story and love you give them just rocks
Epic as always
Fur gloves go pretty good with this outfit too, unless you have mods then use the hand bandages
HOHOHOHHOHON WHAT A WONDERFUL BUILD YOU LOONS ARE ABSOLUTELY INCEDABLE
EVEN BETTER WITH MODS!!!!!! HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHON
Thank you
Idk if it’s a good idea but I’d love to see you guys do a Targaryen Inspired build with the Dunmer or something.
Don’t forget the plantation in the anniversary edition!
Muffle and invisibility spells will let you walk through most dungeons with ease.
Ahh yes. The Skyrim equivalent of Catwoman (literally), mixed with a little bit of Moon Knight and the Camonna Tong.
I'm down! Got so many ideas already.
Then she's going to have to join the Dawnguard in order to fight Batman
Right please someone tell me where the dungeon with the dunmer outfit is cuz I don't remember where it is I've tried looking it up but I can barely say it let alone type it
Wait...am I an idiot? How does he cast bound bow who cost 183 magicka with only 150 magicka?
Ayo just before I get to doing homework lol
Heisenkitty haha
Already roleplay cooking skooma whenever I use Moon Sugar. It's just new flavors that tend to... Well not exactly work as intended.
The sapphire smuggler is my nickname during no nut November
I am possibly too obsessed with khajiit. On a game not even related to The Elder Scrolls, Wizard101, I put on some cat face paint and cat ears and set up a treasure card shop in the commons. "Khajiit has high quality treasure cards, if you have empowers" AND I even managed to rip off 3 people. 😹
Hey sky bros! Would love a Jason Todd red hood build! Thanks for your beautiful content
yooo no way they doin' a waltuh white build
Waltuh
Is the whole Sapphire thing in Skooma a reference to the Blue Meth in Breaking Bad.
Cause you know, Sapphire's are Blue. In Breaking Bad, the Meth is Blue, etc.
And.... Who is the equip and the enchanting? XD
Hello Sky! I watch your videos for 1 year, and your builds is very immersive and interesting.
But if you don't have any idea for video, I want to offer to you my:
Southern Northerner
(I made this build inspired by ancient Ukrainian warriors - Cossaks, but if we making lore friendly character, I named him - Southern Northerner)
Backstory:
Southern Northerner was borned in Hammerfell (he's nord btw) and lived there for 5 years, he's father was married to a redguard woman, but notwithstanding this, he wanted to come back in Skyrim, he was a great warrior and well acquainted with new Companions harbinger - Kodlak Whitemane.
How to roleplay:
You can pass main quest line, Companions quests. And you must use only 1 sword without shield. NO MAGIC, ONLY SHOUTS!!! Like the Redoran Swordmaster, he doesnt need to tank a lot of damage, more dodging. He fight with no mercy but with honour.
Equipment:
Southern Northerner wears:
Dark Brotherhood gloves;
Fur armor (skirt like);
Leather boots.
As a weapon he uses:
Unenchanted scimitar
That's equipment make aesthetics of cossaks of the ancient Zaporozhye (Paste it in Russian Speech synthesizer if you don't know how to read it properly - Запорожье)
Stats//Perk spread:
0:2:2
One - handed:
Armsman(5/5);
Fighting Stance;
Savage Strike;
Critical Charge.
(No Paralyzing Strike, don't forget about honour)
Block:
Shouts:
Slow time;
Dragon aspect;
Ice form.
Special moves:
{Execution Dance}
Slow time + Scimitar
{Limbo Force}
Fast reflexes + bash or WASD (dodging)
{Nightmare Chop}
Battle Cry + Savage Strike
{Frostfull inaction}
Ice form, then fighting with other not paralyzed enemies (like Redoran Swordmaster)
{Tungstenflesh}
Dragon aspect + Earth Stone
That's it!
Don't forget to make cossack character preset 😉
