That's one helluva pitch correction she was fighting against, it could have been a mixture of her drinking + not being able to adjust to the correction. One thing is for sure, all the stars aligned that day to attempt to ruin our eardrums lol

She might not have the range required to sing the national anthem. Apparently it is just around her limits, so if it was in the wrong key she's probably not be able to sing it even when sober. I'm not a big country person, but I don't really associate country with hard to sing songs... range wise I mean ;)
Its what happens when you are not selected for your qualification, but for other reason I am sure she sounds amazing with autotune or ai. I figure autotune for concert! A perfect example of the decline in music quality! I don't think she was drunk like she claims without autotune or AI she can't carry a tune a bucket!
