But in this movie the masked man they were referring to was Menma himself. Also the only reason Naruto got half kurama is because Minato stored the other half on himself before dying. None of that happened in this movie. Kurama never attacked the village that night.
Yeah, I really enjoyed that filler dream arc because it was a revisit into the movie universe. But honestly, I like the Tsunade filler Dream arc even more. Cuz it is also another What If, but more realistic one.
Nah he doesn't have it because the only way Minato had Kurama in the first place was by using the soul reaping jutsu which seals and then takes the casters life, but in the alternate world Minato is still alive becuase he wasnt the 4th Hokage and wasnt the 'Hero of the Village' so he was just normal becuase he never sealed kurama instead Sakuras Dad is the Hero of the village and the 4th Hokage.

The funny thing is this the second time where introduced to a evil naruto since the first time where introduced a clone of naruto using some of orochiumu DNA in the power arc. This clone had the version 2 state with four tails and was able to dominate base post five kage summit naruto tank hits six gate lee and guy with little to no damage. Later in the arc after getting a huge boost in power kakashi felt like their was little he could do against and it took incomplete km1 naruto to beat this thing. The main difference between Menma and this clone besides menma being stronger was menma had the mind and drive of a evil naruto while kabouto clone ninetails naruto was more of the animalistic drive for power that naruto sought when he was younger. How big would you say the Shinobi world is compared to Earth? I searched some debate websites and a couple say it is estimated to be four times larger then Earth. I have been wondering if that is true or not.
A lot of calcs that I've seen before have also put it 4x Bigger than Earth which based off the calcs us super consistent, however even if you didn't and just use regular earth you could just say that's a low end.
Menma should have won the fight against Naruto, i mean his Dai Rasenringu is way stronger than the Rasen Shuriken, Naruto should've been obliterated but that wasn't the case just because he's the protagonist, Menma was simply stronger and yet he lost.
Here’s my idea of how Menma could fit into the world. What if minato and Kushina had identical twins. Then half of the nine tails would go to naruto and the other to menma. And the two end up getting separated with naruto living with and growing up with jiraiya and menma living in the leaf village in the same conditions as naruto in the original timeline. This would pave the way for menma to be evil and naruto still be good. And naruto having a brother that he didn’t know about sounds like a great plot point to me.
Ya'll misunderstand what they mean by naruto surpassed the 4th. Kishimoto means in ability not battle power. The 4th never was able to complete the rasengun but naruto did. He surpassed the 4th in potential
Fr same thing with Sakura, tsunade developed the techniques and mastered it so it took her longer. Sakura finally learned it at a younger age thus surpassing her in a sense
I did not say battle power in the video, I said in terms of technique potency. It would not be inconsistent for the Rasenshuriken to "stronger" than any technique in Minato's arsenal especially since Minato was aiming for it. It doesn't mean naruto surpassed minato, but developed a technique that Minato himself was trying to create.
I think the source of Menma's powers comes from the combination jugo's bloodline - Ability to gather senjutsu & everything else is also stolen bloodline like orochimaru's collection. As an uzumaki & Nine tails jinchuriki he has the body that can heal through anything.
Consider he at Naruto nine tail mode. I would say, he solid at hasirama/madara level of power, and that pretty powerful. now at this time, there no concept of nine tail being only half of itself yet, and also not yet the concept that nine tail alone can take on multiple tail beast. so it debatable. but with that island lvl destruction, it a higher lvl than pain, bc pain jutsu require him to over drawn his life span to make it that powerful.
So, this is gonna sound weird, but I kinda wish Menma's abilities were attributed to the physical half of Kurama. Like, once it was revealed that Kyuubi was split into two halves, my instant thought was if Naruto got the spiritual half, maybe in Menma's world, he got the physical half since they're opposites. That's why he was able to create the 9 summoning beasts, and a as opposed to using the Kyuubi Chakro Mode, he was just full Kyuubi. Like, imagine if Menma/the physical half of Kyuubi was more like (spoilers for Boruto) Himawari's transformation in Boruto true blue vortex. @@ThunderGodTG For starters the rouge to ninja movie was actually published as a 1 shot in republication of volume 61 of the Naruto manga and it was even published in the fourth data book, the one shot was even adapted to the anime as well and the story was directly created by kishimoto as shown in the credits of the film. And if you say the film is non canon you will have to argue that the data books are non canon which is false.

Naruto says he's gonna go Kyuubi Mode in the movie to Kurama which he obtains at the Waterfall of Truth then to the War. This movie doesn't fit into the timeline at all. By the way this may sound controversial but I think madara is kinda overrated. I think Kcm2 sage mode naruto can beat madara especially if he has sasuke help with his sussano armor. They beat Kaguya because she has all of zero actual fighting experience/skills. Ten-Tails Madara is still somewhat relative-ish to Kaguya, but is also a war veteran who knows how to properly apply his newfound borderline god powers in a proper battle.

The Akatsuki not fighting Menma isn’t a feat. It’s an anti feat. Basically the Akatsuki were confident they could no diff Menma’s beast, but knew fighting Menma’s 9Ts form wasn’t worth the pay.

I’m late to this, but Menma holds the chakra of only the 9 tailed beasts. Naruto holds the chakra of the people he had relationships to in the shinobi world. Holding on to all of the tailed beasts chakra is pretty insane, but not as op as holding on to large amount of chakra via bonding like Naruto have. Menma closed himself off to the world. Naruto haven’t. And it is also thanks to Kurama in a since that he had also absorbed some chakra along the way. Kurama is nature chakra so adding his nature energy to Naruto’s Senjutsu, meant that Menma was dealt “A WORLD OF PAIN!” (Get it? Because Naruto’s world is massive compared to how he started? And all of his bonds and experiences turned into a weapon on Menma?) But Kurama also plays a massive role in Boruto using the same chakra system that he had made to absorb chakra pre-chakra tug of war with Naruto, but instead he gives chakra knowing that Konoha is willing to give to Naruto with the trust that Naruto gained with Konoha and the other tailed beasts. Well, eight out of the 9, because Shuukaku didn’t share any to Naruto nor did he plan to. But Shuukaku does trust the Uzumaki family enough to gain their help and protection from intruders of the village that would use him as a weapon or absorb him into 10 Tails. I think with Kurama giving portions of his chakra away, there is a chance that Kurama can be revived, but he won’t be given a lot because he needs to stay hidden. This all may not have anything to do with Boruto Story or the Naruto Movies, but I think the bonds that Naruto have, he has a lot cut out for him because he has people to trust. That’s how Naruto really got this far, because he still have people in the shinobi world to bond with.

How big would you say the Shinobi world is compared to Earth? I searched some debate websites and a couple say it is estimated to be four times larger then Earth. I have been wondering if that is true or not.
A lot of calcs that I've seen before have also put it 4x Bigger than Earth which based off the calcs us super consistent, however even if you didn't and just use regular earth you could just say that's a low end.

Here’s my idea of how Menma could fit into the world. What if minato and Kushina had identical twins. Then half of the nine tails would go to naruto and the other to menma. And the two end up getting separated with naruto living with and growing up with jiraiya and menma living in the leaf village in the same conditions as naruto in the original timeline. This would pave the way for menma to be evil and naruto still be good. And naruto having a brother that he didn’t know about sounds like a great plot point to me.

Fr same thing with Sakura, tsunade developed the techniques and mastered it so it took her longer. Sakura finally learned it at a younger age thus surpassing her in a sense
I did not say battle power in the video, I said in terms of technique potency. It would not be inconsistent for the Rasenshuriken to "stronger" than any technique in Minato's arsenal especially since Minato was aiming for it. It doesn't mean naruto surpassed minato, but developed a technique that Minato himself was trying to create.
I think the source of Menma's powers comes from the combination jugo's bloodline - Ability to gather senjutsu

So, this is gonna sound weird, but I kinda wish Menma's abilities were attributed to the physical half of Kurama. Like, once it was revealed that Kyuubi was split into two halves, my instant thought was if Naruto got the spiritual half, maybe in Menma's world, he got the physical half since they're opposites. That's why he was able to create the 9 summoning beasts, and a as opposed to using the Kyuubi Chakro Mode, he was just full Kyuubi. Like, imagine if Menma/the physical half of Kyuubi was more like (spoilers for Boruto)

And if you say the film is non canon you will have to argue that the data books are non canon which is false.

By the way this may sound controversial but I think madara is kinda overrated. Don't get me wrong I love madara as a villain and everything but people treat him as if he's completely unbeatable for shippuden characters.
I think Kcm2 sage mode naruto can beat madara especially if he has sasuke help with his sussano armor. Their scaling to ten tails obito who hashrima stated was stronger than him so their going to beat him down based off of scaling.
Moving onto ten tails madara. Unlike most people i believe if madara didn't get stab in the back naruto and sasuke would still find a way to win. Three eye madara being stronger then them isn't that big of a deal when naruto and sasuke fought kaguya who's even stronger than him. Naruto and sasuke have been fighting people stronger than them for most their lives anyway.
Then we get to madara immortality it's not perfect immortality as people think. It's basically just regeneration and if naruto and sasuke combine Kurama sixpath mode with Sasuke now perfect sussano and then make a Powerful tailed beast bomb I see that as gg for madara being less than dust.
I don't even need to mention asura mode naruto and indra sussano sasuke which would also go to town on three eye madara.

They beat Kaguya because she has all of zero actual fighting experience/skills. Ten-Tails Madara is still somewhat relative-ish to Kaguya, but is also a war veteran who knows how to properly apply his newfound borderline god powers in a proper battle.

I’m late to this, but Menma holds the chakra of only the 9 tailed beasts.
Naruto holds the chakra of the people he had relationships to in the shinobi world.
Holding on to all of the tailed beasts chakra is pretty insane, but not as op as holding on to large amount of chakra via bonding like Naruto have.
Menma closed himself off to the world. Naruto haven’t.
And it is also thanks to Kurama in a since that he had also absorbed some chakra along the way.
Kurama is nature chakra so adding his nature energy to Naruto’s Senjutsu, meant that Menma was dealt “A WORLD OF PAIN!” (Get it? Because Naruto’s world is massive compared to how he started? And all of his bonds and experiences turned into a weapon on Menma?)
But Kurama also plays a massive role in Boruto using the same chakra system that he had made to absorb chakra pre-chakra tug of war with Naruto, but instead he gives chakra knowing that Konoha is willing to give to Naruto with the trust that Naruto gained with Konoha and the other tailed beasts.
Well, eight out of the 9, because Shuukaku didn’t share any to Naruto nor did he plan to. But Shuukaku does trust the Uzumaki family enough to gain their help and protection from intruders of the village that would use him as a weapon or absorb him into 10 Tails.
I think with Kurama giving portions of his chakra away, there is a chance that Kurama can be revived, but he won’t be given a lot because he needs to stay hidden.
This all may not have anything to do with Boruto Story or the Naruto Movies, but I think the bonds that Naruto have, he has a lot cut out for him because he has people to trust. That’s how Naruto really got this far, because he still have people in the shinobi world to bond with.
