@@JC-fk8kcThe strain of Kaioken to Sportacus would likely be similar to the "strain" of Goku's weighted training cuffs and anklets- Might be a bit of a hassle for him at first, but he'd adapt so quickly that as soon as he turns it off, he's surpassed the initial downside of having it on.
Of course he would, could you imagine? You consider yourself a living God, and you're getting dogged on by a man who says that he's only _"slightly above average"?_ How is this happening?!
I hate that we live in a timeline where that is a thing you said unironically and I - despite having zero context - fully understand how this played out.
The fact that the apple survived being instantly accelerated to 20%C means the apple has ridiculous durability, which speaks volumes for Sportacus' jaw strength in being able to chew them.
Not gonna lie I never watched Lazy Town but this is so absurd in the best way possible. I almost want to call this Baki for kids because Sportacus is low key Yujiro Hanma but as a good guy/superhero
Bruh seeing the AP and durability scaling Sportacus has him vs yujiro might honestly be a good debate he be slower but the he might be able to stack apple amps
Another funny thing is that because Lazytown is a kids show, Sportacus has never shown to know "contact sports" like Martial Arts. Then again, has Homelander ever shown to know how to fight? Edit: As it turns out, Sportacus does know some martial artists, like that kick one of the folks here in the comment mentioned or that time he used a rapier. The actor also knowing martial arts aside, yeah... Homelander is gonna get skill checked if he tries to fight him. Thanks for letting me know you guys.
The guy that plays Sporticus is legitimately really fit and strong, he does all of his own stunts and he does know some basic martial arts, but he mainly uses acrobatics. He has a really strict diet and daily workout routine. It's honestly really cool the more you learn about him. But I forgot his name, lol.
Bro, I watched Lazy Town during its reruns. Sportacus beats him and then shoves an apple where Homelander's lasers won't fire and forces him to do star jumps and push ups.
The way I see it, it’s not like the apple gives him a massive buff, I feel like it’s more of a placebo. Sportacus sometimes needs extra motivation in the form of an apple to achieve any physical task (and I mean ANY). Like if he wanted to, he could shatter the Earth in a single blow if given the proper apple motivation. That’s why it’s so variable, it depends on what he wants to do.
I would believe this. Kirby can cause a crack on PopStar that is big enough to be seen from space but is usually not motivated enough to exert the force needed to do so.
Sportacus gives the baby an apple per day (to keep the doctor away). Once the baby fully recovers, he leaves with a smile. That baby was known later in life as *Yujiro Hanma.*
Homelander is literally the anti superman.... where you would put people against superman to show how strong they are... people keep throwing random people against homelander to show how weak he is.
@@alexbaribeaultHe might be able to go toe to toe with the weakest superman variant tbh. It's hard to even make some of the cartoon versions city block level last I heard, as the cartoon just ain't focused on scaling at all. But it might have also been downplayed. I never watched them

@@youraveragerobloxkid that said Robbie could 100% make something to take out Homelander. He's built a working time machine, a machine to make inanimate objects come to life, a device capable to reverting age, a cloning device. The apple amp is psychological, it not needing to have a consistant amount eaten or needing digestion, there's never any real danger, problems, yes, but he never has to go all out he's just being helpful to a small town for fun. when faced with an actual murderer Sporticus would take out the stops, no fun flips or eating an apple, he'd just break Homelander's arms and legs.
There is actually something else which you have to consider if the fight gets close and goes into the later rounds. When Boxers are in a tight spot and/or are losing their strength they often go back to the basics and rely on what they learned in their training to make a comeback. If the fight gets close sportacus will have an advantage. Homelander never trains - He never learned how it is to make a comeback when your strength is leaving you. Sportacus trains hard af everyday so this is ANOTHER advantage for Sportacus.
Also consider the fact that Homelander's strength was given to him, while Sportacus' inhumane, god-like, physics-breaking, reality-bending strength was earned, through grit and discipline, no Saitama "100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 10km a day" bullshit. Should push come to shove, Homelander's spirit breaks easily -- Sportacus would probably see the heat death of the universe and say shit like "Nothing like a set of burpees to fix this"
7:04 one fact you didn’t mention is that the Apple survived this, so it would have to incredibly durable, and he eats these. On a daily basis. Without the Apple amp.
Homelander is the character arc of being power scaling fodder He started out being compared to Superman and Omni Man and other famous heroes from versus battles. Then he dropped a few tiers and began getting compared to people who barley had screen time like Metro Man. Now he’s hitting the human level tiers
@@ClintStone-t9m Definitely the strongest Superman expy, Metro Man is so fast that it's practically time stop. Megamind's lucky that his movie takes place in a family comedy setting and Metro Man was holding back to keep their rivalry alive, or it would've been GGs a long time ago.

I find funny that if the apple amp is considered to be able to give sportacus enough strenght to do whatever task at hand would that mean that he could beat anyone? Or has the apple failed sportacus before?
Technically, yes, if you count the diabetes-level sugar infused apple he was given in that one episode. But that was because of the sugar, not the apple itself.
I'd say it's more about "can he eat the apple fast enough", because someone of his caliber would most likely carry at least one apple with him at all times.
We should factor in Homelander's daddy issues. Seeing such a wholesome and positive male role model would probably mess with Homelander's mind in ways we can only guess at.
I swear, it doesn’t matter who people on Twitter put Homelander up against, Homelander always ends up as the widely accepted loser yet, people still try and find someone he can face off against. With that being said, Sportacus absolutely solos.
I genuinely think it's an incredible bit of writing that Homelander is *just* strong enough to be the big fish in his pond but when compared to nearly *anything else* he's just lacking. Like, it's not even most of the time us *stretching* for a person to win vs Homelander - they just actually do. On top of him being so hateable, he's also *just* threatening enough to be a problem only to people in his own series xD
@@kitsunekage12 Ikr, he will be big and scary in his own universe, but if you make him fight with anyone who has a human-like stand in JJBA, even if he can actually see the stand, he would get absolutely creamed.
I love the fact that sportacus has the raw strength to launch an apple to the moon in 7 seconds (approx 20% the speed of light) and he owns a bat that can withstand that kind of force
Sportacus can play ping-pong with himself by flipping over the table faster than the ball bounces. He's baseline hypersonic, they just slow things down for the camera so you can actually see what he's doing.
Sportacus doing 150 pushups and start's Backflipping towards Homelander and after getting close starts saying (Stay proud, you are strong) eats an apple and beats homelander
The Apple Amp is actually based on Apple type. The rock was a Gala, but the Pyramid was a Red Delicious. So it depends on the battlefield's apple contents, and what TYPE. Sportaflop(/aff) eats a Honeycrisp, probably nothing, but if he's chompin' down on a Granny Smith or another Red, it's gonna be back to the gym for Homelander.
@@coffee-with-sprats It's all in the nutrients. Sportaflop cannot be beat with enough of them. ...also the Forbidden Fruit from The Bible IS an Apple, so if someone were to give him that... uh... be afraid.
Even though he's live action sportacus does use cartoon logic. And cartoon logic is the most broken ability you can have since you can just survive crap that would normally kill you. Anyway this match up is funny thanks for sharing.
I love that Sportacus is such a mundane super hero by comparison makes his more absurd feats so much more impressive, he could probably stop an earthquake or something just by flexing a seemingly random muscle, wouldn't even be on purpose too he'd probably be in the middle of one of his impromptu workouts or even just one of the poses he does before or after said workout, he's very fun I suppose is the best way to put it.
I feel like the relativistic apple feat hasn’t been stressed enough. It required no apple amp, nor any concentration really. It was a casual feat, giving Sportacus town level on a casual off hand strike. This suggests that with some concentration and an apple amp sportacus could just stand perfectly still, tank all of homelanders hits and just obliterate him by sniping him with town/city level strikes without breaking a sweat. Another point I would like to take into consideration is the possibility of sportacus being able to dodge homelanders laser beams, since homelander is usually shown to require at least a split second before firing a laser beam, and sportacus certainly has the ability to perceive things at relativistic speeds as shown by him maintaining visual contact with the apple while it travels at 20% C. (Not to mention that sportacus can just see it land on the moon in a crater, giving him not only relativistic reaction times but also low end 200,000 mile detection range)
The most damning thing about Homelander's scaling is that he literally can't access super strength while flying, because he has nothing to push off from insofar as lifting feats are concerned (you need to push up from the ground from a lot of strikes in fighting so it translates) which makes his ability to fly a lot less relevant than you think. He cannot pick up a plane while flying.
You missed something in the pyramid feat. He did all that without the Zeppelin he was on tilting any noticable amount. Meaning he has some kind of anti gravity powers in addition to his insane strength.
I also think its important to note mental health in this matchup given the boys as a show focusing rather heavily on homelanders manipulatability and general mental instability. As sportscus is known specifically for his extreme health id say its a pretty safe assumption that extends to mental health giving him an advantage when it comes to strategizing around his opponents, especially if hes observant enough to notice homelanders frankly pretty noticable mental weaknesses.
For me, there are 3 different types of Speed feats: - Travel/movement Speed - Combat Speed (specifically how fast the individual can attack) And - Reaction Speed (this feat is typically supplemented by Movement/Combat Speed, but there are instances of characters who can react faster than they can travel and faster than they can fight)
i remember there being a theory saying that Robbie Rotten used to be a sportacus, since "Sportacus" is a title that has been worn by other 9 ppl (our sportacus its the Tenth one, thats why he has the number 10 in his suit and equipment), the theory basically said that Robbie used to be the Nineth sportacus, and that something happened that made him loose his drive and motivation, turning him into the robbie that we know today. that might explain why robbie is able to tank a cannon ball to the chest, and being launched to the moon by one of his traps, since he used to be a sportacus he still might have some of his abilities(specifically his durability) i also didnt remember Robbie being that tall lol (more proof that he used to be the nineth sportacus)
"Silly Scout, we all know spaceships travel at the speed of plot" saw this comment on an old Scott Manly video about the speed of a "torch drive" in a science fiction film series and it basicly explains the "apple amp" Perfectly. A characters strenght is always determined by the plot, what really matters is the writer being capeble of explaining the reason of the power in a way that is consistent with the larger nerative/rules of the universe if not, it becomes your avarage "they won with the power of frienship"
5:22 i'm pretty sure this scene throws any calcs out the window and puts him solidly in the 'toon force' category. he imparted force while in craft craft that is pedal powered propeller driven in the vacuum of space
Since space isn't technically a vacuum, there are very few particles it could instead be interpreted as showing that he can impact enough momentum into these sparse particles to propel himself and the rocket. This would put him solidly above pretty much everyone in terms of physical strength
Its also quite possible that all of Sportacus' flight devices scale to his speed/power, as they are all pedal powered. In one episode in particular, he goes all the way around the world in mere moments to China and France to chase down runaway Robbie Rotten inventions in one of these pedal-powered planes, a bit of a loose scale for his speed, but the power he'd have to generate is insane. Another note is that his perception, precision, and reaction time are off the charts and these stats are underrated. He was able to actually see his apple land on the moon and there's multiple feats of him knowing exactly where something is going to end up after hitting it with the baseball bat. He's also able to travel all over the place and know exactly where trouble is happening. Homelander would never catch him off guard.
Something that's been pointed out in DEATH BATTLE is that Homelander is a big fish in a small pond. As a result, he doesn't need to get stronger, whereas his opponents are CONSISTENTLY forced to push/exert themselves, meaning they could handle him, even if he DID put up a good fight!
i usually don't watch this kind of VS vids on yt, but i literally saw people discussing it on X, so i just HAD to watch this one (well, that + i'm kind of a fan of Sportacus myself since dude's a gigachad)
The fact that the guy who played sporticus accomplished what he did on a bet and became a veritable superhuman in real life gives his fictional character a win in my book even if the show is weird AF. He did those stunts for real. That's some god tier human accomplishment right there

I would imagine him keeping him alive long enough with his arms and legs broken and blinded to hear Sporticus laugh into his ear.
Spartacus potential is also really high, when he is set up to the challenge and self improve, he does. Its not really a fair fight lmao

Technically, yes, if you count the diabetes-level sugar infused apple he was given in that one episode. But that was because of the sugar, not the apple itself.
The One Punch Man situation.
The fact that the outcome of the Battle entirely depends on the fact of "does he have an apple?" Is so funny to me
I'd say it's more about "can he eat the apple fast enough", because someone of his caliber would most likely carry at least one apple with him at all times.
Turles moment
@@kitsunekage12 Ikr, he will be big and scary in his own universe, but if you make him fight with anyone who has a human-like stand in JJBA, even if he can actually see the stand, he would get absolutely creamed.

Now this is the power scaling content we need
The most amusing part of this is imagining Sportacus styling on Homelander with exercises and giving helpful advice to everyone while beating him.
It's a piece o' cake to bake a pretty cake.
I grew up with Lazy Town (ofc had no idea about powerscaling when I was little lol) but I never thought of Sportacus as an OP character!
This video is WILD. But I’m here for it 😤
I feel like the relativistic apple feat hasn’t been stressed enough.
He did the apple feat when he was about to go to bed too. Imagine if he had full rest.
Calcs will be added to the description within the next 1-2 hours currently not home to add them at the time of upload.
its been 8 hours bud
pick up the pace 🫰
The most damning thing about Homelander's scaling is that he literally can't access super strength while flying, because he has nothing to push off from insofar as lifting feats are concerned (you need to push up from the ground from a lot of strikes in fighting so it translates) which makes his ability to fly a lot less relevant than you think. He cannot pick up a plane while flying.
We found One's/Murata's inspiration for Saitama getting launched to the moon
Sportacus walked so Saitama can run 🗣️
You missed something in the pyramid feat. He did all that without the Zeppelin he was on tilting any noticable amount. Meaning he has some kind of anti gravity powers in addition to his insane strength.
never watched either show but sportacus is giving major "if waluigi was a superhero" vibes
For me, there are 3 different types of Speed feats:
- Travel/movement Speed
- Combat Speed (specifically how fast the individual can attack)
And
- Reaction Speed (this feat is typically supplemented by Movement/Combat Speed, but there are instances of characters who can react faster than they can travel and faster than they can fight)
The cannonball that Sportacus outran was clearly going much slower in his cartoony world than a real cannonball.
This is a unique matchup that I never thought about
i remember there being a theory saying that Robbie Rotten used to be a sportacus, since "Sportacus" is a title that has been worn by other 9 ppl (our sportacus its the Tenth one, thats why he has the number 10 in his suit and equipment), the theory basically said that Robbie used to be the Nineth sportacus, and that something happened that made him loose his drive and motivation, turning him into the robbie that we know today.
that might explain why robbie is able to tank a cannon ball to the chest, and being launched to the moon by one of his traps, since he used to be a sportacus he still might have some of his abilities(specifically his durability)
i also didnt remember Robbie being that tall lol (more proof that he used to be the nineth sportacus)

while in craft craft that is
pedal powered

Since space isn't technically a vacuum, there are very few particles it could instead be interpreted as showing that he can impact enough momentum into these sparse particles to propel himself and the rocket. This would put him solidly above pretty much everyone in terms of physical strength
"we will talk about the apple amp in just a second" jus take my subscription bro 😭😭😭
😂😂😂🙏🏻
6:07 you don't need this many decimal places dude
This was *really* comprehensive and straightforward for a powerscaling vid- awesome stuff!
I know my boy Sportacus is slamming that beta!
