    My approach is running for mental health but walking and strength training for losing weight. When I increase my running, I don’t have as much energy for strength training and I also think that I tend to eat more because running is pretty energy intensive and stressful on the body.

    Three times I have lost 100 lbs I worked hard, gym lifting light weights, & ran 5k. And I watched my diet.
    Anyway I have to agree, running alone does not help weight loss.
