I totally agree, grown out was better. Softer and warmer with her coloring. Just because we like a certain color doesn't mean it will be flattering to us.
I agree it kind of has that "bleached blond" look, but for a very first bleach job, she did a really good job. I think a strawberry blond dye would get rid of the bleached look and would look very good on her.
It didn't look great in the end and she did make a few mistakes, but I feel like we need to give her a few points for actually reading the instructions on the dyes lol.
I think she did a good job bleaching her hair!!! A lot of people would have wound up with hot roots, orangey-yellow mids and melting ends...so props to her for getting a nice even base!!! Now we just need to find a good color for her to tone it!! I do wish you had given her a suggestion for what toner to use, I think it would be nice to give that advice so she can learn from the experience and your video. I wasn't a fan of the color on her though. She did look better with the beginning color, but she can fix that with a shadow root!!

As an ashy blonde, I can confirm the red color. It comes out more depending on the lighting and what season it is. Agree the super blonde she wanted would not have looked right as her skin tone is more towards the red head pale. Kudos that she knew to stop as her hair got drier.

You’re saving the women of England one at a time! Got me onto blondeme and will never look back! Just got a message from one of my besties saying she’s bleached her hair and sending me updates, I asked what bleach and vol she was using and she sent me pictures of a box dye! Threatened to beat her and said get a tub of blondeme powder and I’ve got a bottle of 20 vol and we’re gonna bleach next week after she’s put a temporary medium/dark blonde on for the weekend (she’s got to work and her hair is at the orange/yellow stage) and some bond treatments. Fingers crossed I don’t screw it up as she has beautiful long hair!🙈🙈🤣xx

My sister and I have similar coloring to her. Reds look very good on me, even orangey ones. My sister went yellow blonde like this and it also washed her out. However, silver blonde actually looked really good on her, which surprised me.

Why does everyone want to go platinum blond? I don't get it. Her hair looks fine but I would color roots a little bit darker like shadow roots, I think it would look more natural on her
I personally prefer when some of the natural color or a darker shade remains, especially at the roots, instead of all blond. Regrowth is not as obvious and it gives some texture. Then again it's just my pov, as I would put the scissors in this beautiful head of hair to let her just enough curly hair express themself freely to reveal her overall beauty. Hair falling at the right place once towel dried and let them air dry with minimum product or blow dry and style or straightened! 😁 Thanks Hair Buddha, you are the best! 🤗
Trial and error...that's how we learn as hairdressers (with professional learning as a base)! As regular folk...we think we're experts 😊 She didn't use coconut oil...a plus 👍🏻
I actually liked that color on her. She has clear skin. If she had skin that had issues, it might have accentuated those issues, but her skin is perfect. I think that color made her eyes look lighter as well. I thought she looked so pretty. Very Dakota Fanning. Lol.

I like it..I wanted to say my Hair is almost nine with slight brown/ grey at the bottom underneath anyway point is my hairdresser put white bleach I have no clue about strength she never checked me I was a nervous wreck but it always looked ok however I never went back.why put myself in a chair for 90mns it didn't get hot or anything but I have fine hair and was scared id end up with none..Four years I haven't touched my hair.. I am grey so I don't bleach but I think it's just too hard to do by yourself. You really need a trusted friend to help if you want to do it at home. I think people get tired by themselves and lose momentum.

Bleaching fine hair is not fun XD I’ve tried too! Blonde is definitely a status symbol for sure with how expensive it is. If I do it again I will go to a school for a discount.
People should at least buy double the amount of products for hair to the top shoulders and triple the amount for hair below the shoulders. It's better to have too much than not enough of the same brand product,because mixes different name brand products,usually makes a disaster of your hair results.

Sorry if I seem boring..I personally thought her hair looked 100% better before she put all this rubbish on her head! It ended up looking like yellow candy floss..very sad as she had lovely way hair...now frazzled floss :(
Her grown out hair looked better before she bleached it. The stylist who originally did her hair gave her a great balayage that grew out beautifully.

In the US, we call her pale look as being “washed out.” She ended up looking flat with no dimension. The skin and hair blended together.
She did do a really good job and I luv her wavy/ curly hair. When it grows out a teensy bit it will look great.😊

Ash blonde on her is way better than golden. You can see the difference in the sun at the end. Maybe T14 might have been a better choice for toner
