you would not be provided with extra pages, but you can do the rough work on the question paper, anything written on the question paper would not be marked.
For writing, they should give you a scrap paper for you to make notes. However, in Listening, you will be expected to type your answers as you listen through (aka as soon as the audio ends your time is up, there will be no 10 minutes to transfer your answers since you've already "written" them in your computer, unlike in paper-based tests).
Question for the Writing section: Do we have the option to cut and paste a sentence/paragraph or do we have to manually erase them and retype them? This video did not answer me this question. Anyone who had already taken the test please answer me here. Any help is appreciated.
Yes you can use the shortcut keys like when you highlight a text on your paragraph then use the shortcut ctrl+x to cut it and move to the other part of a paragraph by typing ctrl+v for pasting. You xan erase an entire paragraph by highlighting it and press backspace or delete on the keyboard. Hope it will help you. I've recently taken this format for my IELTS😅
Sadly no, since they expected us to fill in the blanks as we listen along. However, I still think the benefits of Computer-based for Writing task still outweigh this, since you can quickly add a sentence/paragraph to wherever you please in your essay, something you can't do in paper-based. A massive advantage if you ask me.
Hi! Can we also highlight parts of the listening test? Thank you!

Do they have a spare paper where you could write notes especially on the listening task.
