While it's probably not a car I would buy if I had the money. The way James describes this vehicle, and his ability to almost put you the viewer in position in this vehicle, through his use of language, is second to none. It enables me to almost feel what he is feeling and seeing. And for that I thank you, well done anther excellent presentation.
BMW itself said that 1/3 of sales go to the Asian market, which is why they decided on a car appearance that does not differ from Asian production. For me this car is badly designed....
As a chauffeur, I currently run a W222 Sclass, which is due for replacement in 2024. Having sat in the new i7 recently and after watching numerous vids on TH-cam, a hybrid version of this is definitely on my radar. Thank you for what is probably the best review of this vehicle so far 👌🏻👌🏻
Great video. Cant believe BMW did not offer a digital mirror option when the screen is in use while on the go. I would leave the screen off the options list along with the rear blind.
The TV is great but Pimp My Ride was doing that in Vauxhall Nova’s years ago. Seriously though, the car looks amazing and really suits the whole EV ethos
One thing I'm noticing way too much in new cars is cheap areas and materials are everywhere... New top rang s-class doesn't even have chrome aluminium switches, they are plastic and they feel plastic. In this bmw it seems like they put a reason behind it's price and that's how it should be. Cristales, stuff you don't get in a vw, stuff that let's you know all the time what you have achieved and what you have, makes it feel special always. Also I saw this one in real life and it is a beast, it really does have a presence unlike the newest S-class and especially A8
@@maurizioarrivabene8182 definietly not true but okay, new golfs are alot nicer than youre bmw bro, maybe not a 7 series but if its below that then yes.
The lack of larger air vents is my biggest concern as someone that lives in Arizona. With that being said, this car isn't exactly in my price range lol
the sound with acceleration is super cool but i am sure people would turn it off after the first week. it was surely a good investment with Hans Zimmer to test people's reaction to it
Mr JWW Great Review I think the All new BMW I7 is an Absolutely incredible Vehicle and I think it's absolutey incredible that Hans Zimmer made the sounds it makes and I think that Theater Screen is Absolutely Incredible
It is difficult to make a blanket statement about the quality of all car brands, as there are many factors that contribute to a vehicle's overall quality. Some brands have a reputation for building reliable and well-crafted cars, while others may have a history of issues or problems. Additionally, quality can vary between different models within a brand. That being said, there are some car brands that are generally considered to have higher quality than others. These brands include luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi, as well as brands known for their reliability and longevity such as Honda, Toyota and Subaru. These brands have consistently received high ratings in customer satisfaction surveys and have been recognized for their build quality and attention to detail. On the other hand, there are also car brands that have been criticized for their lack of quality in certain areas. Some of these brands include: Chevrolet, Ford and Dodge. These brands are known for their lower quality materials and fit and finish, and have been criticized for reliability issues and poor customer satisfaction ratings. It is important to note that quality is a subjective concept, and what one person considers to be a high-quality car may not be the same as another person's definition. Additionally, quality can change over time, as a brand's engineering and manufacturing processes evolve. In conclusion, while some car brands are generally considered to be higher in quality than others, it is important to consider your own personal needs and preferences when making a decision about which car to purchase. It is also a good idea to research the specific model you are interested in and read reviews from other drivers to get a more accurate idea of the car's quality.
When will manufacturers realize that one of the main benefits of EV’s is that they’re…quiet. Yes that’s right, quiet. Therefore we need no enhanced sound gimmicks to pacify our i.c.e. lineage.
You mean brands are looking for ways to charge people a unbelievable amount of money for a car and they have massively succeeded.. a Ford mustang is almost 60k and a 4x4 truck is almost 70k.. i dont even wanna know what this car costs
Not that I do but how come you can't lift a mobile phone to read a text message, but it's ok to drive around playing around with a touchscreen the size of a TV ??
those screens design and integration in the car/dashboard look very bad, why did we loose the cousiness of the top range, all trrying to look futuristic, minimalist, black white and grey, weird. Feels like a taxi or a train cabin.
Luxury doesn't means putting screens everywhere...if a car manufacturers put screens each and everywhere then it's not a luxury car...it's just a car full of gimmick technologies....Pure luxury is something which consists of sophistication both inside and outside..(for eg. Bentley and Rolls Royce) these brands never focus much on putting huge screens which are just distractions while travelling rather than travelling in immense comfort and luxury...all these luxury car brands just need to get rid of that shitty technological stuff asap.
It's amazing but in 7 years millions are going to be forced into EVs in the UK. Manufacturers need to make more effort in to developing cars for the masses, not cars they may sell a few hundred of. As it stands myself and many, many others will be turning to China for an EV or be forced off the road.
I love the front. It looks stupidly futuristic. The side and the rear don’t match the futurism and I think it’s because of the window trim and the lack of a shoulder line. But the interior… BMW should keep in that direction and integrate this madness into the 3 series
Great review as usual. I would have to know I can turn Mr Zimmer’s production OFF as a default start up. What an irritating car. And to have people in the back watching “Texas chainsaw massacre” or Starwars couldn’t be more distracting. We need to limit in car entertainment like this to a stationary vehicle. How many accidents………..? I’m a peteokhead not a gamer. Sorry

Such a great introduction to the the new i7 James. BMW should use this in their commercial.👌😉
I saw this vehicle disguised on the 405 fwy on Monday. There was nothing BMW could do to mask that horrific snout.
Great video. Cant believe BMW did not offer a digital mirror option when the screen is in use while on the go. I would leave the screen off the options list along with the rear blind.
It's called the Sheperd tone James. Zimmer loves using it in his scores.
The TV is great but Pimp My Ride was doing that in Vauxhall Nova’s years ago. Seriously though, the car looks amazing and really suits the whole EV ethos
The audio upon acceleration is a whole new meaning of "tuning"
One thing I'm noticing way too much in new cars is cheap areas and materials are everywhere... Yea that’s why I don’t rate Mercedes anymore as they’ve lost the quality which was supposed to be their main selling point
yep becuase the average merc bmw driver only cares about the badge and is probably a slight step up from their old vw polo so they dont care

Keep it!….looked at the new Alpina X7 the other Saturday on its release night at Sytner, amazing bit of kit👌
The acceleration sound effect is like the one for the THX brand advert. 👌
Thanks for watching and leaving comment, you have been selected among my shortlisted winners 🎁🎁. Hit up to claim your price.. 👇👇👇 @Biss_cute.
hans zimmer literally just used the THX sound system intro sound 😂😂😂
Credit to BMW for giving something resembling a breeze-block a drag coefficient of just 0.24, can't have been easy.
The lack of larger air vents is my biggest concern as someone that lives in Arizona. With that being said, this car isn't exactly in my price range lol
'Hans' Brilliant! So funny.... Had one in my rear mirror on the Highway and it showed like a monster car, especially in black with its huge grill.
the sound with acceleration is super cool but i am sure people would turn it off after the first week. it was surely a good investment with Hans Zimmer to test people's reaction to it
The more I see this car the more I like it especially in that spec
Really nice presentation of a masterpiece ...
I was enjoying 👌👌
Thanks!

Beautiful clip thanks a lot ...
and I praise the Lord
For providing my needs...
The future is here.
its so amazing this new i7 right james by the way good video.
World most hugly car!😁
Great video.
How much is subscription for using the car services??
Just saying 😂
Great timing as the world sees a recession 😂… might not fly of the shelf.
Ppl who buy these cars are only getting richer
My OCD when you were driving to close to that centre kerb.
Incredible looking motor car.
Let’s see how good the Ghost will have to be when it goes electric!
Looks like a phantom from front
You're actually right!!
Killer for people who enjoys electronc music. Cool video and car!
they knew you were coming n hid it 😆
Well. That's one horrific looking car.
It looks better in person in my opinion
I think it looks nice
Horrible looking. Who would buy this? Very few people will. Typical reviews by typical TH-cam people to follow….Yawn.
Car looks stunning in person
Still take this over a Tesla anyday
I'm so confused.. did you just compare this I7 to the EQC? What about the EQE or the EQS?
Much better than Benz
this is way cooler than an S class
It is right!
What is the difference between the AMG 53 EQS Vs the i7?
Battery last for 10 years. Consider that fact this car is so expensive and may not worth it
So it plays a version of the THX sound on acceleration….
Buttons > touch screens
A Hybrid would be much better as they are a long way from resolving battery and charging infrastructure
Agreed, they offer a hybrid too 👍🏻
Can you please make music down, and don't forget to turn on blinkers
Never saw that bad boy whn i passed that garage yesterday on my way home!

is there an off button for added white noise?
One would hope
What an incredible video James!
Enjoyed this one James, more so thank expected given wasn’t that interested in the car. Fair play 👏
CJon32s is the first youtuber to own it🔥🔥🔥.He got the full package
You missed the sliding front passenger seat!
But would you buy one that will depreciate faster than a car going round Nuremberg

Rip it a new alternator! Great turn of phrase! Do Ev’s have alternators?!
Damn I’m kinda early and damn what a beautiful car
It sounds kinda like an office next to a mechanical/hvac room.
Tremendous car, that screen, that sound is amazing. Well done Mr Zimmer!

More luxurious than a Rolls Royce?
Same materials and engines, big difference is bmw’s new interiors aren’t as boring and plain of RR’s now

I fancy one of these get my butler to drive me around Stoke 😂😂😂
We lost the meaning of having a car with all this cheap looking screens
now all it needs is angry mode 1100hp with AC/DC sounds
The touch screens ruins this car for their only demographic....the Blind.
Ultra low drag coefficient? cw of 0,24 for the i7 is a lot more than cw 0,22 for the Taycan Sport Saloon and cw 0,208 for the Tesla Model S Plaid. 🤔
Because those other two cars are not super lux limos you pillock. It also has a higher cd than a F1 car too!😂
This thing doesn't look like a pebble though
When will electrochromic glass be standard on a car like this? Sunshades that move up like that seem early 2000’s.
jesus christ the plasticity of the kidney grills would make me want to weep, or possibly bawl
The acceleration noise is awful. The best thing about an ev is silently putting your foot down and the Mrs not realising
All these lights and screens are taking more miles off a trip with the power usage 🤔
Pretty ballsy of them to call it the i7 , considering what a joke the i8 was . Does this also have a hybrid 3 cylinder ?
Not that I do but how come you can't lift a mobile phone to read a text message, but it's ok to drive around playing around with a touchscreen the size of a TV ??
An EV that still looks like a proper road car.
The rear seat video screen would be great for long drives.
If Cheshire housewives was a car!
Please someone do the 750e and be different...everyone doing the damn i7
Stunning car!
The interior is definitely one of the best in the game! Love it
Android: Am I a joke to you?
Am I the only one who thinks it sounds like THX?
A BMW that won't leak a lot of oil or coolant? What is this - Bizarro World?
So many screens equals to alot of finger prints
Acceleration by THX...
I expect a large percentage of new i7 will be specced black on black stuff on the exterior... 🥴
So went and got the run in done on the m3 then 😂
I’d rather have iPad holders
Electric cars can bring a bit of amusement yes, but not bliss. James laughed like it was a joke. Nothing like he has laughed with some ICE cars.
