Fabulous Yak! I just got one too after our other Natives were stolen at High Rock Lake. We had a Titan and the original Slayer 10 from 2008. This one is improved with the kevlar rudder cable and longer rudder. We can notice an immediate turning difference and I don't think you need a Boondox rudder anymore.
I got my Slayer Max 12.5 last year and absolutely love it but I see some pretty good improvements Native made between the introduction of the 12.5 and the 10. I’d say they hit it outta the part with the Slayer Max 10 but I think I said that about the 12.5 as well. Nice job on the walk around.

Sold my 2019 Nitro Z21 a few days ago. It was my dream boat and I paid cash for it. I came to realize fishing large pressured lakes just lost a lot of appeal. I am buying one of these to hit less pressured ponds. There is something to be said about simple and ease of use.
Got any videos on how to launch and land the kayak with the sidekick wheels? Just wondering about different techniques or if you just have to wade out in the water to reset and set the wheels.
so there is little bit of a finesse technique. I used the side handles to lift one side at a time. The side kick wheel you are living has slight play in it. When you have one side lifted and the wheel is off the ground find the play in the side kick and it will slide right out. I'll try to make a mental note to make a launch video. Cheers
Get you set of 2 wooden horses to offload it onto as they are cheap & you can even make them to save money. Also get a bed extender for truck & load it in your truck, nose kayak in first & on your bed extender put on a Styrofoam floaty noodles to rest the rear of the kayak on and let the bottom rudder part be free of interference. Just tie it down good & your good to go, no worries. Hoped this helped. Tightlines.

Nice boat, but good luck with your power pole micro...I'm on my 3rd one! They have all been junk and replaced under warranty. Wont buy their products anymore! I'd rather drop a dumbell as an anchor....lol!

I’d say the big difference is weight and Maneuverability
Looks great, replaceable skid plates would be a nice addition and would make it pretty much perfect in my opinion.

Did this replace your Titan 10.5 and if so why? Less weight? How do you think they both compare?
I upgraded because It was lighter and easier to load on my SUV. Love them both!
How’s the kayak drift? Also if your hand is not on the hand control just pedaling does it go straight?

Yes unfortunately when this video was recorded they sent me the wrong cross bar. It was a little loose so i tapped it temporarily.

There is actually a place for a threaded bolt on the side kick. Fits perfectly!

I don't like the rudder on the bottom like that. Seems like a lot could go wrong loading it and moving it around.
