    Splendid! It's so beautiful when your painting expertise shows up (specifically adding the baby blue to desaturate). It's always a great reminder to never run on autopilot. I think the snake skin texture would be really neat under maybe some drippy celadon combos.

    Hi, I love how you've made these designs. You mentioned using Silicate over the underglaze. Why did you do this, please?

    • @LittleStreetPottery
      @LittleStreetPottery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      to get the cracks

    • @annruel1982
      @annruel1982 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the sodium silicate dries out a thin layer of the top part of the clay so that when you stretch the clay, the top layer cracks. Give it a try. It is fun. Thanks for watching!

    Should we do the clear glaze after bisque fire of the underglazed piece

    • @LittleStreetPottery
      @LittleStreetPottery  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did on these - you dont have to but it gives it a nice finish. It also helps to make it food safe if you glaze where any food might touch. Thanks!
