You need to find the AirTag first before it can be disabled. This would be a challenge if its in your car. Crooks will just disable the AirTag speaker making it harder to find. Unfortunately you cannot also stop other tracking products.

Thank you for the good video. I follow step by step from the video and I found one red icon was TRACKING me last year but now an Air Tag no longer somewhere in my car. I guess a tracker took off long time.

iPhone users shouldn’t have to ensure 300 different settings are set properly! Just give us the app that lets us check at will.

So what’s the point of an AirTag then to try to safeguard one of your items? If someone steals it, they will be notified there’s an air tag tracking with them and can disconnect the tracking. Waste of money these things are then.
