This is such an IMPRESSIVE project you two are on, so much value. Maybe you guys can take the most questionable grades and take them to a card show BGS is at and have a few reassessed for content etc. and perhaps challenge what you disagree with
Dang for real the thumb nail pic of you guys and the luffy in the back I'd amazing work who ever did that for you too! Wow I loved it! Nice to find you guys love op
Thanks! It's a combination of Midjourney and my own Photoshop skills. I really like how our faux Black Label slab turned out :) Re: Trips to Beckett - oh really? Like fly in from out of state or something? Now that's dedication :)
Yeah we dropped off some new submissions yesterday and talked to someone about that. They are working on increasing consistency, though the use of AI as an assist seems to currently be off the table.
There is. We do keep some for our personal collection, but you can find a number of them for sale on our eBay store. However, my wife just had surgery yesterday, and she handles all orders, so we have temporarily paused sales while she recovers. I'll try to remember to return to this comment when we switch things live again.
Quite possible. We are starting to do smaller orders anyway because it's a pain in the neck to manage all of it lol. I will say though, in a previous video we talked about a 76 card order we did, where we sent 7 of a particular card in...2 came back as 10s, and the other 5 were BL. So, it could be the cards we have selected to. And, at the end of the day, we could have had a grader nicknamed "The Hammer" while you got one far more generous. The human subjectivity element is at times frustrating, but it is what it is. What Black Labels did you land from that order? Sounds like that was a good day :)
Very true, but in general One Piece cards are such high quality that we consider 9.5 a failure of our process, especially since it doesn't really add much value to the card like a 10 does.

That's a great idea! Yeah we definitely need to put that on our To-Do list :) Thanks for the suggestion!

This is why i dont necessarily agree with grading cuz its not a standard they follow really.. a human is the variable...

Is there anyway of purchasing some of these slabs? Or is that not a possibility

how'd you guys do the bigger cards in the background?? that's amazing! :D
A bit of photoshop, a bit of AI Upscaling, and an online custom art canvas print website :)
Had a 8 card order end up with 3 black labels. Only eyeballed the centering and edges and sent them off. Maybe smaller orders are the way to go?

Dident get what you wanted but 9.5 is not that bad

@@BillionBeri true but recently I have been opening some English boxes and the sides and corners have white specs on them so maybe that’s why 🤔
They definitely have a fuzzy edge issue since OP03
Beckett fans in a nutshell 😂
Guilty :)
