I didn't but my tank is lifted (tilted) so that might be the reason. I have heard of some not having to do so, either way I think it shouldn't be too bad. Good luck and thanks for stopping in.
Thanks buddy. I have a 2011 m50 (named m800 here in Europe) with four spark plugs and I couldn't find any tutorial or manual to do this until I saw your video. I was thinking about taking out the fuel tank. These Suzukis with 4 spark plugs are rare.
Cool man!! That's awesome you found the video. And I'm not sure why it's a twin spark plug set up but if my guess better combustion? Yes but I also see some people don't have to remove tank and just raise it, I'm lucky my tank is raised. Good luck brother!
Several people have asked about bikes with only 2 versus 4 spark plugs. For certain years in the US (I only know about 2011) only the California models have 4 plugs. As zukins correctly guessed this is to meet stricter emissions requirements.
If you can't get to it from the original position of the fuel tank then just loosen one bolt that's holding the rear fuel tank and lift a little till you have enough room. But if I remember correctly you don't have to but do make sure you have the correct length extension and/or a universal joint can come in handy. Lastly you will need a thin wall socket for the plugs. Good luck 👍
Absolutely, a pair of spark plugs can be reach from rear left cylinder after removing 2 8mm bolts cover and the other pair from the front right cylinder. That is if you're sitting on your bike facing forward. Good luck
Don't mean to disappoint you but they are just front forks from my two stroke motorcycle to rest my feet while riding. I just welded a bolt to the ends of them
Hey bro wha problems have you boulevard before u change u spark plugs?? .... my boulevard start like stalling after the big rain ?? I hope is only spark plugs .. thanks
Mine was miss firing but it could also be because it's time to replace. In your case the rain could have done it in so it being a cheap part I would just replace them. Good luck
@@zukins5003 thats cool. Ive never even seen them before. Which im in U.S though. I dont know if its just the video making it sound this way, but sounds like your boulevard may have a vacuum leak
@@coin_addiction7167 you're absolutely right about it sounding like a vacuum leak but these supertrapp plate mufflers are somewhat known for that distinct sound lol
Modern plugs are pre-gapped, thats why there are so many plug model numbers. Not required to check or regap them
Did you need to remove the gas tank?

Thanks TFD for confirming that, appreciate it much.
Was it that easy to replace the spark plugs? No tank removal?

Can you next time show where they're actually located.

Hey thanks for video is the 2009 c50 same process
The Boulevard is the same from 2005 to present and believe even prior except they are carbureted. Good luck

I can only find two coils and two plugs on my c50
You might have one that is exported with just that, I'm not sure why not just all the same but if I had guess, air pollution control bikes.
Where did you get those exhaust end covers I need a set
These are replicas from what I've been told and I got them locally here in Thailand. I don't know what the originals are called sorry..
How many spark plugs are on the bike?
My C90T has 2 per cylinder and I believe the C50 also has 2 per cylinder.
Yes my C50 has two per cylinder
How many
Many on m50
@@zukins5003 I found 1 in the right front and 1 in the rear left (where are the other 2?)
Where did you find those skull tips??

@@zukins5003 ahh. I heard that. That makes sense.
What spark plugs did you use?
In the video I was NGK DR8ea but currently have moved to Denso X24 ESU non resistor for a hotter spark. Hope that helps.
How many spark plugs did you replace?
Two in each cylinder so 4 total with the same heat range as the oem
