As someone experiencing this tough period of searching jobs at the moment, I am so glad I came across with your video. Thanks a lot for the helpful tips! :)
Hlw Sara Very glad to watch your video, I am from Bangladesh,I am a architectural graphic designer and I am 15 years experienced but I don't have any degree I am skilled, and now I'm wanna go to Canada,, what should I do pls help me with this information
Dear Sara, Thank you so much for the video. You are very positive. I live in Uk and I come from Egypt, holding a bachelor degree of Architecture and environmental design (5years) and I have more than 10 years experience in Interior Design and Architecture In my situation what job title should I carry? Part 1 of Architectural Assistant? As I am more interested in Interior Design, I am a bit lost Thank you
Hello! Thanks for your lovely comment! In your case, I would apply for interior designer jobs! You have a lot of experience so “senior interior designer” would work well I think! Best of luck!
Dear, Sara! In addition to these raised themes, could you be able to give me your opinion on my special case? For instance, I'm an overseas architect from Russia with 6 years of experience in architecture and interior design, holding a bachelor degree (5 years) and a private master degree, "Diploma in Strategic Interior Design/IIE School of Architecture & Design, Madrid, Spain (10 months). In my case, what job titles can I apply for at the moment? Is it only Part 1 of Arch. Assistant? If so, is it possible for me to find a job in the UK remotely and then, after getting a job offer, start making a work-type visa and finally arrive in the UK? Or does it sound impossible from your point of view? Maybe you have some friends who have experienced the same issues. Thank you in advance, and good luck with your channel!
Hi thanks for your comment. It is getting more and more difficult to secure visa sponsorship from companies especially if you’re living abroad at the moment. In my experience, many people would come to the UK to study and additional post-graduate degree and then try to find a job after they graduate. The job would depend on the specialised degree. I hope this helps!
I am a bit confused. So someone graduated overseas can work in UK without getting registered here or doing masters here? What is the scope for it ? And what skills should one have before applying in uk?
Hiya! Yes, that’s right! It is possible to work in the UK even without a UK qualification. For example, you can work in an Architecture office if you have qualified as an Architect abroad. You wouldn’t have the right to use the title so your job title will be different, but you can still get the job if the company likes your cv and portfolio. There are other layers of complexity to this including the right to work in the UK and visa sponsorships which are not easy to obtain. I hope this clarifies things.
