Best tip most people don't realise: absolutely nothing needs to actually be connected on a station, you're free to toggle the collision off and build stuff to look nicer by clipping it into one another
The problem I'm having in my game is how despite I put 5 miners on gathering ore, four medium and one captured Okkaido, the Queendom appears to still lack hull parts to even make me a single medium hauler, nevermind trying to have a basic station built. This has kept on being the case in spite of building the highway and my proceeding to sell several boas and alligators. I'm considering acquiring a lage hauler and loading it full of hull parts at Avarice, the only place that seems to have a decent stock of it.
@@TheRuggedGamer You need hull parts to make hull parts, and just for the blueprint I need to make a hit like that Hokkaido a second time. It's convenient that such ships appear out of the aether just roving in the fringes of a sector, but it's gonna take a while.
You can buy new factory modules from faction representatives (where you get a rank-up). If you have the "Production Modules" research option researched, you can place an EMP bomb on a factory module you want and scan the signal sources. One of them will unlock the blueprint for that module.
I was going to ask the same question but you beat me to it. I was disappointed to learn the answer. However I did start a custom game to see what the option was about, you know to see if it could be useful to achieve the perfect satellite placement. Well it was not as useful as I was hoping but it gave me the chance to see the satellites hexes placements and count the distance between them. If you follow these rough guidelines, depending on your patience and precision you will be able to obtain the same results (more or less) as the layout in the video. Measurements: Horizontal distance from each satellite = 17.5 hexes approx. Vertically = 8.5. For vertical measure I took the distance from the satellite that I plan to add to the intersection of the meeting point of the 2 sats in the line above or below, depending of where I am placing it. I realize it is not a very clear explanation but it is the best I can do. Two easy to explain tips I can give you: 1 you can right click on the already placed sat to temporarily disable it so that the hexes show up and you can count them. Remember to activate them again when you have finished placing them. 2 the thing is easier if you pause the game and give instruction to at least put a whole line in one go. That way you don't need to disable them first, you see when the sat is active it does not show the hexes which makes counting them rather complicated.
This video is giving me the courage to start my own treating station appreciate the time invested in this.

Hull parts is a problem in my game too, so much so, I built my own!

⛑⛑🥇🥇🔨🔨 nice builds.
how to unlock new modules? For example I have a mission to build a station, but I can´t because I don´t have the Water production module.
Visit the faction rep
Where can in find a factory to add to my station

How do you perfectly place your satellites like that? Im jealous
Ahha its an option in the custom game start, im not that good at deploying them unfortunately lol
