I absolutely agree with the bands being friends. I have been in bands who were nothing more than a business relationship. You arrive at the scheduled time, clock in, do you part, take your money, clock out, leave. No wonder every one of those bands imploded. When you reach the point where gearing up for a fight is actually part of getting ready to go to work, you need to GET OUT OF THERE. With this current band, we all know each other personally, text back and forth, hang out at the studio, hang out at Denny's at midnight, sometimes even help each other with our personal life stuff. We are actually friends. For the first time in my life, I finally found a band where we are actually FRIENDS, and I actually enjoy being with them. So yes. No matter how good of a player someone is, if you cannot be friends, don't enter that relationship.
Fun story from 30+ years ago... I was playing in a bar band in North Dakota, just a few miles south of the Canadian border. The bar was packed full, the dance floor was full, the vibe was awesome, everybody having a great time. Then about 15 minutes before midnight, the bar emptied out. The only people left were the 4 of us in the band and the bartenders. I was horrified that I had done something wrong. What we hadn't been told was that the border closed at midnight. So all the Canadians had to leave early to get across the border. We finished playing, until 1:30am, to just 3 or 4 people. Total vibe change. The next 3 nights were exactly the same. Except we knew what to expect. 😊😊😊

are you in Malta - i did a collab with a pianist from malta (nasty dishonest person LOL) but I love the accent ! Life aint easy but look you are still here ROCK ON and you have a beautiful Malta girl!
Hah! 8 string variant! Rob you said it on minute 5:32 😂. Love the MLV and ML1 but, an 8 string (beside the rob scallon model) is missing. Maybe something cool, with 3 P90s... beside the typical H-H configuration everyone does :).
Only thing with guardian, I love it, the shape is so exciting and interesting, however it's just too big, for me of course. Reduce the body shape volume by like 10%, I could be all over it, but that's just me!
