@@dagdag3805 When going near any slippery slopes in the countryside you must wear appropriate footwear. Townies really have no idea, it amazes me how they dress for the outdoors. Nicola Bulley had little Next fashion boots on, they probably had narrow smooth soles. Should have worn some Dubarry boots or at least La Cameau Wellies, even walking boots on a wet day. Even walking across a field can have furrows which trip you over or make you sprain your ankle. I wonder how many people have slipped, fallen or tripped to their death through inappropriate footwear in dangerous terrain.

Absolutely everything about her gofundme message sets the stage for his demise. It’s preemptive programming. GoFundMe should refund everyone immediately and shut these grifters down.
All they need to do is go on their banking app and say it’s a scam. You get your money back within hours 😊

This go fund me should be frozen until it’s proven that this is not some elaborate scam. This guys past is very dodgy, a known gang member with a criminal record who should really be in prison after being part of an horrific attack.

The fact that Lucy listed the mother as the recipient of the funds is troublesome. It suggests that multiple people are involved in the scam.

People should notify Go Fund Me immediately that this is probably a scam to make sure that they don't pay out the money to her it will be returned to the people who donated.

She doesn't make any mention that he told her this in his phone call. Did the other elusive friend tell her? Why has nobody interviewed, heard from or seen them? Hmmmm.
She said she identified and traced them through Jay's snapchat. She drove over there to speak with them. Tney also were inerviewed by Spanish police.
I also heard voice notes circulating on Facebook from the other friends mum and apparently he was the last one to speak to him not Lucy. This whole case has baffled my head so much! So many different stories, statements not adding up. I just hope he's safe and found very soon.

You cant make a call if your battery is on 1%
Your battery can be over one percent when you start the call and it could be that during the call you see at the screen that the battery, which was in that case obviously already very low, went down to only one percent. Just saying because it is so. Now please *don't* think I believe that Lucy, she is a criminal.

He seems to have conveyed a lot of stuff but not much that would facilitate his rescue or emphasise that he needed help. The police will have any calls or texts, he made and/or Lucy received, and they'll figure out if there's anything odd about them.

It's just it's horribly co-incidental that someone's apparently gone missing 'without a trace' after a seed could possibly have germinated in the wrong people's heads in order to make a fast buck or 30,000. If my friend was missing my 1st sentence would be my friend Mark has been missing for the past 3 days i wouldn't introduce myself until i got that out 1st. Psychologist say ppl order things in order of importance clearly she sees herself as more important in this situation rather than Jay. Also she said she left before him and when he called her he said he was lost in mountains and unaware of where he was as far a Jay or Lucy knew he could've been round the corner 10 minutes from his hotel. How did she know he was miles from civilisation in a secluded area? She knows more than shes telling us i think she knew these 2 other ppl and knew where they lived otherwise how she know he was miles from civilisation? Another point if I knew my battery was low I wouldn't wait until it got to 1% before calling someone for help. You trying to tell me a teenager never checked his phone for 30 minutes come on I can't get my teenagers of their phones so there's no way he would've waited until 1% to call someone I don't buy it it makes no sense.

He was drunk and clearly on a come down from drugs which would leave him dehydrated and add to that the heat. Why would a young lad call the police when he's obviously been on drugs who would probably just tell him to call a friend or a taxi. He chose to call his friend. It’s strange that she calls her hotel/apartment, “home”. If I’m on holiday abroad, and at a bar having a drink, and if I said “I’m going home early because I’m tired”, the person with me will think I mean I’m taking the next flight back home to the UK.
What I noticed was when they were talking to Jay’s mother she said ‘the last person who spoke to him’, she did not say Lucy. The look on her face seemed to me that she did not like/know the ‘last person’ who spoke to her son. If Lucy was a friend who went with him you would think the mother would know about her?
So she didn't have the common sense to say either stay where you are, or find the nearest road and wait for help which I will try to organise right now?

My theory : Lucy takes Jay to Tenerife, lucy is a middleman in the drug game, linked jay up with these guys so he could get a 30k bag, lucy then steals that bag from Jay, puts him in the deep end, and sets up a GoFundMe to maximise her earnings. She has sold that 30kbag and spending gofundme for double earnings. She has went to Tenerife 17x in one year apparently. I honestly think Lucy is the devil behind it all. She enjoys a lavish lifestyle.
Also, “I woke up to…” is further establishing her alibi. “I woke up to…” means: See? I was HERE sound ASLEEP and didn’t even know Jay was lost until I saw/heard from him on my phone, so I can’t have been involved.
But she also said he left later with two men , how did she know this , if she was in bed asleep, he never mentioned that in he’s long conversation he had whist only having 1% left on he’s phone , lol

How would that mean that "they" are "wealthy" and that "they" can afford trips and stays? HE could afford a trip and a short stay FOR HIMSELF. Now use your brain to think what the money could be used for in all fairness, IF the GFM was done by a legit person and not by criminal Lucy who made ONE OTHER "FRIEND" OF HERS DISSAPPEAR FOR FIVE DAYS TO START A GFM FOR HIM AS WELL AND RAISED FIFTEEN THOUSAND (£ OR € I DON'T KNOW) WITH THAT GFM AND THEN HE SHOWED UP (and he was harmed, yes). Fundraised money can legitly be used for private non professional people to accomodate and feed them, since they do have a lot of costs even if they volunteer, voluntering just means not taking money for the work (e.g. searching) you do, it doesn't mean they can live costfree during it, also the fundraised money can be used to pay for private professionals, e.g. private detectives, private dog search teams, private dive teams, anything, and that actually costs money, we can't do everything for free just because it really-really-really *has to* be done: even very important things cost money.
So he's a 10 hour hike from his hotel, but only half an hours walk from the appartment he just left. What would you do?
By her own admission she went home at 1am so she would have no idea when he left the club, who he left with, or where he went. If he rang her, the phone records would show it. How was she out looking in the middle of the night for someone she didn't know was missing?
I presume she meant the night after he went missing but the phone records and call duration will be crutial in piecing it all together.

On the night of 20/06 (Wednesday) when Lucy claims she was out looking for Jay the overnight temp in Tenerife was a low of 14 degrees .......... I'll just leave that here..
At sea level, possibly it was colder in the mountains but I agree that 1 degree is a stretch.

I don’t believe this young lad got in a car willingly he’s either been told there’s money in it for him if he collects drugs for her in the mountains. She’s a known drug dealer on the island .

in the go-fund me lucy says that it was 1 degree and very windy while she was out looking, i assume meaning she was looking for jay, but she said in her statement she woke up to a phone call from jay saying he was lost so how could she have been out looking for him in the middle of the night if she didn't know he was lost until 8:30am?

Thing that’s most strange to me is he spent all night in two random blokes gaff but didn’t charge his phone at any point. It’s unlikely the strangers didn’t have a charger that would fit his phone.
Also he found a shop to buy snout from. Surely head back there and get them to help I.e. call a taxi and just sort it out when you get back to the hotel

This is why you shouldn't listen to Internet sleuths. He didn't spend all night there, they left the club between 3am and 6am on a 40 minute drive to the air bnb. Not everyone has the same phone, some people have iPhone and some gave Samsungs. He was drunk and off his head and on a come down, he clearly wasn't thinking straight. Read the actual news reports instead of stories from Internet sleuths. The police have already said the stories (bsckground noise);is making their investigation more difficult

Why did he go back to the two men’s apartment for ? It couldn’t be drugs as that sort of rave would be ringing in drugs , so did the two men know who he was and it was a set up to get revenge on him , for he’s past crimes , strange how two men would get an Airbnb so far away from the rave and also have a hire car , didn’t they drink that night/ morning, handy to get rid of someone, also they were both out there working at that rave selling , and what about the other person who went on holiday with them , what’s happened to them are they missing as well because no one has seen or heard anything from them , about what happened, that’s if there is another person and not more lies
The police search may be for Jay.. but behind the scenes the police will have everyone focused on Lucy....her calls... he emotions... how shes behaving around friends and family... people shes around that have shady pasts.. keeping an eye on what happens to this go fund me money (eventually) ...and much more. She will be under a huge scrutiny right now and I would imagine when they have enough evidence she will be brought in for further questioning... it sounds like she knows a lot more than shes letting on... I'd imagine the police will give her as much space as she needs to feel like shes not under any scrutiny and play a waiting game.

I concur. From a psycholinguistic perspective that message does appear to have been written with the intention of encouraging donations. Would a large amount of money ease her pain or does she want to donate it to Guardia Civil? More deeply, I think it's an attempt, a somewhat frightened one, to project an illusion. Possibly one the author will later come to rely upon.

Lucy Mae Law has lied many times. In Tenerife the climate at night is 14 - 15 degrees which is warm and pleasant. During the day in Tenerife the weather is 20 - 22 degrees which is warm and breezy as Tenefire is surrounded by the sea.

What was the purpose of him ringing her, was it for her to organize transport to rescue him, if thats the case why did he go aimlessly go wondering off instead of staying at a fix location for her and providing her with directions..I know he said he'd attempt walking but still begs the question why bother ringing her with only 1% on his phone, if it wasn't for a need to be rescued.

The fishy bit to me is why the media have been so taken in by it all and given the story so much exposure. My local regional news Reachplc outfit, YorkshireLive, has been conjuring up 3/4/5 separate stories about it every single day - a case of a lad from Lancashire missing abroad and there's been no developments as such other than his mum/grilfriend/friends have gone out to search. Many other people go missing abroad but their cases don't receive anything like the same attention. Are the media complicit in some way eg they know something now but can't tell us until it becomes really big?
I'd say they knew much more from the start but have a drip feed narrative to follow

Jay lost a bag of drugs and he's been taken hostage by a Moroccan drug gang against €35,000 ransom, hence the £30,000 GoFundMe appeal. This sort of story seems in line with the media and police knowing but can't tell all, and perhaps the police putting on a sham missing person search whilst discretly searching for his place of captivity.

This reminds me of a village i grew up in, people always gossiping making things up and putting their own spin on the scenarios they have conjured up in their own mind and then spreading all around the village. . . And would never let facts or a simple thing like the truth get in the way of a good old gossip.
