And I feel like I always learn the most from these videos as well - because you're teaching someone else. I love getting to sit in on the class and learn alongside of your children. THANK YOU for doing these! They are definitely my favorites! My roommates thank you as well. LOL! I've always been quite the cook, but this past year, you have really helped me to ramp up my game. Gordon, a little tip from an italian: In our traditional food we tend to never mix lemon with dairy, nor with pasta. In traditional italian cuisine, it's practically never going to happen to have lemon zest or juice in pasta or lemon zest over burrata. To balance acidity with dairy products we tend to use balsamic vinegar, and for pasta acidity is usually achieved with tomatoes (passata, tinned chopped tomatoes or fresh). However, the influences of other cuisines are starting to catch up with us and it's more and more common to see lemon juice and zest added to dairy products and/or pasta. I love the way you cook, you're an every day inspiration in addition to the old traditional ways i was taught by my dad. Watching you cook with your son reminds me of watching my dad cooking when i was younger and eagerly learning all of his secrets. Much love to you and your family.
