    thank you so much for the review, ive been trying to find out what brand the sound decoder is from for weeks now.
    you are the first to mention its ESU

    I was planning on buying it. but I couldnt afford it. but i kinda got the next best thing in the piko ICE 3 Amtrak and I put sound in it as well.

      Yeah, these Jouef higher end TGV sets can be quite expensive. I have tried to get the ones I honestly like though, if you can afford to get one, especially used on eBay, because they are really reliable sets from my experience having them. Could they have more lighting for the coaches? Yes. Could they make them easier to open the locomotives? Also, yes. You can also get them at a cheaper value without DCC/sound.

    Nice set but it does not seem to go very fast for a fast train!?

      Yeah, it does not seem to go as fast as the other sets that I have. On top of that, the decoder died during programming, so I had to replace the decoder. The new decoder makes the train go relatively as fast as the other TGV sets I have now.
