Such a wonderful idea to produce the needlepoint stitched versions. They look so wonderful and I love the correlation between stitching and crochet. I have never thought of it but maybe that is why I like the two so much! It is amazing how many times I talk to customers about the fact that immersing yourself in a creative outlet really help take your mind off anxiety and stress.

That canvas is beautiful complement to the blanket. Will you consider a tutorial on needle point like the blanket? I have never done needle point and would love to learn! I love all your projects!

What a lovely idea, to interpret the crochet pattern into a canvas pattern . It looks fab! Please release this as a commercial pattern when you are able ❤

Beautiful blankets and beautiful needlework. I have never been a lover of granny squares but now using them as colour patterns has given me a different way of using them. I love beach walks and I am happy to say I will be moving to the coast later this year.

Oh. My. Goodness. I love crochet (been doing it since I was a teen so that’s around 50 years now!) and I love stitching. Your canvas work is brilliant and very inspiring~ such a good idea. I’m tempted to have a go myself! I’ve shared your video with my daughter who also likes crochet and stitching. I’m sure she’ll enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you🧶🧵😊

Hi Marion. What a talented lady. I am fairly new to crochet and have just started the beach walk blanket which is so enjoyable and relaxing. However, the needlepoint is stunning and I would certainly be interested in buying a pattern should one be available in the future. As a widowed "senior" I find knitting and crochet relaxing and mindful. The hours fly by. I enjoyed your video very much and look forward to the next one. Thank you, Julia

@@juliahines3342 Thank you for your comment, Julia. I’m so glad you are finding relaxation through crochet. I must have a go at doing a needlepoint pattern. It’s just knowing where to start. If I do, I’ll talk about it on here. 😊

That canvas work is exquisite! The blanket itself is amazing but to recreate it in embroidery is a masterwork! I love your vlogs as well! I have recently discovered that I have Scottish ancestors from Gardenstown (Gamrie) in NE Scotland and now understand why I’ve always been drawn to anything Scottish. I live in NSW Australia and travel vicariously thru Utube 😅 Looking forward to watching many more of your vlogs❤😊

So inspiring! To be honest it was your canvas work pieces which first attracted me to your Instagram channel as I am first and foremost an embroiderer (and lacemaker). I made the Beach Walk blanket as it reminded me of so many of our holidays in Western Scotland. Now I’ve seen this video I shall definitely have a go at making my own embroidery of the blanket, whether you make a pattern or not. Thankyou so much for sharing so generously!
