    You should add some loops on back, like "molle" straps, with snaps so you can add it to a belt, backpack or just whatever. Would be pretty handy.

    Hi, I purchased the template and on page 4 - left side - there is a small rectangular piece with divets in the middle and stitch holes - but I don't see that piece in the video? I'm making this as a fire starting stuff pouch for my wife for Christmas, thank you for making it available!

    • @EleanaWorkshop
      @EleanaWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thank you for your order. The leather piece is optional; you can attach it as a loop on the leather pouch to hang it or use it as a belt pouch.

    Eleanor, I'm a beginner. I bought a copper stamp so I can burn my name into each project but the leather shrinks each time and badly distorts it. Can you give me advice. Much appreciated Pamela Tasmania Australia

    • @EleanaWorkshop
      @EleanaWorkshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Not all types of leather reacts the same to heat. Veg tanned leather has the best results. If the leather surface shrinks, it might also be because of the small thickness of the leather, or the high temperature of the stamp, or the quality of the leather.
      Make sure you use genuine leather and not PU leather.
      Get different samples of leather and experiment to find the right one for you

      When I print this off as said, then trim the edges the pattern doesnt match up. I've gone through all the settings and printed multiple times and it just never matches up, seems to cut a few mil of either side.

    I bought the pattern. What is the little tab for? I don't see it in the video.
    On page 2, the second from the top hole is closer to the edge than the other ones. Is this by design? If so, what does making it closer to the edge do?
    Thanks... looking forward to making this.

    • @EleanaWorkshop
      @EleanaWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! the little tab is an optional piece that you can use for a swivel hook. I sent you the updated pattern to your email. Thank you for letting me know about the two holes...

    • @jeffwill3016
      @jeffwill3016 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EleanaWorkshop The pouch came out great! I didn't use the tab, but your reply makes sense re: how it could be used. The hole pattern was fine -- I just split the difference on those close-to-the-edge holes. The pattern is very forgiving.
