- In this video, you can see how it looks inside / on LNG Ship, no music only real audio for a better experience.
For those who don`t know, LNG Ship or Gas Carrier is ship designed to carry liquified natural gas (methane) on the average temperature of -161ºC. In this video, you can see 290 meters long and 47 meters wide LNG Ship built for PNG Project.
We decided to split walk around in two parts due to length.

I am surprised to see any up close footage. I assume ship companies are as strict as mining companies about filming. In most mining companies like the ones I used to work for there was a very strict no filming or recording policy.

@@LifeAtSea Is there a special reason why the structures on deck are painted white? From "normal" tankers I only know that most on the deck is painted white or in an another bright colour to avoid too much heating up by the sun.

Shipping Lanes on ROBLOX has a wide collection of ships, all basically cargo and freighters, etc. This one especially. I am working hard on buying it. So beautiful even when you're on the ocean sailing freely, doing your job as a member of such a great ship. I never had an experience but it looks so beautiful. It made me want to learn about these ships and the interior, even duties after enjoying the roblox games.

They are painted white to keep the LNG cooler. White colour reflects the thermal infrared better.

Everything squeaky-clean, like in a hospital. But still, if something goes wrong on such a ship you're gonna need to get out of there real fast. I guess a free-fall lifeboat would be more suitable.
The tanker company must deal more clearly in the event of the loss of its crews at sea or there may be a deliberate crime
And just think all this can be replaced with a few wind turbines and some batteries. Right!

The winch motors you see are connected to the winches on the main deck at forecastle above him. The motors pump hydraulic oil in order the mooring winches or anchor windlass to be operated.
Hey! I'm finishing skippers school here in Norway and got a job as a deck cadet in a company which has both LNG carriers and oil tankers. They said I can choose what I prefer, but I have no idea what is what and why. Any thoughts on what I should think about?
Go for LNG Carriers, first they are more safe, by saying that I mean for your health also. Newbuildings are coming each year and demand for LNG is getting higher. If you have opportunity to do half of cadetship on each type of vessel, due it. It is great experience.
Wonder why the Fire Control room is only accessible from the outside? Seems like that would be a problem if you had a fire while in rough weather.

Yes but the engines can also run on fuel oil (duel fuel). They usually only run on boil off gas when fully out at sea.
