- In this interesting video about the world's largest container ships, we will tell you about how cargo container ships work, about the 3 largest container ships in the world, which you have probably heard about, but did not know that each of them can easily hold more than 20,000 containers!
We'll explain how container ships work, how they are designed and built, and how the Evergreen container ship and others set a world record! And before reaching the shoreline, the ship often faces another problem - trying to dock the massive vessel in an unfamiliar harbor, which requires outside help to climb aboard. Interesting videos about sea, ocean, ships, cargo ships and cargo ships. If you are a sailor or a ship lover, be sure to watch to the end, there are many interesting facts about ships in this video!

Did I fall sleep during the “inside” part and missed it?
Same for me
Inside the world's biggest container ship. Doesn't actually show it....
There is nothing inside it being the largest ship. I mean just the control room and monkey Island in ever ace
MAGA ha ha ha
@@leszekladzinski73 ?
They are not the world's largest container ships. The newest container ship, the ONE INTEGRITY, built by a Japanese shipbuilder and now in service overseas, outperforms Evergreen and others in terms of hull size and maximum number of containers it can carry....
Don't forget the Maersk Maximus
Good thing it was professionally welded.
Time will tell
All but 2 will be made in China, so you know its good quality!
Something tells me that the Houthis will appreciate this ship very much
I don't suppose. I don't know how the Houthis can unload but gather below it admiring.
😂😂zBig target.
Why they won't... it's made by the Gods of their Masters...
Impressive. Very nice. Let’s see Paul Allen’s container ship.
Look at the subtle lettering, the tasteful capacity. Oh my God, it even has a waterline
@@powerman1426 that’s great 😂
I know what you did there
it also has a tendency to stuck in certain canals 😅
and colaps some bridges...
I wonder on how many she can fit.
and run around in the Chesapeake Bay a few years ago.
@@dejvidrizothis did not involve Evergreen.
Full of our ordered Aliexpress junk 😊😊😊
Wait... Evergreen is half the price of Mark Zuckerbergs 300M yatch?
yachts are exorbitantl overpriced
Unbelievable that gigantic heavy ships can float on the sea water.
Ocean Liner Designs did a great video on this topic. You should look-up his channel.
Grab a container and put it in a sink filled with water…🫵🤣
Archimedes principle
I'm waiting for it to get near Somalia.

Prices actually seem pretty reasonable? I would have guessed a lot more
Cool video.. they are big ships.
But I think the info on the Engines is a bit off. The largest engines are or were built by Wärtsilä-Sulzer. They make 6 -14 cylinder versions. I believe they have 6 foot pistons with 8 foot stroke. 105,000 HP at 105 RPM. About the height of a 4 story house. Plenty of videos about them. These engines seems smaller.. But they may be more efficient or run at higher RPM.. not sure.
28,000 60ft containers on one ship is hard to comprehend.
Lol thats land trailers, container ships only store 40', 45' and 20' containers
Makes sense… I grew up in a mobile home.
Wow, Wow, Wow! It's absolutely amazing to see the details of these ginormous "Container Ships"!
That's 23,000 20 foot containers or T.E.U.s. Most containers nowadays are 40 footers so the capacity is more like 10,000 plus containers.
Although the standard unit is the TUE or twenty-foot container, the majority of containers - in UK at least - are 40 foot, so the numbers are half as many.
Still impressive vessels though!
wish they would just switch to Forty foot equivalent.
@@IanPunter Me too, but they never will - bigger numbers amuse them more. Same as NiMH (and other) battery/cell capacities still being quoted in mAh, whereas Ah would make far more sense with what's achievable nowadays. Plenty of other examples.
TEU's Tonnage Equivalent Unit
Kw of Power, not KW of energy. Absolutely great video, thanks!
How many Illegals can we ship home per load?
Wow it's definitely green 💚 just in time for ST. Patrick s day.😊
It's like a floating highrise.
Crazy how a landlocked country going to have the 10 largest container ships lol
Well, I won't be surprised if container ships are that big like it was in the thumbnail within the next couple of decades 😅
Speaks of mankind, and how much shyt we make going around the world each day on end. Incredible!
Finally and fully satisfied
Always remember this is very important things you must have idea and details in case of G pay 1.5 Trillion dollars you must solve.
Pirate be looking a lot for thy ship !
It may not be useful to the pirates.
The boards are too high for them and it is too fast as well
@@joeawk it’s big ship 🚢 lots money quickly no delays

It's ok to talk about the sheer size of these mega size containers vessels, as a matter of fact, but the reality is that they leave the Chinese ports half empty handed this days.
Just remember 17 of the largest container ships, produce in one year as much Co2 and SO2 as all the cars in the world in one day, now how many are there?along with other ships freight, cruise ships, Oil tankers, private Boats and every other thing that Floats?Car are the least of the problem.
I'm thinking 🤔 you should tell them how to transport all those containers your way so the world 🌍 will be a much better place!!!!
Well they could all be coNverted to run on LPG far cleaner than Diesel and Bunker Oil, The shipping sector is the world number one Polluter, just think about that before you that Cruise to the west Indies, or by that 70 in TV from Japan this year to replace it with 100 in next year, greed and consumption the greatest threat to mankind, want to change the world first change your life style.
What's your point?
Are you really that stupid ?try reading it again maybe with the help of an Adult.
@@ISeeNoCheezburgerWe are fcking ourselves?
I am from India🇮🇳
All this just proves just how much China is manufacturing and exporting. Truly amazing. Too bad the U.S. costs are too high to compete. :(
The Francis Scott key bridge is shaking
thanks ❤❤❤❤
I been handling containers all my life quite fascinating...👀.
Thoughts going out to all the poor souls who's package will end up in the hands of an Evri delivery driver.
I bet they're fun in a rough storm.
They are sooooooooo big and heavy that they won't be thrown around like a dingy.
Ok which ports can handle this size of ships?
Maybe they can take out the Mackinac bridge with this one......
SF Bay Bridge
Absolutely.. well said, have subscribed your channel do subscribe in return to globallogisticshub
I’d like to know more about the drive train. I know some cargo ships use the piston engine to turn an electric generator, which in turn powers separate electric drive motors. Similar to diesel electric train locomotives, but steerable. This eliminates the drive shaft and rudder. I wonder if the new ships described here, use this hybrid arrangement.
I am imagining enormous containers 😅 But I only see standard ones in the video 😉
How long does it actually take to load the ship from 'completely empty' to 'full capacity' ?
Depends how many cranes are working. I would suspect 2-4 weeks.
@@Chaoslifeee Thanks for the info :)
The thumbnail 😂😂😂😂!!!! SOME CLOWN HAVING FUN WITH PHOTOSHOP!!!
What brought me here is seeing inside the world's biggest container. INSIDE!
I wonder how bad it would be if that LNG reached room temperature? I'm glad its clean, but how dangerous is that?
olny thing beyond facts here is the thumbnail lol
Remember suez canal? Yes, that vessel!😅
Wow ... the humans who created that vessel are way smarter than I am. Just an amazing feat of technology.
The size of these container ships along with cruise ships and oil tankers is getting absolutely ridiculous, it's just a disaster waiting to happen where marine and wildlife will suffer and pay the price.
I saw another video that said these ships only have to make a handful of trips to pay for themselves! In the comments though, a lot of people said the math wasn't right.
With the height and length of the container cargo, I remain concerned regarding the windage that these loaded vessels could have to deal with in a big storm!
I saw at Malaysia at 20 kilometer away in Selangor
I was onboard on a container ship in 80 s when I hear this boats I am suprised so mouch cargo I have been in Baltimore also I remember national aquarium must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
amazing how cheap they are really. I mean theres single mansions worth that. or fairly minor road or bridge projects.
This is all what nature and himanity dont need.
Large and midium size container ships building to travel across the oceans
How many of these monster ships are sitting on the bottom of the ocean?
"Unnaturally low temperatures to keep fuel liquid'" - SMH...
didn't this thing (evergreen) get stuck in the canal for a week or two...
🤓Why do I like this ship stuff so much??
What about Maersk Triple E?
ONE THING I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND IS THE FACT THAT WHEN THESE MASSIVE SHIPS ARE IN HUGE STORMS OR SINK, ALL THOSE CONTAINERS DON'T FLOAT. YES, WE KNOW THE WEIGHT OF THEM BUT CURRENT TECHNOLOGY CAN OVERCOME THIS AND SAVE TRILLIONS IN LOST GOODS!!!
I thought those were a bunch of sprite boxes at first😂
Can these cross the Atlantic or Pacific?
This is insane!
how can they be built so Cheaply ??? just the cost of the Steel would cost that much?
I would assume its pretty much built by slaves, nowadays we just dont call them slaves but its the same thing anyways.
It’s Made out of Cheap Impure Chinese Steel. 😳😬😱💥
The Titanic had Better Steel.
😂😂
I think you missed out MSC Turkiye.
"professionally welded"? Are some of these ships built as a hobby?
What about msc Tessa sister ship to irina ?
Yeah the engineers can walk around inside this engine. Lol. This ship will pay for itself with a single trip most likely.
"I live in New York and I'm cold" ---- "You don't have enough isolation"
I dont know about 20,000 containers ,
2000 - 2500 maybe ...
A lot of eggs in one basket!
Can I order one on Amazon?🚢
I wonder what is the largest bridge this container ship can knock down.
Depends on how fast it can go fully loaded.
Hope those don't crashing into any infrastructure 😮
it fits 23,992 containers?
that doesn't look like 23,992 containers
Bro needs 20 tugboats to pull them💀
Wait... Did you say the first ship can take 21 thousand containers.. Holy moly.
I’m not gonna lie. The prices for these ships are incredibly low considering the revenue it brings in. I know absolutely nothing about shipping and I’m genuinely curious. If you had only on Ace ship would it bring in a billion over its life span?
Oh no, it's another Evergreen.
I work on shipping containers. It’s crazy to see them stacked more than 5 high
The ports here in the US do not have the capacity or efficiency to handle the volume of containers these ships bring in..the longshoremen go on strike and ships get delayed for weeks...it's a nightmare...
Good Ol’ Democrat Unions for ya !
Too Lazy & don’t want to work but want big Union Pay !
Wait till these Ports

Hey the displaced Union workers can go Flip burgers at McDonald’s and all the other Fast Food pits in California for $20/ hour Now !!

Now a Big Mac will cost ya $10 ! And take Twice as long to get.
Good Job Governor NewScum !

3:43 41km/h
4:28 660000 cubic foot fuel tank ?
4:48 23400 mile trip (37658 km trip )
That's like 918 hours in a row?
918/24= 38 days.
5:35 That's like 250 Tesla engines! Anyway, 63840*918=58605120kWh , 58605MWh, 58GWh.
1 Tesla Megapack got 3.9MWh,
58605/3.9 is about 15000 containers full of batteries.
Oké, maybe doing a 37658km trip at once is going to be a problem when you do it electric.
0:59 You just know the container I need is in the middle at the bottom
How can you over ride them
If they need to stop.
"Inside the worlds largest container ship" but we didnt get to see inside🤔🙄
THIS WILL WORK OUT WELL...
"...the drot of the ship"?
The world map is wrong
Wow big
Most normal people realize that LHG is actually the best fuel for large applications like this because it is still very powerful but it's 91% - 99% cleaner than diesel/oil. But that's not good enough for the environmentalists....they hate LNG too and only want "clean" non-fossil fuel based technology like sun/wind/electric which are not realistic in an application such as this.
Wait for the new bridge and send it to Baltimore?
So big it was built in parts and professionally welded together.... so how every modernish ship is built then.
heineken ???
Please use metric system
I shipped some car to Ukraine from usa about $750 per each car and it fits 3 per container. Times 24,000 is=$54 million. Not bad 😅
Draught is pronounced "draft"
25 years in construction, most mind blowing fact for me is they built it for $150 million. I've seen a lot more spent on a lot less!
it's bigger than Icon of the Seas?
Waiting for it to go in the suez canal
