    I can’t understand people who tortue cats/dogs. Killing naive and defenseless animals is sicking, hurting an animal period is sicking. Why do people love to see that cruelty? It’s so inhumane.

      I get where you're coming from, but I think there are ways to eat meat without straight up torturing the animal... this case deals with TORTURE, not just killing the animal which is way worse.@@Moth-Mellow

      @Moth-Mellow not really, I mean, the meat industry is cruel and we really should all move away from eating meat, or at least eat it very sparingly... But there's a difference between cruelty for cruelty's sake, and eating a burger. Though I'll admit, maybe from the animal's point-of-view, that distinction might not matter... I'd even concede that a brutal, torturous, but relatively quick death for an animal snuff film, might even be favorable to a life in a gestation crate or such, for livestock. And MODERN, CORPORATE factory farming is surely a worse nightmare than any animals ever faced in all history.
      I came across something, the zoosadism saga I think it might be called? But the most prolific individual in that was a "Tim Win" (he was a Timothy something from Winlock WA) who dedicated himself to inventing new crimes, brutally killing animals, often with his penis, filming it, and sending the films around, including to quite a few kids.
      The crazy thing about all that, was he got caught having posted all kinds of insane videos, him killing newborn goats after "having his way" with them.... I won't get I to the methods but, they are designed to be as disturbing as possible.
      He go caught having done this dozens and dozens of times, videoing all of it, sharing all of it, and sharing a lot of CP in the same circles.
      Wild thing was, despite his identity being known and public, despite his crimes being intensely disturbing, and most pointedly, despite sending this material to many children, and having and sharing a lot of CP... He never got so much as arrested for any of it, let alone convicted.
      The Kiwi Farms has all this on one of their forums, if anyone wants to search it up. Which I only recommend because it contains the bad guys full information, which should be spread. Look up zoosadism mega thread or zoosadism Tim Win

      So very true. You would think that someone would actually love animals if they go out of their way to find one and raise it from a kitten/puppy, not always true sadly. It grows up and they just go on and get 'bored' of it when it becomes a full adult and these people become neglectful at best, and rather than re-home it, they abandon it in the wilderness. It's murder, beyond cruelty. One of mine was rescued from just that situation.

    Humans torturing and killing animals for fun is some special kind of evil. There is such a visceral feeling of betrayal in hurting an animal that was raised as a pet reliant on humans and trusting humans to treat it well and take care of it 😢

    • @caitchri2426
      @caitchri2426 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +38

      I completely agree. I believe that there is some innate desire in all of us to love and care and nurture for things. And the desire to kill and destroy and torture is the exact opposite of that. That is completely evil and goes against human nature.

    • @monysugardogs8959
      @monysugardogs8959 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +21

      Right, it's scary to think of those that lack empathy and enjoy doing things like this, but it's absolutely, bone-chillingly terrifying to think of those who know exactly this, who think of the despair, the horror, the lack of understanding, and the betrayal that the animal is feeling in the moment and relish in it. That love it for just that, and continue to do it with smiles on their faces and glee in their hearts. I think that honestly there are so many similarities between these people and people who prey on children, more than we could ever know. Some people see the thrill of making something innocent and helpless rely solely on you just to defile it and desecrate that innocence and naiveite until it is no longer physically possible to do so, to be the highest order of pleasure, and that is maybe the most disgusting thing humanity has to offer.

    I consider myself a very tough and stoic person when it comes to hard times - illness, death, etc. This, though, had me crying from the electrical box. I have an elderly cat, who is 18 years old or so (she is a former stray I adopted when she came to the shelter under the TNR program running in my former home city. Her name is Nancy, and boy is she a Nancy Pants). I adopted her about 17 years ago because a bunch of people were adopting these tiny kittens, and I felt sorry no one would take the full grown cat. She wasn't full grown, just a month or two older than the other kittens, and huge. She grew bigger than I could easily carry. She is incredibly loyal. Through the seventeen years I have had her, I've been forced to move, sometimes up and down, hundreds of miles, in my state, and she has never run off. Once, when I had a seizure and the ambulance took me away, she snuck into my moms car when she ran back inside to grab her purse (she had already opened her car door) so when my mom took me home that night, she crawled into my lap and I pet her as she purred and we both fell asleep on the way home.
    Yes, the video, but also the reason this hit me so hard is... She is 17, 18 yo. I don't know how much time I have left with her. This vid, it made me so, so angry at these - well, they aren't people; to be human, you have to be humane - but these, these *predators* , especially the mention of the video involving the child, practically entrapping their mind, their soul, to this sick action, and memories, for the rest of their life - it made me so angry I wanted to pick up my phone and throw it away. And that's what we should do to people, especially ones the US has a say over, like that Texas couple - and throw them away in a deep, dark hole and never let them out.
    For further reading about cat torturers/killers getting caught but not getting their due, Google 'San Diego North County Cat Killer'. They still haven't found all the bodies.

      Sorry if I give you unwanted advice, I mean no harm. Cats salvia have a cleaning bacteria which is why they can clean themselves so well, hence they dont need baths and you can save up your own time. Claw trimming is only needed if the cat never learned to do it, for example came from the street, but with enough cat trees/stuff to scratch on its also not a problem. As long as the claws dont overgrow with the danger of getting themselves hurt. Some cats need baths because they struggle to or do not learn how to groom themselves. This can happen to cats with amputations, health concerns, obesity, hairball issues, allergies, old age… and sometimes a cat needs a bath because it came from a shelter or outside and it’s beyond grooming.
      But I agree. Unless the cat is covered in (something) it doesn’t need regular baths.

      1. I only trim the sharp tip. I always avoid the quick so no worries there. Cat nails grow in a cone shape so it's once ever 2 weeks I clip them.
      2. He's got medium length fur. Not overly short or overly long so I bath him to help shed his winter coat once a year or once more if he starts to smell because pee gets in his fur around his area. I avoid bathing unless nessesary. I regularly brush him too. C:

      In my country they get a lot of information off you about the conditions you have set up with the pet where it will be housed if you have food e.t.c they’re registered. It’s a long process to adopt a pet. I think most pets that are taken to be abused are taken off the street or from peoples yards. When I was younger in my family home we had to keep our small dog inside for a couple years when we weren’t home because people were breaking into yards to kidnap dogs for dog fighting. I think most animals who are abused aren’t adopted from reputable people-and they don’t usually pay money for them is my theory. I’m more worried about my dog being kidnapped than if people are adopting a pet for nefarious purposes-at least that’s how I feel in Australia. I don’t know if that helps you feel better. I’m sure you ask a lot of questions before you adopt out the pet. It’s so strict even for fish they ask lots of questions about your tank size and filters and other fish in the tank-they’ll refuse to adopt an animal to you if they’re not satisfied with your answers.

    Hey Stephanie! My name is Saniya, and I’m from Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 I’ve been following you for a year now and haven't missed a single episode from any of your three channels. Your voice and Mr. Mango’s comments have become so familiar and dear to me that my best friend is actually jealous. I've cried with you over the Sewon Farry tragedy, laughed with you over crazy celebrity stories from China, your and Mr. Mango's wedding vows made me sob and believe in love once again, and you made my heart break over Lee Yaram’s story. Your talent and empathy are what prompt me to ask for help.Women in Central Asia 🇰🇬🇰🇿🇺🇿🇹🇯 are facing a femicide crisis right now. There hasn’t been a week without news about murder, domestic violence, or assault for a long time now.Currently, the brother of a victim from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 who was brutally murdered by her own husband (ex-economy minister, which is very important) is fighting to get his only little sister the justice she deserves. He is not alone, though; all women from Central Asia have his back, but I’m afraid it’s not enough. We are living in a patriarchal and corrupt society where women’s voices, even if there are millions of them, are not as loud as rich men’s whispers to the government's ear. Yes, it loves money and loves men, but it also loves to look good in foreigners' eyes. This is a viral case, and if the murderer doesn’t get the punishment he deserves, other men will have carte blanche for violence. That’s why I’m asking you to help us, help all women from Central Asia get their justice because if we don’t act now, we never will.
    The ex-economy minister kuandyk bishimbayev beat his wife Saltanat Nukenova to death in his restaurant over 8 hours and left her there to die. He is a very powerful man who is trying to escape justice. It’s an ongoing case, and currently, he’s on trial for first-degree murder with aggravating factors and torture. Prior to that, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for bribery and corruption, but he was released in 2 years as he was granted parole due to a presidential pardon. He also allegedly ran over a child to death with a car. He is a narcissist, sociopath, and a very unlikable person. Very rude, but he knows how to manipulate and lie. His lawyers are aiming to reclassify this case as second-degree murder because there is video evidence of this monster beating Saltanat to death, and they know they can’t help him escape prison, but they can reduce his sentence, which is highly possible given his power, wealth, and alleged bribery of the jury and judge.Saltanat’s family and basically all women from Central Asia are fighting for justice.
    This case is an awful example of victim blaming and misogyny. The husband is trying to make it look like she was very drunk and had affairs before and after the wedding, which makes people believe that he had a reason to kill and torture her.
    Saltanat was a ray of sunshine who was only 31 years old and had her whole life ahead of her. She wanted to become a mother and live a happy life with her husband, but instead, throughout the year of their marriage, she was physically and emotionally abused.She had wonderful parents, a very loving brother, and a grandmother who, to this day, half a year after Saltanat’s death, has not been told that she was murdered. Her family thinks it will destroy her as she’s an elderly lady, and Saltanat was her favorite granddaughter; her heart might not take it well. Every time the family visits her, she asks about Saltanat, and I imagine she’s upset over the fact that Saltanat is no longer visiting or calling her.
    Saltanat was so good that the monster’s daughter from his previous marriage still tries to text and call her every time she gains access to her phone. This poor child says she misses her and can’t believe that her father could do such a thing.
    Stephanie, if you see this comment and want to look into this case l, here’s my instagram @saniyakarimm I can help

    We're all cat people in my family and every gathering we talk about how sweet and kind our cats are. How they can sense you're not feeling well and will lay near the area that's hurting. My mid 20ies were tough, I did the bare minimum and the rest of time laid in bed doing nothing at all. My cat would pounce around and call me to play every day - I don't know if I would have made it through without her, I never told anyone I'm struggling. She's in my lap right now, still taking care of me when I get sad.

      One of my cat died a week ago.
      She was my first cat's daughter, she never liked being hugged or snuggled but would never bite or scratch when I did so. She would run away when she saw me coming after to kiss her yet she would still always come and sit on my lap or lay right beside me to comfort me when I had breakdowns.
      They are just such precious little beings, it's impossible to even think that our own kind could torture and kill them.

For example, when she was talking about the incredibly tough job of those activists who had to sit through hours upon hours of footage watching it frame by frame just so they could have something to identify the perpetrators. I'm extremely thankful for those people that have literally sacrificed their mental health to try and get justice for those poor babies.
    I'm also thankful for Stephanie for talking about such hard topics, giving them the rightful importance, so that maybe laws and regulations could change some day.

    The last part of the video truly made me cry. It's so sweet what the students did for the cat. Honestly, it's so sad & rage-inducing that those people would hurt such innocent little adorable beings. Even if someone wanted to vent out their anger or stress, it doesn't make it right to hurt a cat or any other beings. They can literally do other things to vent like tell someone about it, seek help, draw, sing, scream at the beach, swim, do hobbies, scribble a paper, etc. Heck, they can even go punch a pillow if they wanted to, just don't hurt cats or other living beings. Sorry for this long paragraph, I really love cats so I got super emotional when watching this episode. Thank you Stephanie for shedding a light on this matter, I hope ur video can make the gov there handle this case more seriously. ❤

    As someone who went to university in China I can say quite a lot of students have this “hobby” and they don’t consider animals as live organisms on Earth.
    Even though in recent years there are more and more voices requesting animal protection laws (that literally not exist in China) to be more strict people minds seem to never change. Animals are indeed treated poorly in much higher rate compare to other countries where i lived till this day.
    Having pet in China is mortifying. While ordering pet food online most of vendors remove information what is inside from the parcel. Because there are plenty of people who use suringe to inject poison through the box to pet food and there were cases of death. You can easily check it by yourself by contacting any major pet food selling store on taobao.

    • @Loudumer
      @Loudumer 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

      Wow, I had no idea pets were so poorly thought of in China. I know in other countries , abusing animals (esp. rodents, dogs and monkeys) comes from a fear of disease, which then becomes a societal hatred of certain species, do you think it’s the same reasoning in China?

    • @Notyourcupoftea_
      @Notyourcupoftea_ 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      @@Loudumeri think it plays quite a big role. You clearly can see elderly people who are more conservative believe in bad luck and evil spirits that cats bring. My chinese family member several times faced it while selling apartment, some elderly people said the house has bad energy cause of innocent British shorthair cat that was living there! Lots of people think pets are dirty and don’t deserve to be treated well.
      Situation got better in recent years, more people raise concerns regarding pet protection laws and activists really try their best however it is still far away behind West. I went to school in Germany for 6 years and only once I heard of a guy who tor***ed animals. However during 4 years of study in China I saw at least once per month about students who caught stray animals and cut them in their dorms. And they don’t even really hide it! Once on we chat I saw pictures of poor dog being … in several parts and it broke my heart. Till now I can’t forget and wish to unseen it. And Universities do Nothing! In Germany that guy was kicked out next day, but in China they continued go to class like nothing happened. Only one student got expelled.
