We are considering this for a shower/bathtub, where there is a window and a lot of water damage in the old drywall from the window leaking from the outside. Our plan is to replace the window (we don't think we can match the siding to just fill it in) and then do this over the top to seal it from the shower. It would involve stripping out all the drywall on an exterior wall and replacing it with this.
When you say leave gaps, will that also create a water issue in the wall because of the shower? I learned of your product because someone did an unsolicited endorsement and mentioned they saw it in a car wash, so I'm sure there's a solution there.
I'm also thinking of putting the channel wall past the shower on both sides for storage. Are there more decorative hooks or shelves for indoor use (either third party or in your system)?
    Thanks!

Hey Kent! Thanks so much for considering Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard for your bathroom reno.
We actually have a complete technical guide about Installing Trusscore in Shower Applications. Here's the link to that for you to review: trusscore.com/resources/trusscore-shower-technical-guide.pdf. If you follow those steps you'll have a waterproof shower with a stylish design.
We also recommend you take a peak at our Bathrooms application webpage for more inspiration from other Trusscore customers who have renovated their spaces. trusscore.com/applications/bathrooms.html. Some have opted for using hooks with 3M Command Strips to mount onto the Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard product. Others have integrated with Trusscore SlatWall, for on the wall vertical storage up to 75 pounds per square foot. Learn more here about that product: trusscore.com/products/slatwall.html

Didn't all of your old videos show vertical installation of panels? Did the guidance change?

Hi! You're correct, we've traditionally recommended vertical installs for Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard. However, we now have updated our vertical method and have added a horizontal method to install Trusscore Wall&CeilingBoard, which is why we have updated our install guides. @@trusscore Thanks for the reply. I looked quickly at the updated install guide and I didn't see any obvious guidance for choosing between vertical and horizontal install beyond using vertical for high moisture environments. Other than that, are there any considerations?

@@YellowBunchofBananas Of course, we're happy to help! Other considerations could include design preference or also which orientation would result in the least amount of offcuts or waste of material. Let us know if you have any additional questions :)
