what about when you get to a corner and have to cut a piece to less than 16" wide?

We going backwards here. Pretty much trailer panelling with strapping every 16 inchs and corners. Would have to see it to believe it. I cant beleive brian is endorsing this stuff. They musta gave a mint. I guarantee you wont see it on any of his own builds!

Pssst! I’m using the grey for the interior walls of my houseboat so, yah it’s “pretty useless”. LOL

@@coastalcleaningandmaintena2884, sure, first it’s “the product is junk”; now it’s “Brian isn’t my favourite presenter”.
Like that who your favourite is makes any difference to what they get paid to advertise. I don’t have a favourite but I’m pretty sure they all protect their reputations by not endorsing junk.
You on the other hand probably know nothing about the product but express an opinion on the product and the presenter based on whether you get a woody from watching his videos. Seriously man, grow up.

But will it make the area look like a manufactured or trailer home?

A few questions. First, how are the seams managed? Drywall uses tape and mud to get a seamless finish. What about Trusscore? Second, why is it such a pain to paint? Not everyone will want white or gray (in a bedroom or livingroom, for example) and how can painting the panels possibly void a warranty? Third, if using this on outside walls and ceilings do you still need vapor barrier (I'd using sealant, of couse). Fourth, can one install baseboards and crown moulding and would the j-strips still be needed? Finally, how does this product compare to drywall for sound management?
    Thanks

Hello Mister Barager. Here the answers to your questions.
      1. Trusscore provides a comprehensive assortment of trims to meet all your project needs : top/bottom J trim, inside/outside rounded corners, window/door and snap-in trims. All of them will make installation a breeze for you by making the process quicker and easier.
      2. Panels come in a smooth, clean finish that is scratch, dent, and damage resistant. And because it’s PVC, there is some specific primer and paint appropriate for plastic. The warranty at this moment cannot be applied as a painted PVC panel is not original from the manufacture anymore.
      3. No you don’t need a vapor barrier. But, you will need a fire barrier panel on the dividing wall between garage and house, for example.
      4. If you install baseboards and crown mouldings, you won’t need J or Base trims. But, keep in mind that if you install your wood baseboards in a place where there is water, the wood could mold after a while.
      5. Trusscore is not consider as a sound management panel. If it's what you looking for, you need then to add a Sonopan panel.
      Thank you.

@@agricle_avenord I'm afraid this still doesn't answer the original question how are the seams managed are they visible? This is the most important thing for a lot of homeowners

The Seams are fine because these Panels are mostly used in Pool-Rooms or Garages for residential. You barely see them and it is still waterproof. No one is using this for Interior Partition Drywall; that's silly.

Hi M. Juneau, the planks are made of pvc. It is not recomended to paint it. If you do so, there is a way to do it, but will it stay great a long time? Not as long as letting it it's original color. The planks are available in white or grey.

You could, but is going to void the warranty. trusscore.com/resources/trusscore-wallceilingboard-painting-guidelines.pdf

Its plastic it cant be painted properly. You will be able to scratch it off with your fingernail. The best 200$ primer with another 200 top coat.

Dont waste your money. Im sure it comes in a variety of colors but the answer is NO. U get a hole. Your ripping the wall back to the hole replacing that panel then all the trim work has to go back. Thats if your house hasnt settled. Like a new build which it would have to be. You will lose money in the end.
