People really underestimate jordan a lot. Having more than 2 million refugees of a single people and still maintaining some sort of stability is no simple feat. The israeli/palestinian - jordanian border is one of the most stable in the region, with security forces mainly handling your average smuggling. Crazy to think that 10% of that amout of palestinian refugees managed to completely screw up southern lebanon(with outside influence, of course, but still) and paved the way for the strongest faction in the crumcling country.

Those refugees are Sunni Arabs and there is no real ethnic, and very little national, difference between them and the local Jordanian population. Jordanian, Syrian, Egyptian, and Palestinian Arabs are mostly all Sunni and have virtually no ethnic or religious differences.
Lebanon on the other hand is very diverse and between Christians, Sunni Muslims, Shia Muslims, and Druze there is no single majority, so any demographic change is significant and can have serious repercussions.
As a point of correction the strongest faction in Lebanon (Hezbollah) is Shia Muslim not Palestinian (who are mostly Sunni). In fact all Palestinian refugees in Lebanon who are Christian or Shia were given citizenship while Sunni Palestinians are still considered refugees despite almost all of them being born in Lebanon.

Wrong, I m Lebanese and the main cause to our Resistance forces mainly Hezbollah rising are the zionists themselves tajing advantage of that weak Chritsian Maronite state of Lebanon and casually jogging since the 50s-60s in Lebanob especially South Lebanon, don't be surprised when we from tbe South raised the Iranian flags instead of the lebanese before because the IR of Iran was the only nation to stand with us (and syrians too relatively with the reistsances in general) while "our OWN" "Lebanese" government left us for dead without any real action!! Even half of it was allied with the Zionists anyways... We people of Jabal Aamel (South Lebanon) don't care about ethnicity (altho we re original arabs from actual yemen) nor religion but we care about at least basic sense of humanity and also our quality education which we took with lots of hardship before at the times of our parents and theirs! No surprise we humiliated the Zionists in 2006 and from 1990 to 2000 before it.

And then during Byzantine rule, Judea was seized by the Rashidun caliphate. Its evident that the Jews have a strong claim. This is why Jordan chooses Israel over the Palestinians.
Arafat and his men tried to overthrow the government of King Hussein of Jordan. King Hussein was able to escape unhurt from the ambush. In retaliation King Hussein drove out the Palestinians with tanks to Lebanon.
When Iraq invaded Kuwait, the Palestinians collaborated with Saddam. After Kuwait was liberated 300,000 Palestinians were kicked out of Kuwait.
After the 9/11 Palestinians were cheering and celebrating in the streets of Gaza and the West Bank.
When Israel pulled out of Gaza what kind of gratitude did Israel received? Rockets!
Lebanon goes bankrupt. Thanks to Palestinians’ (Hezbollah) contribution.
Syria’s civil war had lost 600,000+ lives, displaced millions of Syrian citizens and unimaginable destructions. Thanks to Hezbollah’s help.

Interesting and thoughtful analysis. With a new coalition government about to be sworn in there should be a markedly better, constructive, and less rigidly ideologic group about to take over along with 4 members from an Arab party. In the US the reaction has been measured, but there can be little doubt that the new government will be far more welcome. Despite words of continued support for the Jordanian government there has nevertheless been a reduction in proposed foreign economic and military assistance by the Biden for the coming fiscal year starting in October. In recent public hearings on the proposed State Department budget there was no criticism of these reductions or support for long standing Jordanian positions regarding Palestinians in the West Bank,

This video is not giving the full picture and lets viewers get a faulty leaning viewpoint.
Jordanians stand for a hundred percent with Palestinians. Jordan government too. Difference is that the government has to play in the game of geopolitics and secure its safety of the state + Jordan leadership&establishment has a another very big incentive for this safety besides the unharming their people: it is king and royalty ruling + their friends/family in government/high positions. They will lose alot. This video makes it seem as if Jordan and Israel are somewhat friendly which is faaar from true. We know that Jordan and US have been through deep and long negotiations and what do we know what they discussed in there? Nothing. What if USA threatened with invasion/sanctions? Or Maybe they even said they will make sure Israel takes over Jordanian lands in a potential war? We dont know all this, but we can speculate. I personally believe the Jordan-Israel peace treaty was done under these circumstances, because Jordan was offered a very good deal and the other option was *probably* that USA would do something to destabilize Jordan or assassinate the King or similar. Ofcourse they would accept the deal, the deal was fair and wasnt favoring Israel or anything.
Either way, even if the video was trying it to describe more precisely, 11 minutes wouldnt be enough to give a clear understanding (just like with any ME conflict).

That's absolutely wrong, what democracy and rights r u talking about? I'm a Palestinian who's living under occupation, and we, and you know very well that we will be killed just for us being Palestinians, for expressing our opinion. Democracy? If u consider being attacked, killed, and ur houses is taken from u is a democracy, then yes, there's a democracy. U liers.

In order not to turn into another "Gaza".

For all who say Jordanian are Palestinian it’s actually opposite, according to statistics and DNA tests Palestinian are actually Jordanians. The once who claimed to be Palestinian in Jordan has cause lots of violence and terror in the past and thats why Jordan want to be on the right side of humans and to support Israel and better education.

If there where any Muslims that follow the example of the prophet and the like of the radshidun and sahaba Palestine would be free. But do they even know the legacy of their religion. What the Ummah lacks is Muslim men and women of action.

Don't you think Allah would be on your side if you would respect Israel's right to exist? After all there would be no Muslims if there were no Judaism.

You got it wrong. The arabs were made into phonystinians in june1964 by srafat abass and the kgb who owned the plan. Object was to make the phonies aboriginals so they could take the israeli land. Well that didn't happen but the propaganda mill like al jazeera pushed the palest. On and on. 57 yrs later its still.circulating as truth in the goebbels manner. Robert Spencer a scholar of islam researched the phonies and published a book called the palestinian delusion. Well yes the truth is still around even though the dummies still believe the horse buns. Eventually the fairy tales will dissappear and HELLO TRUTH!

@Abu Hussein Abdallah It a well known fact that when King Hussein expelled the P.L.O from Jordan in 1970 , the Tanks of Syria started to move toward the border with Jordan. Israel gathered forces to help Jordan and the Syrian had no choice but to retreat. Not talking about plots against the king which were discovered by Israel and the king was informed about it.
Why Israel had to be saved in the 50's? From whom? By whom?

I believe it's important to understand that the history and impact of different groups can be complex and nuanced. While some religious Jewish groups may seem unconventional or controversial, they do not represent all of Judaism. It's essential to recognize that there are many Jewish individuals who have made significant contributions to humanity.
There are approximately 15 million Jews worldwide, and they have been awarded over 200 Nobel Prizes. Each of these Nobel laureates has contributed valuable knowledge and advancements that have improved our lives and extended human longevity.
In contrast, there are over 2 billion Muslims globally, yet only two Nobel Prizes have been awarded in this context. This disparity highlights cultural differences and emphasizes the importance of valuing intellect and contributions to knowledge.
Let's remember that appreciating and supporting intellectual achievements is crucial for progress. The day we stop valuing and admiring intellect may indeed be the day of our decline
