Thanks for taking us places most of us probably will never get to. Love to see you go to Maysville, Kentucky to KBS miniature museum within the History Museum. It is fantastic. Also not far is the Dollhouse Museum and miniatures in Kentucky also.

I wasn’t going to watch because I saw the last video of this museum - so glad I watched anyway. Good video- fascinating shakers. I saw a few mom had /has. ...
I can’t imagine having a fuzzy shaker . I wonder how often that left people with fur in their food.

This place is amazing! It was your first video that you shared of them awhile back that made me plan a whole trip and go the place is just breathtaking to see that many in one area! Also not only is the admission super cheap but if you purchase any sets in the gift shop they will use the admission price towards it. Such a wholesome good people place!

Funny I was always taught salt had more holes in the shaker. Learned something new. That was really interesting. So many who would have thought. My Mom had a lot of chinese themed ones for some reason and I remember the Campbell soup kids ones. I think they were a promotional set. Thanks this was cool. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤

Jacob, do they still sell S&P shakers there? When I was a kid, it was always salt that had the most holes, as people generally used more salt than pepper. It’s not just that salt is “bad” now, there has also been a cultural shift - people prefer the food with more “spiciness”.

The Trylon and Perisphere were two monumental modernistic structures designed by architects Wallace Harrison and J. Andre Fouilhoux that were together known as the Theme Center of the 1939 New York World's Fair. The Perisphere was a tremendous sphere, 180 feet in diameter, connected to the 610-foot (190 m) spire-shaped Trylon by what was at the time the world's longest escalator. The Perisphere housed a diorama by Henry Dreyfuss called Democracity which, in keeping with the fair's theme "The World of Tomorrow", depicted a utopian city-of-the-future. The interior display was viewed from above on a moving sidewalk, while a multi-image slide presentation was projected on the dome of the sphere. After exiting the Perisphere, visitors descended to ground level on the third element of the Theme Center, the Helicline, a 950-foot-long (290 m) spiral ramp that partially encircled the Perisphere.
