There's way too much ENTITLEMENT in Elden Ring. Nowadays, people download Elden Ring, Go to the POSTS and IMMEDIATELY start begging for GEAR , RUNES, ARMOR and To be RUNE BOOSTED TO 713. While HAVING NO IDEA how to even play their "First Ever so called Souls Game". Then they come to Bloodborne . Now, suffer in silence. You can totally tell Elden Ring players on Bloodborne and in Dark Souls III . Elden Ring Players will just stand there EXPECTING you to FULLY CLEAR THEIR BOSSES.
Elden Ring could technically be considered the easiest fromsoftware game, primarily due to the open world aspect, allowing the player to leave a difficult fight and location and come back when they are stronger. Not to mention the huge variety of tools, magic being OP if done right and just many more useful mechanics in general, like shields finally being viable due to fromsoftware coming up with the counter mechanic. However, the sheer amount of features, mechanics, items and possibilities can be extremely overwhelming to a complete noob of fromsoft games who doesn't know the core mechanics, for example I made my gf play elden ring recently and she got really overwhelmed. I feel like elden ring is way easier if you already have experience with the core mechanics of souls games. I'd also argue that Bloodborne isn't that hard. Don't get me wrong, technically every fromsoft game is hard. Im not calling it easy. But, Bloodborne is the only game that rewards the player for playing risky, high risk high reward, smacking back after getting smacked can actually be viable, due to the unique vampirism system, while in other games you'd get punished for not playing safe and waiting for an opening. The only thing that makes bloodborne hard in a way, would be needing to grind for heals and bullets, and long run backs to boss fights, I wouldn't call this hard tho, just tedious.
Yeah exactly! I love bloodborne, it became my new favourite game of all time after playing it for the first time and making these videos (big dark souls nerd). But one of the things that really bothers me is the really long runs to some of the bossfights due to the lack of lamps. It isn't challenging, it's just tedious in terms of time. I get that this is one of their older titles tho when they were still figuring things out and trying new things. You should check out my other bloodborne/soulsborne videos, they are just as good!😁
my toxic trait is thinking I could beat Bloodborne since it looks easy because it's fast paced from the get go... but I only think that because I saw Jacksepticeye play, and he is what one could call a bloodborne veteran so he made it look far easier than it really is. I'd get destroyed.
I can see exactly why you feel that way, honestly I feel the same way. Also, might be due to me watching Jacksepticeye, I grew up in Ireland so my childhood was watching his videos lmao. I think the main reason why bloodborne allows you to literally fly through the game with fast pace tho, is the unique vampirism system, where if you lose health you have a short window to get health back by attacking. It's basically the only souls game that rewards you for playing risky, aggressive, carelessly, and balls deep. So basically, you can beat most of the game by luck, determination or just dumb stubbornness lmao, which I love. Other souls games force you to be patient, wait for an opening, learn attack patterns etc. This is why Bloodborne is my new fave souls game. @ScuffedOnes I'll Give Them a go in due time. In school rn and got upcoming exams, so might use them to destress. Honestly, I love those "high risk, high/decent reward" games, especially with adhd it makes those games all the better. Sure, games like DS 1-3 are aight, but my fave games are the risk games. Playing fast paced is my favorite, and particularly in survival games like Deadspace 2 and Resident Evil, sure you can do as the game intends but when you play fast? You are an absolute *monster* . I hope they make a bloodborne 2 or a remake in the future for new gen consoles because man... that'd be great. Good video man

Yeah I agree. Elden Ring is technically the easiest due to it being open world, the first game to give the option of choosing your encounters, being able to go anywhere and come back later to a difficult area or boss when you're stronger makes it way easier than the rest imo. Sekiro however literally forcing you to Parry, the hardest souls mechanic, sounds like pure hell too which probably makes it the hardest🤣 You should check out my other bloodborne videos, they are just as good!😁

I think it's the hardest at the start because it has a very steep learning curve. Most souls players have to get used to the fast paced playstyle of the game, which awards an aggressive risky playstyle due to the vampirism/rally system, while souls players are used to playing it slow and safe and waiting for openings. Also getting used to parries being easy and op due to big windows and strong damage can be tough because souls players are brainwashed into thinking that parrying is the most complex mechanic. Also getting used to the fact that heals and bullets are limited, and that grinding may be needed can be tough too. But eventually, once you get used to everything the game indeed does become the easiest fromsoftware game. Its unfortunate tho because many people don't reach that point and give up on the game.
