Thank you very much Irv, your videos are always inspirational and the way you teach (the way to do it). I've been a scuba diving instructor and I try to teach my students the same way you teach us. I would like to meet you in person on day, as I can tell how such an amazing person you are. Big hug from Portugal.

This method is also amazing to create customized lettering or logos. You just have to print the phrase/word, spread some SMD LED´s and then fill the inner part of the prints with Epoxy resin, coloured/frosted are the best. Thank you for this video, please never stop doing them.

Wooden cutting boards generally handle small nicks and cuts better than plastic ones.
Other than that, I agree totally with your breakdown.

Can you use your platform to create stamps and embossers?

    Good day.
Thank you so much your video help this past year.
I’m having trouble downloading and processing a cookie cutter.
I am able to bring up my svg Perrypiratecookie cutter under the preview of the cookie cutter. (I have adjusted and saved the dimensions) But when I generate the new cutter it processes as the rabbit.
What am I missing. I haven’t been able to see my process mistake.
    Thank you.

Dear Irv, this is amazing! I tried this out with my new 3D printer, just in time for the holidays! I am so sad to see that the website is however shutting down. I do have two questions:
    1) Re: custom models: I noticed the template rounds sharp edges in the shape (say if I have a star with sharp corners, this template changes my original svg file and now I get a star with rounded corners). Still nice, but unexpected. Is there a way to disable this option?
    2) Re: website service: I just joined the 3D printer community and as a n00b, i found your videos very useful! since the service will be shutting down, will there be another way to contact you/the service for support and questions?

I have tried uploading an SVG image several times, from my download file. I have doubled and trippled checked that the "Please enter a file to upload below" has been selected... I am able to see the image in the "Preview box, but once I hit the "Generate" button and retrieve the image once completed, it's Always completes the image of a Rabbit.... no mater what image I have saved and sent to be completed...

Ok the best option is this, print your design, then use food grade silicone then use food grade 2 part resin. now you should be good. I do believe.👍
Edit: Or you could coat the print in 2 part food grade resin.

Hi Irv, I’m totally new to 3D printing and want to make pottery clay cutters from my own drawings. Question… can I modify the height of the cutting wall? Eg say I want it to be 15mm high? Also, I need to create inserts that fit within the cutter, eg say I make a round cutter and want to create a round insert plate so that I can push the cut clay out from inside the inside without using my fingers to avoid finger prints and thus fussy clean up. TY

I was so excited to try this but the cookie cutter did not save and kept saving the rabbit. I followed the instructions exactly as indicated. And after a few tries the website no longer would let me move forward because it required an upgrade to my membership:( disappointed.

Hygiene is not even a factor on a washed cookie cutter. I see the guys outside my house digging in the weekly refuse bins every week and hauling out the old food. Their constitutions must be amazing as the same ones are there almost every week. Dangerous old food is not doughy or plant based I don't think. Fish or chicken is the big danger after staying out of the refrigerator for too long. PETG can be printed pretty much water proof anyway.
Even then, I was in an African country up north from us and they used an old corrugated zink roof sheet to sell their raw meat daily. The sheet iron was never washed and was black ! Theses guys survived and COVID hardly affected Africa, despite the people refusing to wear masks or to do social distancing.
    🤣🤣🤣
