Currently waiting for my kronos to arrive in the mail (along with things like a T-priming handle) but when I looked at FoamTechnician's Etsy store, the only bundles available were the ones with 6-round speed loaders, Thus drawing me here. I didn't realize how easy it would be to mod, and will make my sister's stock kronos look like a jolt when I'm done with mine. (too bad they didn't have phantom corps available lol) Anyways thanks for the tutorial!
I gotta admit, I got a little nervous when I got the follower opening up nice and wide, but when I assembled the blaster the follower was hitting the front of the gun, which I thought would prevent it from opening far enough. But, when I started loading rounds, all 6 went in just fine. I'm not sure why it's working but it's working. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the awesome mod idea! Brilliant! (...and usually I don't approve of "first" comments, but I'll make an exception in your case. I mean, this video wouldn't have happened without you.)
1:40 seeing the open case of the kronos makes me think of how the internals could be used in a rival rifle, you could extend the mag tube more and extend the barrel for more power from the compressed air
Hi i did this mod to two blasters..... i planned to make a matched pair.....i didnt put k26 in either blaster yet but i did fill the base of piston with 5 min epoxy to fill the void.... both blasters feed fine in the magazine tubes....one shoots fine but one blaster has balls getting stuck at the front of the barrel....sometimes it shoots fine.... any ideas?
I have one question for you about this. In the standard setup, the stem of the follower doesn't come out past the end of the channel it runs through on the tube, but with the mod complete, it appears to come all the way out of the channel it's supposed to run through. Do you have any trouble with it getting caught on the end of the tube when fully loaded, or is there so little wiggle that it doesn't happen?
matt sully I haven't noticed any issues, but if you're concerned you could perhaps bevel the opening of the channel a bit, so that the follower is less likely to snag. I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing your concern, either, though.
I was trying to do this mod, and the torsion spring that is attached to the follower that pusher the balls up and into the plunger tube came out and I cannot figure out how to get it back in. Please help me.
Has anyone tried just simply using what ever size piping fits rival rounds nicely, and attaching it to the bottom with a weak but long spring to make it have a long stick poking out of the bottom of the gun to make it have like a 20 round internal magazine? you'd obviously have to have an endcap on it to keep the spring from just falling out the bottom (duh). But also using a separator to push the rounds up the tube...
What Chaylo made was horizontal, I am talking about vertical, and it would essentially cut off the orange thing that normally holds the balls and replaces it going vertical and you'd have to cut a hole in the bottom of the gun for a decent ammount but it would hold enough to just be good for a pistol round or something...
What if you just took a pvc pipe and cut of the part of the internal magazine that bends upward and attacked the pipe and it like extended out of the gun and instead of a rotating thing to push the balls its a sliding thing
Dont recall the exact numbers (being two years ago), but it brought the Kronos up to or above the *expected* Rival performance. Seems like it was maybe 90fps stock, and the Apollo spring brought it to 110-115 or so. Not crazy, but made it respectable. Definitely good bang for the buck if you've got a busted Apollo lying around.
Cjfedler 327 lol, I was going to keep the prototype under wraps until I had thoroughly flogged it and reported my findings to the creator, but I had to get this mod out to the community. It was too good not to share. However, I should have info on that mystery piece sometime next week.
酒井 忠次 【 京なふ 】 the slide grip? It's a prototype piece I'm testing for a friend. Once the design is finalized and ready for production, I'll have a video with all the necessary info to purchase one.
"This doesn't work properly, you failed to show what it looks like with all 6 while open. You'll jam the front end of that little follower piece into the front of the muzzle housing putting immense stress on the now weakened part. I had to purchase another one because of this. It's just not meant to have 6 bullets."

Anyways thanks for the tutorial!
If only I had like... 2 square feet of open space in my work space. The things I could do
Took me 30 minutes to grind it down with a file. And an hour and a half to get all the pieces back in😂
But it works.
Dremels are great lol
Now it’s a rival strongarm. I love this, and will be buying one just to do this mod. Thanks

I just successfully did this mod to my Kronos. I used snips and a knife and went slow. It's a little squeeze, but it works flawlessly! No jam.
The Kronos is full of suprises:)
I was listening to eminence front while watching this, when he unscrewed the gun the main riff started
Thank you very much. I did it and it work so well... Your video is so good.
1:40 seeing the open case of the kronos makes me think of how the internals could be used in a rival rifle, you could extend the mag tube more and extend the barrel for more power from the compressed air
Or you could do the KronoMag brass breech, which basically turns it into a rifle... I've even seen people integrate stocks on them.
beautiful, just got one of these. Can't wait to crack it open
@everyone the grip he used is a Grihas priming handle that compensates for the already uncomfortable prime
thank you!
Every round counts
Best gun ever 🤩
I personally love the Kronos thx 😃
Hey, Mister Nathan really nice vid and really helped me, i was wonder at 7:00 where did you get the grip on the right kronos?
nvm i found it

dude, you didn't show how to put the follower spring back on--that's kind of important
I'm having the same issue
Yeah, mine just fell off while doing this mod as well...

For speedloaders, you can use the Jupiter's speed loader

Bleach Boy Captain Xavier got 17 in this

Bleach Boy I mean u could do it but I think your better off horizontal for aesthetics sake
And holstering
Look it’s a picture of a acoustic child
I'm going to have to try this.
Going to try it today!
Nice mod, subbed!
Watching this video, I did what you did and I got it to work. Thank you for this.
TY i have a 6 shot now. great Mod to do..

What size bit did you use for the Dremel?
Apollo spring? Does it give a noticeable improvement? If it does, I'm definitely going to take my Apollo apart and toss the spring in my Kronos.

@@MisterNathan Interesting. My Apollo isn't broken but I really have no use for it, think I'll give that a try tomorrow. Thanks!
Could I use my Apollo spring in the Kronos with of cutting the spring
Max D Yup, you're good. Mine was an exact drop in. If anything, I could even use a bit of a spring spacer.
I have a Apollo spring but I’m thinking a k25 would be nice too
It will be better to also cut some parts of the front piece
Nice mod, i'm totally going to do it to my own. And where did you get the priming handle for that one kronos?
Cjfedler 327 Oh that grip?
Well, that's a secret to be revealed later, dear viewer...
Stay tuned!
Well Jeez, be such a huge tease why don't you

Sweet, i can't wait!!
I hate to sound like i'm bugging, but any word or info on that prototype piece?
Where did you get the top priming bar???
What’s that grip you have on the prime?
That Nintenja You Know Ahh, yes. That's a prototype piece, to be reviewed later.
Another story, for another time...
Mister Nathan you temptress.
So basically just sand down that little curve more?
Quite a bit more (but not too much), and also might want to make a bit of clearance on the back of the muzzle plate, as well.
would you be able to connect pvc to the end for more capacity
Not without redesigning the whole follower assembly.
does this work with the door delete mod?
very cool
Where can I buy Kronos hand guard parts? I am very interested.

thank you so much !
Etsy.com
Yes
I can put 6 rounds in it without the mod
Interesting...hmmmm....(looks at Kronos) I MUST DO IT
Treecko_Gamer02 same
Gavin G/mr bones JUST DO IT,MUST DO IT
like if you noticed the containment crew sticker on the left side
Did not work for me
Why... it’s only 1 extra round lol
It's a 17% increase in Capacity. On such a small scale, the marginal increases are greater.
All that work for one extra round? No worded.
Why didn't Hasbro just do this in the first place. THE FOOLS!!!!!

Why did you add quotation marks
“I hate when people think they need quotation marks in their comments”
