this video quite literally saved my Helios, its unthinkable every other part in it is easily accessible, you can even get out the spring out of the plunger tube extremely easily, you just need to be moderately strong, you dont even have to use any tools, but the single part that can break and lock up entire blaster is permanently in it ._. thank you, NerfSquad501, if not you, i would have had an overpriced piece of plastic on a shelf
I found out that one way to trigger the primer being stuck in the back position is because of dual priming. Something that you could do in the predecessor, the appolo, to load more balls in the chamber is a direct cause in the helios for causing the gun to lock. I did find a work around though, which is a bit more in depth than what you said about locking the ratchet in the up position. I removed the lock that prevents thetrigger from being pulled when primed back. Now, if i get a jam and have to dual prime to get the jam door open, im not stuck with a broken gun. I sinply fire to release the bolt, reprime it, and it slides right back, ready to fire.

It's a sweet upgrade too. It hits almost as hard as my Kronos that chrono'd at 135fps. This just went from a ok with good stock performance to an excellent, more fun blaster with some real blast to it!

(also first mod) but i realized you didn't remove the double prime lock. its the little thing below the pump with a spring and switch, lets you prime a second time for a 2nd ball in 1 fire. neat trick for shotgun fire. probably not worth mentioning anymore, but its there.
Question. My son has this same model. How do we swap the handle where you rack it to put a round in the chamber. From left of Gunn to the right. Or do we have to open the gun up? Need help
I opened mine and immediately all of the partys exploded all over my room and i managed to put it back together but now its broken and i bought it yeasterday

Hi! this was very informative. I just wanted to know, is there a reason for not removing the air restrictor? You could always add foam at the end of the plunger to soften the blow(especially with a K26 installed)
With this style of blaster (rival) the AR doesn't really affect the performance. It really just protects the plunger rod and head. removing this would sacrifice protection for a very minimal gain if any.

I got an Apollo. Hopefully someday a mod for the Helios is possible. I got both blasters now.

San Sansan you do not need to open the blaster up, you can just read the instructions that come with the Helios.

That is really weird! Maybe the safety is not up all the way.
I did try that, it seems to be a bit better when I'm pushing it all the way up. I might open it up and see if anything's out of place

About one coil shorter than the stock spring. Sorry I am not with the blaster right now or I would give the amount of coils!
What is a k26 for
It's a spring to increase range
The seal is fine the ar is not making a good seal and it is not the best idea to dry fire these blasters for that very reason
