I got an SR5 and I'm getting between 26 and 31mpg average on the whole tank when I do my very best to save gas on my way to and from work which is 50mi both ways. If I'm doing city driving, it's around 20-27mpg
TBH, all of these vehicles have hiccups when looking at quality. I don't care which model one buys. I've owned the complete gambit of trucks. From my experience! The three worst trucks I ever owned were the 2000 Dodge Ram, 2006 Honda Ridgeline and a 2021 Nissan Titan PRO4X. They spent more time at the dealership than my garage......
I think Americans dont get it, the cost of everything is up worlwide. Canada they sell the civic for 40g or more, this is also in Europe. Even ford Maverick has gone up $7000 from it base price in the usa . In Canada they sell the Maverck for over 40 to 50g, and much higher. Gladiator sell for 74 to 130, So the tacoma is better buy
Went with a new Tacoma...no brainer. A truck that looks like a truck and not a crossover with a bed, a power train from this decade with better performance and fuel efficiency, a suspension setup from this century and bit off an old-west stagecoach, most comfortable seats in the segment, a backup camera I can see what it's showing.....Nissan is partying like it's 1999.
@@Land_Raverfrontier is a cheaper truck, more value truck, not a better one. Doesn't do anything better than the Tacoma. Just because you got value don't act like it's a better one
The off road buttons location is not a good place. My kids would be turning it on accidentally along with my wife’s purse. They need to learn from Jeep and keep them in an off road only location on the dash.
The Tacoma is such a disappointment 😁 I knew it would happen. I knew Toyota would underwhelm in the real world. Once again you all failed to prove your favorite Toyota hater wrong 😂
I saw a TRD Pro in my neighborhood. Double Cab long bed. Red paint. Looked really good. They should offer the 4.0L V6 the 4Runner had. That 4 cylinder is a real let down.
@theirthereandtheyre2947 4.0L is over 20 years old. Toyota had to update their engines because they were the only manufacturer to drop MPGs over the past 5 years per CAFE. No chance of getting older engines back.
They brought back the stick for Toyota trucks now. Nice!

I maybe in the market but am concerned about Toyotas quality now.
the tacoma in 24 is still amazing

Wow, boy, everyone brags on the Frontiers. Glad to hear real feedback.

Well said
Very expensive, since the base TRD off ROad comes bare almost obligated to get a package which raises the price quite a bit
It’s tiny 18 gal fuel tank and resulting limited range, particularly if towing or hauling, is a let down.
When the video cut to that back seat view, I spit my drink out! For that much $$..? Hard pass friends
Dealerships around me have 30-40 Tacoma’s onhand because no one is buying them. Dumb move getting rid of the V6 for a Turbo 4.
Went with a new Frontier...no brainer. Less money, more truck, made in America, V6, more comfortable cab...................Toyota is dreaming

Frontier is a better truck and you don't have to hide the fact that something went wrong with it one day like the Toyota owners.

Do they pump the sound of a Maytag when you hit it? Imagine paying 55k+ for that? 😂😂
I heard they are having a lot of issues with axles breaking and the transmission failing. Toyota has become the new Chevy.
Actually the quality gap has narrowed. Chevy COlorady engine is very reliable, and cheaper
@@josejoglar5887 well I have a 2019 traverse high country and that thing is such a POS! So many issues I’m suing Chevrolet

I didn't know Freddy Krueger was doing car reviews now

Expensive GARBAGE!!!!!!! Bring the V6 back Toyota!!!!!
Yeah, Toyota! How dare you give us a more powerful and more efficient powertrain! Keep us in last decade! 🙄
Everyone wants the neck breaking performance of the sienna in an overpriced midsized. Bring back the 3.5.
They can't, emission laws . Unless you vote, you next car is electric
With blowing transmission and low quality craftsmanship, that is a no no to me!😂😂😂
