    Without a doubt, this is the BEST wax I've ever used. It's incredible.

    I bought this stuff right after it came out so I could try it - I love trying various waxes. I think it's easy to work with, smells great (grape?), doesn't stain plastic trim, makes my paint very glossy and lasts 3-4 months. It use it on my daily driver that lives outside in the desert sun. I am very happy with it.

      Do you use any toppers to maintain?

    Sometimes it helps to use a damp microfibre cloth first followed by a dry microfibre for final buff

    Great content.Just to make sure this can be applied on top of applied coating?

    • @PurcellsProDetail

      Yeah I mentioned that I’ve buffed out most of the car due to scratches etc so the previous coating is basically non existent. Sorry for not being more clear!

      Thanks for the reply. I personally use this product and am very satisfied with the results, but I was not sure to answer the client's interrogation, lol?

    I do like a wax paste. Something satisfying about applying it.

    Been using this a while, so while the application and removal is simple it doesn't really last unlike Fusso Coat.

      I appreciate the input! Fusso coat is great stuff. Hopefully it lasts a little while!

      Collinite 476s is another durable paste wax. It has been around for awhile. And, has very few complaints.
      The complaint is that you have to work to apply it..

    @Mark-7ZK 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    That's not a foam applicator, you are using a micro fibre applicator.

    • @PurcellsProDetail

      The inside of it is foam haha but thanks appreciate the clarification

  • @paulgerrard9227

    Its incredibly forgiving and doesnt mark, stain rubber or affect glass and plastics and is easy to hand apply and buff off. It comes with a decent foam applicator so the fabric foam in this video is unnecessary

      This was an old jar that sat for almost a year that I never touched until the video. It also never came with an applicator

    I like the product, but find it tough to wipe off, very tacky. In comparison to meguires liquid gold wax, is night and day for wipe off, although i understand durability differences.
    Waxing a full size truck with this stuff is a CHORE

    • @PurcellsProDetail

      Definitely! Definitely very tacky.
      Unpleasant application process but from what I remember it did last a decent amount of time

    Great video. how would you use this in combination with Turtle Wax's Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating. Would you use this one as a topper to the HS Spray Coating? or this one as a base and then top it with the HS Spray Coating?

      I use TW flex wax as base coat . 2nd coat is paste wax. Awaxing results 🎉

    Your having a problem removing it because you put way too much on the applicator. Thin coat, smaller sections. Even those who apply carnauba wax know this. I have this exact wax and following the directions is always a good idea. You can not over apply on the entire hood or it will take many cloths to fully remove and buff it. You may even have to use a slightly damp microfiber to remove some of the haze from the over-application.

      @PurcellsProDetail  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Appreciate the feedback. I figured I’d apply it the same way I’ve applied any paste wax for the past 25 years. It was also a very old bottle so it was a bit dried up. I also think they discontinued the production of this stuff so most remaining containers are old and will be more dry.
      I’m glad you got great results with this wax it was definitely good quality

  • @seabreezeof
    @seabreezeof หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Tom, you used way to much of the wax, I can do a SUV including all glass with this wax in 1 hour with machine, start to finish, use a small putty knife to put the wax on your pad, and a bonnet to remove. Easy Peasy. Great Gloss and has a great smell like Cherries/Grape.. For maintenance wash use TW Hybrid Pure Wash, loads of lublicity, and TW Hybrid Graphen Flex as a drying aid. In between hit it with TW Hybrid Pure Shine Misting Detailer. For best results do a full decon, and polish prior to applying the TW Ceramic Graphene Paste Wax, you wont be disappointed.

      To be honest it was an old can that sat for a while before applying and I think that had an impact on my application process.
      I think I might want to buy another jar and give it another go!

    Bought a jar of this from Turtle Wax direct. Received the order 5 days later. The jar of wax that they sent me was over 2 years old with a finger mark in the wax. The wax has a shelf life of 2-4 years so the product they sent me is either expired or partially expired. I don’t understand why they still have 2 year old product in their inventory to ship to customers. Tried to call Turtle Wax at the number on their website. Calls go directly to an answering service, NOT TURTLE WAX. Answering service took my info and said someone from Turtle Wax would be in touch within 1 business day. 3 calls later, still waiting for Turtle Wax to contact me. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen from a major car product company. I’m going Back to Meguiars products. They have an excellent and responsive customer service department. Never again patronizing Turtle Wax or buying any of their products.

      Hey I bought mine off the shelf and it was the same deal I sent them a email and they never emailed me back. I will say though I’m sure the product is fine. There’s normally quite a bit of overhead built into an expiration date. If there is even one which I do not believe there is an expiration date on the wax. I understand them being salty about not messaging us back but honestly I’ve use the product multiple times and it’s just fine.

    how long is the cure time before one buffs...?

    • @thetechlibrarian
      @thetechlibrarian ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2-5 mins depends on outside temps etc etc in my experience it doesn’t change drastically when it flashes like some wax’s it’s kinda tacky no matter what

    • @kennethchan6815
      @kennethchan6815 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thetechlibrarian tks...i really dislike waiting from 5 to 20mins for various paste wax...it is a waste of time...3 to 5 mins is pretty good...so the best bet is when it is windy...it gets cured faster...if the wind is still and is in a sheltered area away from the sunshine perhaps at night...3 to 5mins should be ok i guess...

    • @kennethchan6815
      @kennethchan6815 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thetechlibrarian in a way...when it is overly applied on the polishing pad before applications...the thick layer of wax is pretty tough to buff off...😂

    • @paulgerrard9227

      10 mins but cool temp may be longer. It doesnt dry out so 25min later is not different even in heat. Best applied in shade however.

    woof…turtle wax is a great company family owned then and now, never sold out to a soulless conglomerate, enthusiasts and pro’s both use their stuff. and waxing isn’t dead, it’s an up close and personal therapeutic process for car lovers, definitely not intended for super longevity just like all paste waxes, and not very practical for a detailing business…oooof, learn your products and processes before filming a biased option piece for more subs….good luck 👍🏽

      So does that mean you *are* a fan of all that overly-priced carnuaba sluffing or melting off when the surface temperature of your car reaches 180 degrees in the hot summer?
