@@WopDaBarber999 yeah, out there in youtube, i forgot which channel it was that showed it, one of the pressure washing channels. If you look at your pw while its running, you will see a valve open and blow off water when your not pulling on trigger for a period of time. You can run a ¼ hose from there into your buffer tank. Easy peasy.
@@bradlwykfulbright this is true for gas power pressure washer only. On electric pressure washer there’s no pressure release valve. From my understanding the electric pressure system completely turns off suction of its internal pump. So you can’t damage your electric pressure. The problem only exist on the water pump creating pressure. You can put a extension electric outlet that has an on and off remote like a Car key remote to shut it down. So that special extension with remote will be in your generator. You then connect the water pumps male plug to it. Simple.
@@pandassudsnshine4125 The transfer pump is what burns out. I got a $100 ryobi one and didn't have an overflow line on it and it burned out before I could rinse all 4 wheels off. Basically get a second hose splitter like in the video and send one to the pressure washer and one back into the tank.

great job explaining!! not 20 minutes long 👍🏼 was on the fence about switching gas to electric pressure washer but obviously the shit works great thank you!!
I have been gravity feeding my pressure washers from my water tank for over for 6 years. Never had an issue. I have both a gas and electric pressure washer. Models are HONDA GX200 and the Kranzle K1622TS 1600. You have to ensure your tank is up a little higher than your pressure washer. Easy peazy : ) Also, I have never had to buy a new pump or pressure washer. Have had these same models for a long time and they get used every day 5 days a week. BUT I have recently gave my Honda away now I just use the Kränzle K1622TS 1600's they are fantastic for detailing vehicles!
Bruh thanks a lot for this. I have been trying to figure out how to get the water to my pressure washer a lot faster. Thanks man great video. I subscribed as well.
Dude thats an awesome video .Thats exactly the setup I need .I have a 3000 gas pressure washer and we need to run it where there is no electricity .They make this pump in dc battery powered .Going to harbor freight to buy it.cannot wait to try it out. Thanks bud
Exactly the video I was looking for. I was wondering if this would work. I have the same pump and wondered if it would keep up and not burn out. I assume it's still working fine?
Great video Bruh, I'm just setting up my rig and looking for the best simple solutions. I have a question. I have a paxcess electric pressure washer and I can't get the info on what size hose or adapters to buy that will allow me to use a longer hose and other accessories. I bought the most common size suggested M22 14mm 1/4 in male adapter. It was too big for the female connection to my Paxcess 2300 1.8gal Per min unit. Can you help? trying to get a 50ft hose, foam Cannon & short gun set up Thanks
I use an on demand water pump from my IBC tote to my pressure washer. not sure how long your pump would last or burn up if not always water running through it
Hey dream clean mobile great video. You can get a similar pump that is 12v DC and wire it to the trailer and make it run both directions to fill or empty the tank. I could tell you the wiring if you needed it. I am about to build a small setup myself
With the pump attached? Unless it’s a bad pump the pump shouldn’t stop pushing water. Here’s how I would diagnose I would first attach the pump to the tank to where water could enter into the pump and plug it in to turn it on. And watch the water come out the opposite end . If you have a steady flow of constant pressure you know the pump is doing it’s job and it’s something on the pressure washer side You can check pressure washer by plugging it into a water connect from the house and see if your losing pressure. Also check on how long your hoses are coming to and from the pump. It may be pushing but loses pressure as it goes through the hoses
@@dreamcleanmobiledetailing i got it from tank to small hose to pump cut it on and it's coming out at a good rate maybe my hose is to long on the end hooking to pressure washer. It'll run good and then seem to run out of water after a few seconds
Was thinking on using this but what I come to find is this works great but has no turn of it on switch as of now I’m looking at some that once you turn off the water it dumps down once it doesn’t sense any and some claim or say to safe to run dry so I will know next couple weeks how it goes for me haven’t seen any videos like this other than you my guy so maybe I’ll make one to help people out aswell
My cap was already on the tank when I purchased it. But if you go to your nearest plumbing retail store they can outfit your tank for you with the right fittings
So when the pump is on, is it building pressure in the line? or is it in kinda like a neutral mode waiting for the trigger to be squeezed? Wondering how long this pump has lasted you so far.
It running continuously but i use a gas pressure washer that has a release valve so if its just too much pressure. the pressure washer will release it. but there's never a delay when i squeeze the trigger
i have a community to pressure wash, my question is where can i connect the pump to get power to it? driving an F150 2019 and have an outlet inside my truck..but not sure if i have to run the truck which would drain the gas a lot...
What’s up man, I’ve gotten the same setup as you with the water pump and electric pressure washer and I’m having problem with the consistent water pressure coming out the electric pressure washer. It’s barely coming out and I was wonder what I need to do to have the consistent power
Are the hoses coming to and from your pump too long? The shorter the better If you connect the pump to the tank and leave the outlet hose open (not connected to the pressure washer) plug the pump up and if water comes out strong it’s the pressure washer. If not then you need to check your hoses if they aren’t super long you have a issue with your pump. Unless your water source is sitting on a crazy incline or something
i have no idea what that exact piece is. what i typically do is take my tanks to the nearest plumbing retail store and have them look at it and they can usually provide me with the best fittings

Extra tip for ya: run an overflow line back into your tank, for when you let off trigger. Prolongs life of pump and pressure washer even more.

Is there a video for that?

With a 4K psi with 4gpm, should I buy that harbor freight transfer pump?
Can these pump be used with a 4gpm pressure washer?
Very nice i may have to buy me a water pump. I try to gravity feed it but it takes quite a while to prime.
this gives you almost instant access to water from your pressure washer
wise as the old indeed goodness be with you my brother

Love it! Gonna give this a try! Is the water just gravity fed into the pump you got at harbor freight?
No the pump pulls the water out of the tank and pushes it to the pressure washer as well
I would put a Y between the PUMP and the PW and have it recirculate when you aren't using. My same pump gets hot when not in use.
