Egyptian history always amazes me, especially when new discoveries were discovered. Honestly, giving me endless curiosity about what the archaeologist will be revealing next 🤔
i really want to see everything been discovered but of course we wont live enough to see that. 3000 years of history and buildings would take hunderds of years to discover.
@@BehnamAshur not really, with our current technology we can easily discover SO much more. but egypt likes its tourism, its the thing generating money after all.

Isn't it possible that the ring was a gift given by the Pharaoh? Maybe it was given to commemorate a battle? Think outside the box please....or 'outside the tomb'!! LOL
My first thought was.. well that tombs 49 resident was probably some under-ling of Ramses III.. makes sense to me.. "I'm buried here because Ramses 3 was my buddy, and gave me a ring".. seems the most logical to me..
Later mummies were moved around, cached, in attempts to save them... perhaps they were temporarily stored in this tomb, and something dropped to the floor in the process....
I can be ignorant about what's going on with the whole world but I just can't suppress my dedication towards uncovering those Egytian stories. It somehow fulfils my life.
Colleen Darnell is very well respected in Egyptology circles. She dresses in early 1900s attire because that was the Golden Age of Egyptian archaeology.
Most Interesting❤ ! It depicts the rich tradition & culture of the Ancient Egyptions, their strong aesthetic sense, their sense of imagination, their value of life in this world & after, their dedication to life after death & their knowledge in science. The excavation site adds much curiosity & excitement with new findigs each day ! ❤❤

It just doesn’t make sense. A ring like that in the rubble. A half baked theory of mine is that they were made in homage to the king. Maybe a lot of people wore them? God . I love this stuff.
Theory: The ring was there because one of his descendants visited him in the tomb, dropped the ring and lost it somehow. The ring must've been a gift. Hed did have many sons!
I dream of Egypt 🇪🇬 and the people there of the past even though I've never heard of them before 17 years ago is when I heard of this place. I am from Alaska. I am inupiaq (eskimo) of the north/northwest. So how can I make it understandable that I had never heard of them but in my dream I saw many people & it was loud, crowded and had huge Pyramids etc...I dreampt twice of this before I knew about them people. 🤔 I am still in awe of myself and why I dreamed it before.
I'm always fascinated by the lack of respiratory protection face masks not used when working above and within these tombs. Mask would at least keep the humidity high breathing into the masks small space and would help your membranes stay moist=mucus movement. Important.

An unlimited amount of Egyptian antiquities were shipped in to Great Britain in the 17 and 1800's. There are probably countless items that should be given back to Egypt, whether in private collections or museums. I remember many videos of people talking about this subject and showing pictures of items in private collections. I'm sure many of these items have long since vanished which is just so wrong.
Great! About the ring, my guess would be that it wasn't worn by Ramses himself, but by his slave, servant or any looter, as it does not look very precious. It seems to have been carved rather roughly, or cheaply as you wish. In Egypt you can by this kind of stuff everywhere untill today and I guess that was not very much different in history. But it's a nice theory that the famous official-looter-grafity artist lost it here...
