Greg, you're the GOAT!!!! thanks again for such a great video 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Excellent video Greg. Man, the upgrade from Cubase 12 to 13 is huge. I’ve watched a few “my favourite features of C13” just to see what has changed and none of them scratch the surface compared to this.
It’s a really nice touch of being able to import keyswitches and creating articulations (there has clearly been some focus on this update for film, TV and games composers) however, I see no mention of being able to offset individual articulations in milliseconds? Without being able to offset each individual articulation (not the whole track by one offset value), then using multiple articulations on the same track is rather pointless as nothing is in proper time. I really hope this can be addressed! :)
Thanks Gregg...on windows CTRL-Q also quits straight from the main arrangement window 👍
Thanks I hadn't tried it yet. I wanted to show it as it is a new method in closing the program.
I have an i9 13900K cpu but I dont have that option to balance the cores?
Go in studio-the studio set up, under audio system. Go to Advanced Options and the see if you using 32bit float or 64bit float.. .
@@yvanmudendeli2729it doesn't matter if I choose 32 or 64 bit. I dont see the core balance... Do you see it?
When playing multipal midi tracks there was latency,
How to keep zero latency.
Even though I'm using high end processor
I know that this is an incredibly small and insignificant change, but being able to hide the menu bar makes such a huge difference for me. It annoyed me for so many years and now I can finally toggle it off. Thank you !
I think that lots of little small things can make a big difference in the experience of using the program.
Yery, very nice update! Thanks for showing everything in detail! 👍💪
Lots of small details can make a big difference. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
Excellent, thank you
Why can't i see the cpu optimization drop down menu, I'm on a Pc i9 intel with 10 cores
...cubase 13 is amazing!!!😃
😂
.Hi Greg .is it possible to replace vertical zoom ctrl-shift-cmd +mouse wheel with a custom key command? (z+mouse wheel ? regards
I have not found a way to do it but I will play around to see if I can find an option.
I was glad that the program started to close without crashing, but alas. This issue is also not resolved in this version. The largest DAW crashes on closing. Why did you have to change the design of the mixer console? It's terrible. I have to wear 3D glasses.
This comment made me laugh. I’m not excited about any of the new stuff, but I’m partly not upgrading because 12 looks way better.
What up Greg Ondo, where did they move the feature - Follow Chord Track? I don't see it in the same place in Version 13.....
It looks like the follow chord track function is under the chord track inspector tab where it was before.
@@gregondo376 Thanks Greg, I had to go in and reset the Inspector Tab, a lot of them were "OFF" and now they appear - you're the best Greg!!!!
Nice update,
but would be great if we could get, instant audition of presets sound, like in Komplete Kontrol..
Loading sounds in Halion is too slow, killing the workflow.
Many presets of synths loaded very fast for me but larger samples may take a little longer which I think is to be expected.
@@gregondo376 With plug-in managers like Komplete Kontrol and AkAi VIP, a user can audition any preset Instantly, before loading it .
So, Cubase's media-bay, could make proxy audio files, for the presets of any selected libraries.
It would be like browsing the Loops and Samples section of Cubase, but the audition sample is pointing to, calling, a preset for that sound when needed.
THANKS Greg!! I'm in 13!!! My fav. Number
Enjoy the new version.
@@gregondo376 yes!
Hi Greg. Here's a bug i've noticed (Cubase 13): I can't use the arrow keys to navigate through sounds in the media bay in the right zone anymore
It is working fine for me here on Mac and Windows. Could it be a different item has the focus?
Hey Greg! I want tempo detect such as in ableton live! why vst2 kill? r.i.p!!!
VST 2 still works everywhere except running in Apple Silicone native mode. Cubase has several tempo detection modes.
at around 1hr, 18min, noting the vocal sample/track is in stereo? wouldn't it be better if it was a mono track or had it already been processed with stereo effects?, I may have missed your intro to that segment, thanks
I just grabbed a vocal from the new Soulful RnB Vocal Soundest. It works the same with mono or stereo. I don't think that there I any processing on it.
For Cubase users, if anyone can help me with this question I would really appreciate it. I’ve noticed that some other daws have this but I haven’t noticed it in Cubase or maybe haven’t payed enough attention. Say you have any sample or an audio event loaded in the project zone, once we have added a ton of plugins to it, does the waveform in Cubase stay the same or changes accordingly in real-time? And where can we see these changes taking place? Many Thanks!!
If you want to see the changes in the waveform you have to apply the effects via direct offline processing or doing a render in place with the effects included.
@@gregondo376 Thanks Greg, I appreciate it!
hy, you can load a visualize prior the plugin circle or chain and another one right after the whole process and both of them will show you exactly the characteristics of the waves or signals that is running through them, does it help?
plus, it's a mistake for all of the other Daws to show that the signal changes (in the project zone or playlist) as you load an effect vst on a track since the playlist or project zone ''as you're call it'', is pre mixer which mean that the mixer receive what is coming from the playlist, no verse versa. Which I doubt they do....
I'm a cubase guy.... here's my 1st question... Greg how's ur day?
