@@SanAntonioTexasLiving I live in North Forth Worth with 100,000 in equity and I want to upsize without sacrificing my current monthly payments amount.
We've had a lot of clients comparing SA to the DFW area and most agree that SA has better affordability. We'd be happy to help you evaluate your options.
Truly enjoy your videos. My wife and I have plans to move to San Antonio in a year or two and your videos have really been helpful in trying to figure out the best areas. Thx!
Man, I want to tell you this is a great channel for old geezers like me who were born snd raised in San Antonio, but don't get around the way we used to. Keep up the good work and thanks for your information.
I just moved with my 3 kids ( single father) to 210 town not long ago, to the Prospect Hill neighborhood west of downtown. The homes here, although "historic" doesn't cost an arm and a leg like King Williams, Lavaca, or Alamo Heights would. It is pretty run down though, is streets away from the county jail, not the nicest area ever, but I only paid 120K for my home, in cash. My oldest son will be attending Lanier hs next coming school year, which is an extremely good school compared to what we were used to in Brooklyn.
My girlfriend and I checked out the Far West side while we were looking at houses, and man... That traffic is no joke. It reminded me too much of the traffic here in Houston, lol. Culebra in particular was just insane.
Yeah Culebra is pretty crazy depending on the time of day. Once folks move out here they learn all the different routes to get around the area. Did ya'll end up settling on a neighborhood?
Lenders usually like to see a couple years of job history, doesn't have to be the same job for 2yrs though. If you're just coming out of school or if there was a gap because of COVID, there's more flexibility there. Were you considering a move?
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving I would not mind going through you but we sold our house through Redfin and we get another .5 back if we buy through them here in SA.
@@mezmerii I can appreciate a that. We've met a number of really great Redfin agents and have had many successful transactions with them on the other side. We've also consistently saved our clients well above .5% on their home purchase, given our knowledge of the market and our ability to source off market homes without competition from other buyers😉.
It's such a nice area out in the Far West Side and we've really enjoyed it here for the last 6yrs! Feel free to reach out anytime if we can ever help with your home search😎.
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving currently im looking everyday at realtor.com and its hard to find something with 3 garage or enough space to park 2 cars, a jetski and a 20ft open car trailer... and when i found one its gone because i dont have a moving date yet 😫
I feel you! We hear that a lot from folks planning to move out here. They see a lot of great homes coming & going and wonder what'll be available when it's finally time for them to make the switch. Rest assured though, the perfect home is out there right now just waiting to hit the market for when you're ready!
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving like i said before i will be working near Lackland but have all those toys, where is the best area to have enough space and around $350k.
My husband & I have been entertaining the idea of making the big move from ME to TX, San Antonio in particular. I stumbled unto your videos while kind of researching. I really like how short & informative your videos are. My husband is a vet. And I am also thinking of working from home. Having a 4 yr old daughter, the westside neighborhoods seem ideal for her education. However, we have grown accustomed to the country of ME & having 20 acres equals privacy. We're just hating the cold & the boredom. Are there neighborhoods that allow for easy access to school system in Far west area and city amenities, but is within the outskirts? Just looking for a place that would benefit all of us.
My wife and I are heading out to SA in the Feb timeframe so these videos are amazing right now. I don't know if it's my phone, but your website link in the description wouldn't resolve for some reason
The www.mymarketboss.com/ one, just wanted to see what else may be out there that may not be on Zillow or Realtor.com haha. I found my way to exp eventually though *Looks like trading out the https for http made the difference.
Hey I'm coming canada im thinking of moving my business and about 25 families down to san Antonio within the year and i heard alot of HoA and people having alot of bad experiences what do you think about which areas are okay to start looking?
That sounds both exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time! We've worked with a lot of business owners expanding to TX though, and everyone has been happy they made the move here. Most HOA's are only in the $300-$600/yr range and come with a nice set of amenities. Some of our clients mentioned not wanting to be in HOA's, but we always tell them that "this is Texas, and Texan's don't really like being told what to do" so they're not really very restrictive anyways. As far as places to live, we've helped hundreds of families move to SA in the last couple of years and nearly everyone settled in one of 4 areas: -The Far West Side -The Far NW Side -The Far North Side -Helotes This video right here does a great job of breaking those areas down for more insight👉🏽 th-cam.com/video/5P7ydA0FlX4/w-d-xo.html Also, we'd be happy to talk further whenever you're open to it. Moving a business here along with your staff is a large undertaking and we're happy to be a resource to help with answering your questions and coming up with a plan. Hope this helps!
You're still in Sa Antonio, just out in the suburbs. Some people also include Helotes when talking about the Far West and the NW Sides of town as well.

Comparison to where in Houston? 1960? Westheimer?
When you talked about roads under construction I immediately thought of Evans RD. In stone oak😂
Maaaaaan! I was just out that way last week😬
I'm moving to SA next month from New Jersey and can't wait!
Nice, you're gonna really dig it here! Let us know if we can help in any way😎
Thanks alot and will do!!
Quick question how is the social/ night life etc ?
Downtown, Southtown, and the Pearl District have a lot to offer. Lots of bars, restaurants, clubs, and networking available.

Alamo Ranch & Stillwater Ranch would be great communities to look into. I live out that way & there's definitely 3 car garage options up to $350k.
Great vid! thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Great vlog
Thanks for tuning in, appreciate the love 🙌🏾
Oh yeah do they still have the big cowboy breakfast every April at the northstar mall
Now they have it on the Northeast loop410 area by Cowboys Night Club.
We’re buying our first house in Redbird Ranch! Great video! I had no idea about Government Canyon and I’ve lived here 30 years smh. So thank you!
For sure, definitely gotta check it out! It's a pretty cool spot.
where is the nicest possible place to live in SA for about 250k - quiet- nice - suburb type feel but close access to shopping... low drama/crime...

Lmaooo I wouldve been the same way with that spider 🕷 I can NOT deal
I'm still not quite right after that😂‼️
What area is this? Rainbow hills? Leon valley?
The Far West Side is outside Loop 1604 between Braun Rd & Hwy 90.
Are there any factory jobs out there?
Where did you move from?
We moved to SA from New Mexico back in 2014. It's been a great city for raising our family🙌🏾
How old were u when you moved there

Spiders and wasp are where I draw the line, I’m too big of a guy to be screaming like a 12 year old girl.
Man, I feel you! 3 things I don't play with: wasps🐝, spiders🕷, and ghosts👻‼
Westside or no side
😎
Shhhhh! Stop telling people our secrets!
