I always just use a silk or satin bonnet with my overnight heatless curls. I sleep in a bonnet anyway so might as well use it to keep my curlers in place 🤷🏼♀️. I'd lose that scarf within an hour of going to bed 😂. Love the results you got from the smaller rods!
Hi!! I also have baby fine hair that doesn’t hold curl - I think I have perfected my unicorn curls and have been curious about these types of rods for a blowout so thank you for this video!! I really notice a difference in the hold of my curls if I dampen my hair and use the Ouai Wave Spray. I think it helps with holding my curls longer.
I ordered a cheaper option of these recently off of Amazon and pretty much felt the same way. My hair doesn’t hold curl either and they just basically fell like yours did with the first set (the rollers I purchased were like the thicker set). I also felt like they were uncomfortable to sleep in and prefer my robe curls much more. I just purchased some scrunchie type curlers to try since I put my hair up in a bun most nights to try and keep some bend in my hair. Hoping one of them works out but would love for you to try those out next.
@@LaineyMarieBeauty Yes, that's them. I actually got two of the four I ordered today (the other two are coming tomorrow) and put one in my hair already for tonight. It was really simple and very similar to me putting my hair up every night, so I'm really hoping it comes out looking good tomorrow!!
All it did was give you a lot of volume. It's pretty, but not the curl you wanted. The smaller ones worked better. My hair doesn't hold curl either for long.
I honestly didn’t think the curl was pretty at all. Nice try though!! Might have to try these unicorn curls you speak of. I use a Lange curling wand, whatever the smaller size is since I have fine hair as well, and It'll actually stay for 2-3 days. Of course by the 3rd day it's not as curly, but still beautiful.
I like the unicorn curls best but would love to know what products you think are worth the money like the two you showed today. I really trust your judgment as I never feel like you’re just trying to make a buck from your viewers.
Awe thanks! I will be honest, I don't find that anything helps hold my curls on my fine hair and I've tried everything. I don't think the products that I showed in the video did much at all, so I didn't even link them in my description box. I find that when my hair has a little bit of texture in it, whether it be from adding a texture/dry shampoo spray or just my hair being a little dirty, that's when my curls hold the best. The only hair product that I use consistently is a leave-in-conditioner and a hair oil. neither of those help with holding curls though!
i love how you are so honest with the products you try. For me i do not think they are worth the money at all. You have had better results with robe tie and socks which are freee. x thankyou x
Not everyone’s hair is going to take like that though. I have naturally curly hair so rollers would smooth it out but I would get big wavy curls that would last quite a while. ❤
@@kelseysmith3734 hell no! Maybe if it was given in PR, but no thanks! And I don't love them. I do better with a scarf or the over-the-head one...all great results. Damp hair for the win! And not for nothing...healthy ends....a trim would do wonders. When I need a trim, my hair tells me. It won't curl or hold a curl.
Honest feedback like this means a lot!
I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I got the same results BTW! ☺

I need to try a bonnet! ❤
Thank you ❤
@@LaineyMarieBeauty I highly recommend! My hair is the healthiest it's ever been since I started sleeping in a bonnet.
The 2nd ones came out beautiful ❤ it’s just a shame they are uncomfortable….. thanks for testing for us!!!!
Ugh! I know. I can play around with placement but I just don’t see how they would be comfortable 😢❤
I appreciate the honesty!
Of course!

Oh thanks for sharing! I’ll have to try that. I really like OUAI
The smaller ones worked great! Tfs! ❤❤🎉🎉
I think so too! Thank you ❤

Hi! Do you mean a “curling scrunchie” off Amazon? I can try that! ❤

omg I have literally trying so many different ways to get a good blow out! Thanks you so much for this video it definitely will help!!!!❤
Of course! ❤thanks for watching!
The second one looks way more pretty 💞
Thank you for suffering through the night so we don't have too!!! The smaller are definitely better .
That’s what I’m here for 😂❤
Would you kindly provide the measurement of the thickness of the small ones? They don’t have the measurements even on their website. Thank you!

Fine hair problems! Lol❤ thanks for watching ❤

I love my unicorn curls !!❤
I like the smaller rods better. The curl is beautiful.
Thank you❤❤❤
Thank you ❤❤❤
Where can I get the product? Amazon has a lot of dupes but they have bad reviews
The small ones came out really nice!! They add so much volume, your hair looks beautiful :)
Thank you ❤❤❤

I have the same problem with very fine hair. It just doesn't hold a curl for more than 10 minutes, no matter which products or method I use 😕
Yep! Fine hair problems 😂❤ samesies
whats the size of the smaller ones
It's the "little on the go" bundle on their website!
When you were done with the curl up and scarf you looked like Lucy Ricardo from the I Love Lucy Show. Very cute and a retro 1950s look.
Awww that was my favorite show growing up! Always loved her and thought she was fabulous ❤
i love how you are so honest with the products you try. For me i do not think they are worth the money at all. You have had better results with robe tie and socks which are freee. x thankyou x
💕
Second one much better. Maybe mix them the rods ?
Oh good idea! I’ll try that ❤
You look very beautiful and pretty.
Thank you so much ❤

Sounds like it would look beautiful on your hair type!
I got those same type of rods, no scarf, for WAY LESS on amazon!!!!! Yikes!
Sameeee I paid $9 and mine have the clips and same size as the small ones. I wouldn’t pay $50 for them. 😮

Nope for me . Too expensive for very little results
Definitely pricey! ❤
🧡🧡💥🧡🧡
Also, I would part it down the middle.
Eh you just have pretty hair regardless 😆
Lol lies! But thank you ❤
Those sound like they are not worth the money!
Depends what you prefer and your hair type. For my hair type, no, so I’ll stick to unicorn curls!
