I am so happy I’m not the only one still listening to Christmas music. Its April 2023, and I’m still listening. Makes everything around me feel so calm and magical.
My father served in the military for thirteen years (all of which before I was born), and this is still his favorite christmas song to this day. He says that it will always remind him of home, and that every time he hears this song it makes his day better. I have had multiple family memebers whom had served in the military, and I know how difficult it is for those people to be away from their friends and family for the holidays. When I was younger, I would wake up on Christmas morning at about four in the morning (when no one was up), and I would sit infront of the Christmas tree in the corner of our small living room. On those semi-lonely Christmas mornings when I would wait for my dad to come home from work, I would sing this song to myself. Like my dad, it reminds me of my family and my home. I have since moved from that house that I would wake up so early at on Christmas, but the little kid is still there. Now, when I hear this song, I remember my one friend who is still living where we grew up, and who I don't see as often anymore as I wish I did. We always try to do some long-distance christmas traditions, but it's not always the same. If you are alone this Christmas, know that at least one person is truthfully wishing you a Merry Christmas! Also, if you are in the military spending Christmas alone this year, I want to thank you for spending your holidays in service. I also wish you a very Merry Christmas!

I am hindu, but somehow i love christmas music. Maybe because i believe that divinity or "god" as we see it is all the same whether you call him as lord "krishna" or lord "christ" everyone believes in some kind of faith. And whatever you sing, it ultimately all goes somewhere. Whether you sing a christmas carol, a christian hymn that is in latin, italian , english, or a hindu hymn, I believe that god will accept it as long as you sing it with love and devotion.

I took care of my aunt for the last year of her life. She passed in February 3 yrs ago. I recited these lyrics at her eulogy. She loved Michael Bublé and this song ! His songs hit hard for me, for a couple reasons actually. Last September 14th, a great man passed away. My Grandpa was like a Dad to me, and he and my Gram were together for 18 years. Last Christmas was a Blue one for us. This year it'll be bittersweet. Here I am, day before Thanksgiving, listening to these songs, and I'm close to crying because I miss my Grandpa's jokes and smile he always had. I will always love my Granpa. This year, I met the man of my dreams. He is my world. Though we are worlds apart for this holiday, we are trying to keep in touch. So these songs hit hard for me as I miss him immensely. But they also remind me that with time, even the holidays can still hold magic for those who are hurting inside. Stay strong, and hold your loved ones a little closer this holiday season, as we all try to get through 2020 together. Hope will not fade, and love is eternal.

Remember when people say that the world ends in 2012? I gues that was real, becuase life after that was so much different, and the worst thing is Christmas wasn't the same anymore. This is my most favorite time of the year, as a kid I always look forward to family gatherings, presents, laughter, lights and love. I regret taking those years for granted, I wish i did not grow up, i wish I can turn back time. Fast forward now, I'm in my 20's lying in bed days before Christmas, i wanted to cry so bad buy i just can't. It makes me sad by the thought of whats happening in the world today, but at the same time I'm at peace and found a little joy of the thought that some year ago, this day, I was happily waiting for Christmas.

His songs hit hard for me, for a couple reasons actually.
Last September 14th, a great man passed away. My Grandpa was like a Dad to me, and he and my Gram were together for 18 years. Last Christmas was a Blue one for us. This year it'll be bittersweet. Here I am, day before Thanksgiving, listening to these songs, and I'm close to crying because I miss my Grandpa's jokes and smile he always had. I will always love my Granpa.
This year, I met the man of my dreams. He is my world. Though we are worlds apart for this holiday, we are trying to keep in touch. So these songs hit hard for me as I miss him immensely. But they also remind me that with time, even the holidays can still hold magic for those who are hurting inside.
Stay strong, and hold your loved ones a little closer this holiday season, as we all try to get through 2020 together. Hope will not fade, and love is eternal.

Remember when people say that the world ends in 2012? I gues that was real, becuase life after that was so much different, and the worst thing is Christmas wasn't the same anymore. This is my most favorite time of the year, as a kid I always look forward to family gatherings, presents, laughter, lights and love. I regret taking those years for granted, I wish i did not grow up, i wish I can turn back time. Fast forward now, I'm in my 20's lying in bed days before Christmas, i wanted to cry so bad buy i just can't. It makes me sad by the thought of whats happening in the world today, but at the same time I'm at peace and found a little joy of the thought that some year ago, this day, I was happily waiting for Christmas.
