- Thank you for watching! Spiderman 2 was a very fun game to play but left me wanting more from it, which ultimately made it disappointing for me. Comment below what you guys thought abt Spiderman 2.

Bruh, people had to wait 5 months after launch for them to fix certain suits (tasm 2 lenses is now broken) and to add NG+ and repeat missions.
2018 and Miles was a much better experience than the second one
Actually it's 5 years of development. The New Game Plus not being on launch was Sony's fault for pressuring them. Insomniac said they were supposed to get it ready before the end of 2023 but the hack happened causing a delay and 1 week after the hack they announced the delay.
Marvel's Spider Man 2 is objectively better then Miles Morales.
That's how I feel too like the game just didn't feel complete, but i still enjoy it more than the miles game

Gameplay wise, Spider-Man 2 is definitely my favorite. Story wise is still Spider-Man 1 tho, easily my favorite story driven game ever

Yea I agree with gameplay spiderman 2 is definitely better but spiderman 1 has the better story
I sort of wish we could have gotten more side missions with more villains. Misterio was fun but would have love to see Kinpin return or Taskmaster since it sort of seem like he was working for an organization targeting SM, hell even add AIM or Hydra for some variety.
Yea that would've been really cool to see I wish there was just more side content in general
Gameplay wise it's a massive upgrade. But the story and graphics, I still prefer Spiderman 1

Game was 100% rushed, besides the traversal and map the first game was way better. The story, writing, side content/amount of content and main missions

To me the 3rd act felt way too short and it felt like they wanted to do way more than what they actually did, the game just has this weird aura that there was more stuff they wanted to do but couldn't, also the colors feel more washed out to me compared to the first and I just like the more vibrant colors of the first game
@@wingsoffirefan3156Bro come on. 3rd act is definitely rushed and thats objectively true because the director himself said it. The Symbiote city was rushed. The Symbiote arc was rushed. VENOM was rushed. STORY Content was cut because of the damn MJ missions. They wanted to make her a hero.
Exactly I think if they had the time to do everything it would've been such a better game

I have no issues with the game the gameplay is amazing literally leaves me speechless the graphics although ppl are saying bad things about the story i literally have no issues with it its good and spiderman 2 is one of the best spiderman games we have right now so be grateful

No lie when I get spiderman 2 I'm gonna mostly switch and play peter idk he looks better too play as with his symbiote powers being able to hit everything on screen and have some insane dps tracking.
Miles I will have fun with his multiple venom abilities but pete got him beat since you can use the symbiote Tentacles and Spider arms and have surge mode. Peter looks like he's gonna do more damage 😅
The symbiote abilities are amazing and I really enjoyed using them once I unlocked them
This game was the main thing i wanted for my 23rd birthday after i got the Playstation 5
I bought the console for this game and the boxing game that is stuck in development hell. It was very alright but disappointing considering the hype.
Yea the story LACKED and the way they portrayed Venom and how the symbiote didn’t affect Harry like it did Pete from a personality standpoint, it felt weird
Yea the whole story just wasn't executed the best and so many things just seemed off
If there’s one take away any game can take away from the Arkham games are sequels and how you need to take your take your time to not disappoint the fan base since the first was so good and deliver with a amazing sequel that is at the same level if not better then the original and I think if they were able to take there time with the game and put more quality this game could of been so much better but even with that this game is amazing
I agree if they had more time I think this game would've been unbelievable but still a very good game
I couldn't tell the difference between difficulty I was always good started the first one on spectacular and was glad when I unlocked ultimate

funny take i'm not sure how people can believe it's disappointing, maybe the story but outside of that makes zero sense.
The side missions and random crimes haven't improved or evolved. Car chases have gone through a clear downgrade. Way to much time was dedicated to walking around as Peter, MJ, or Miles' girlfriend doing non-superhero fantasy things. Yet somehow there wasn't enough time to flesh out Harry Osborne or Venom.
Content like replayable main & enemy base missions, time/weather change, time trials, and ng+ were missing at launch. It took them months for some of those basic features to be added.
The symbiote powers doesn't go beyond a couple of abilities with cool down times. Most of which can be replaced by Peters gadgets.
The majority of iconic Spider-man villians were either killed off or reformed.
Besides Wraith, the characters on Peter's side including Peter himself are all Mary Sues with no real flaws. The only time that changes is when the Symbiote is introduced. After it gets taken off, everything resumes back to normal with no consequences outside of Harry's possible death.
Story is the only thing that makes a game good unless it isnt a story based game and something like an online game which this isnt
Disappointed was a harsh way to word it but I didn't know how else to word it when I was expecting a little bit more from the game it was still a great game tho

Bro he even swings the same with the black suit/anti venom, the animations are the same when puts it on and they stay the same if you don't surge(combat). Even the dodges are the same 😂they made the black suit feel like a re-skin,feels like the game isn't finished. We been busting Air combat since the first game(repetitive by now).Put that with the empty post story city, We doomed until dlc lul

they had space for a ROBOT LEGS SKILL TREE but not for a basic 4xsquare combo string leveling system, OG PS2 spidey players hurting,, no symb. button switch, no new neutral dodges, re-used everything besides swinging and surge(boring). Bruh at least give us a combo string skill tree tf. Woke shit empty city. I'm done bro
I heavily agree on the venom suits feeling a little bit like a reskin I thought the abilities were cool but they could've done a lot more with it

Barely finished with the vid and youre speaking complete facts but i disagree with Kraven i dont think hes that great. Just wasnt impressed.
that's fair I was just surprised with him as a character because I wasn't expecting him to be such a prevalent character in this game
Look, I'm glad you agreed it's great and you love it and I agree it's fantastic as well, but it's not really disappointing. The game is better then it's predessesors in almost every ways except story. Now don't get me wrong, story is great, the only thing rushed was the third act. First 2 acts were great. My other issue is lack of varieties in side missions, even though it's improved and less repetitive, we could use more varieties. Spider Man 2 improves upon everything criticised from the previous entries.
I would like to correct you on part of the story regarding the symbiote Peter arc. Peter can't have the symbiote longer since the longer Peter keeps it then Harry would be week. You saw him using the cane which shows he is running out of time. So Peter has to give it back eventually.
Anyways, here are my thoughts:
Story: 8.5/10
Gameplay: 37/40
Bosses: 9.5/10
Combat: 9/10
Side Missions: 8.5/10
Traversal: 10/10
Overall: 45.5/50 (91%)
story was worse than the 1st, sorry but they rushed it and admitted to rushing it and cut content out 💀
@@dobersquad1042 nah story is great but definitely the first one has a better story (the only thing that the first one got that's better). Bryan Intihar only said the third act was rushed with all the Venom stuff being cut. That was on Sony for pressuring them.
@@Shahriyararin63 It just lacked a lot and was lazy we should have seen Kraven kill off all of Spidermans villains and that was lazy. They changed writers and that was a bad decision
@@dobersquad1042 1) That was the only cool thing Kraven did off screen. Even though he did more cool stuff on screen, I still would love to actually see that in action
2) The kept some of the same writers from the first one while also using the new ones. Storywise is solid but as I have already agreed, the first one has a better story.
Yea that's a good point with Peter's symbiote, and I agree with the side missions they were definitely one of my biggest issues with this game

I give it a 6 because I bought a ps5 specifically for this game. I played SM1 and Miles Morales at least 8 times each. I beat SM2, beat new game+ and did the Venom section on replay a couple of times and deleted it until the DLC comes.
U LITERALLY JUST EXPLAINED MY EXPERIENCE!!! I'm more of an xbox player though I had ps4 too...Ive had a series x since dec.2020 & I only got a ps5 in October specifically for Spider-Man 2 b/c I loved the 1st 2, ESPECIALLY Miles Morales. I dont usually replay games like that but I've played Spider-Man Miles Morales so many times. I love everything about it, & I really liked the 1st 1 also, so I was super excited for Spider-Man 2 but it was a disappointment to me compared to the previous...I had fun doing everything activity in Miles Morales, especially the bases, but I was getting pissed at some of the activities on this. It was almost a chore to complete this game...I was hooked on Starfield at the time, sorry
I ended up stopping after I got the venom suit & then I came back a few months later to finish it. The other day I started new game plus & its been kinda fun...The game looks amazing

It was disappointing because they had to force in pandering miles for no reason when people just wanted a straight Peter Parker/ venom storyline
