Synopsis: When a one-hit-wonder girl group from the ’90s gets sampled by a young rapper, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can‘t they also be Girls5eva? Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Emmy nominee and Broadway actress Sara Bareilles ("Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert") stars along with Grammy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry ("Hamilton"). Meredith Scardino serves as creator and executive producer for the series. Tina Fey ("30 Rock"), Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond, David Miner, Eric Gurian will also serve as executive producers.

My favorite thing about this show is they essentially cast two actual singers and two comedians who they're like "sure, they can carry a tune." Great song, just the right mix of silly and catchy and genuine

My heart will always be with Sara (her talent is amazing) but I have to say Tina Fey knew what she was doing. All 4 ladies excel with acting, comedic timing, individuality and singing. This is a wonderfully funny show that I binged twice already-the one liners are hysterical. Girls5Eva definitely deserves a second season!

I knew Busy Phillips sang way back on Dawson's Creek, but she holds her own here. Sara Bareilles and Renee Goldsberry are phenomenal but I was surprised how both actors relatively keep up - I guess they got the casting right.
