They're gonna be famous 5eva, 'cause 4eva's 2 short! Watch the members of Girls5eva (Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, Ashley Park, and Erika Henningsen) in their brand-new music video "Famous 5eva."
Synopsis: When a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s gets sampled by a young rapper, its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can‘t they also be Girls5eva? Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Emmy nominee and Broadway actress Sara Bareilles ("Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert") stars along with Grammy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Renée Elise Goldsberry ("Hamilton"). Meredith Scardino serves as creator and executive producer for the series. Tina Fey ("30 Rock"), Robert Carlock , Jeff Richmond, David Miner, Eric Gurian will also serve as executive producers.

This is such a ridiculous song, and I absolutely love it.
Extra points for that Nelly Furtado reference. Although, technically, it makes no sense in what is supposed to be a 1990s song (Nelly Furtado did not debut with "Like a Bird" until 2001)
probably thinking way too deep into this, put the hand help camera footage date is march 3rd 1999, so they were using footage from when they first formed the group for the music video, I'm like a bird came out in september of 2000, so maybe thats around when the video for famous 5 eva cam eout
