+Vexed Knight Tha was completely random. Could be a fake profile picture. And I don't see why you jumped so fast to saying she was smart, because of one simple comment and a picture. Lol
Oh Children should be taught, Bills need to be paid but money isn't everything. Just ask the US.P, Hs has millions from hos own businesses and still gladly accepts a paycheque from tax money to waste it on $200 steaks from Japan and fuel for his US government private jets for private matters, But hw complained about Clinton doing the last. Politics suck man....
I'd like to say that the Neebs Gaming community is the best community in TH-cam history. I'm reading these comments and finding no trash talk and everyone here is so kind and helpful. Thank you guys at Neebs Gaming for putting together these videos for us and giving some of the best advice I've ever received. Keep up the great work guys. P.S. Simon rating is a 10 for this episode.
Yeah that's so true I've been subscribed here for a while and I have never seen a stupid argument and even the ones I do it's a safisticated argument not just a pissing match like most TH-cam arguments this really is the best channel
Ryan Karidias thats probably because neebs and the crew never trashtalk about "shit" thats in the games they play or talk about things that need nerfing right away. Also their goal is worldpiece so that might have something to do with it and last but not least we are all awesome
For real, I learned English from tv, and to read (subtitles), and right now I've not even covered WW2 at school, what I know is from TV, video games and movies.
When you guys here these commentaries does anyone else just picture the battlefield friends having these conversations over like, a campfire or something?
I think schools also need to teach that it's ok to fail. Students are made out to be bad if they fail a test or get something wrong after the first try. Not a lot of people get things right the first time and most give up because there is no emphasis to try and try again, it's try, fail, then oh maybe this isn't for you and you should do something else. Everyone was a beginner before they were an expert.
+ARESKILLA ZIMA Runnig with that concept, growing up I realized failing can also be a learning process in itself. Sometimes you come up with better strategies to succeed at the same thing, and sometimes you realize it might be better for you to seek a completely different route. It's always been my motto that there is no such thing as waste unless you force something to be waste. If you spent years and money into a career you later thought was not for you, whatever knowledge you take with you is still useful! Sometimes, some of that knowledge can come in handy into your next venture. Sometimes, it can help someone who is on the path you once were.
+ARESKILLA ZIMA I agree with you. I enjoyed Chemistry in high school and failed every single test, because I was a slower learner compared to the other kids, but when I did a retake one week after failing I'd make a 100. I think many students need to learn how to cope with the stress of failing and use that stress and turn it into a good thing such as motivation and drive to do better.
Areskilla my opinion is exactly the opposite, in the school I was students didn't care if they pass or fail a test or subject or year, this is because teachers these days are more merciful because they had a harder time as kids and they give free grades to students who fail, they have to teach students it's bad to fail and stop being merciful or else students will grow up as failures who show themselves as successors and do things over their lvl and end up wasting allot of time for no reason
I just want to say, Neebs, you are probably one of the largest role models a person could have, you strive to be better and to make people happy, you don't put others down, you pick them up, and so I want to thank you for being you
Just on the topic Appsro said why isn't it taboo for a guy to get shot it the head but God forbid show tits, it's cus the headshot is fake and can be told it's fake and they can understand its pretend, but boobs are a sensual intimacy that should be shown when they are matured and ready that.
+Brothers Of Courage It's taboo because society values men less than women. It's clear by how we always hear about women's issues, but nary a whisper about men's issue - as though they have none. What you value you protect, you cover up. Which it why it's taboo to show a woman nude, but it's okay to drill a dude in the face from 100 yards.
+Kevin Dombrowski well if men are valued less, why have they always made more money for the same job done. on your second point, men seem to have less problems than women because real men dont verbalize their problems as much as women do. it's not that our problems aren't as often or as bad, it's just that you can't shut women up long enough about thier problems to talk about yours.
David Fubuster The "more money" myth has been debunked so many times that you're repeating it means you're ignorant or a liar. Pick one. And who says "real men" don't verbalize their problems? Why is that "manly?" To anyone with common sense that's idiotic. This moronic attitude is why men are four times as likely to commit suicide than women. Look like being manly makes you more likely to off yourself. That's real fucking manly.
Hey guys, I'm at university in the UK and I watch these videos for the great inspiration and the smiles I get but Simon you have done sorted my next couple of weeks in terms of food with that annotation. Who knew some Battlefield gameplay, a great bunch of friends and a TH-cam channel could help someone out in such a simple way. Huge thank you to all of you, keep the amazing work up.
+Duchess i am from greece and one thing i have to tell about the school system IS FUCKED ON THE FINANCIAL PART -no free books the first 3 or 4 weeks -too many bad teachers and bad school buildings -the things they teach are from another planet(the first time i take the university exams i pass in the mathimatics university in athens, for reasson,i give the exams again and manage to pass in the greek militery air force and i continue the math university because they give me this choice. As soldiers we send to learn more thing in the camps of U.N.(united nasion). The thing that blow me mind is the kids in all the other countrys on europe do in they 17-18 what we did in 15-16 If any one know what complex maths, quantom basic chemistry theory ,LC electrics system and motion of liquid physics is then you can feel me pain
+Duchess All of them are crap one way or another...Some schools worldwide teach old,too conservative classes, while others teach new, revolutionary classes,in luxury conditions (sweden, netherlands, germany, etc.) BUT at the end of it,you are still selling the same crap to the population one way or another...I mean if you are a talentless robot person, then yes, school is good for you, because it's better than nothing, but if you have a level of knowledge above the general world's one, then it will drag you down
+Duchess I live in Macedonia or FROYM , the schools are 50 years old, the stupid government spent all its money on million dollar statues and there and still people in poverty, THAT LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO THE FRICKIN CAPITAL, and we're doin nothing. but not your fault, dont wanna make you feel bad
What i really enjoy about these videos is that are so engaging, i have seen other videos by other youtubers and where when they talk the gameplay in the background is more interesting than what they say so after 5 minutes you have no idea what they were talking about. But with Neebs and company you actually want to listen, so i want to say thanks guys for being awesome and you got some valid points, i myself was wondering how to do my taxes right when i left school.
Hello Neebs and the gang. First of all keep up the good work! Watching your videos always brighten up my days and even helped me to get out of a depression so thank you for that. About the video. In my school you can choose a profile and you can choose your own subjects (except a few mandatory subjects like Math and English). I chose music and I'm in a class with 8 other people. I have to say you guys are right about the effect of artistic subjects. Whenever I have to take a music class it helps me relax and helps me focus on the rest of my day. I also notice that our (music)class has become pretty close which is really nice. Again thank you for brightening up my days and hope you guys have a wonderfull day!
I'll be perfectly honest, most of these "Life Advice" videos they have don't appeal to me too much. It just seems a little silly to be taking advice from an online celebrity. To me it felt like actors telling people how to vote or something. But you guys hit the nail on the head with every single one of these topics. Not a single missed issue, I'm not kidding. It's like every single thing I've ever thought was wrong with schools is summed up and solved in this one video.Truly amazing, I'm really not kidding. This was so awesome to hear. Maybe when Neebs & gang get to be a humongous TH-cam star then they can really push this and affect some change. That would be so fantastic.Keep them coming Neebs & gang, you guys rock.
All of the classes you talked about in this video are at my high school (Plainview-Elgin-Millville). My first semester this year was personal finance class, personal health and nutrition, American politics, and raceway engineering(which is basically like a learn to build a full car class but you still learn basic maintenance) and this semester I am taking economics, media studies, and vehicle maintenance. My sophomore year I took a computer applications and graphic design class with an audio and cad course. The teachers are awesome and the way I feel I learn better is either when we get involved with what we are learning or if they make it fun with jokes that you remember with the material in it. Love you guys' videos.
I am currently going through school for at least a masters in psychology, though most likely a PhD if things continue to go the way they are. Despite all of this higher education, the most important things I had learned in school were from the years between high school and university, working as an art department technician/intern. This was hardly the definition of higher education, but it taught me those most important things I know today in regards to dealing with people, organizational skills and teaching. Most of all, it taught me about what things in life are worth paying attention to. This is something that will help me in my future career as a psychologist, and it's a level of experience many of the others in my psych class are without. Awesome video Neebs! I came here for the Battlefield, but I stay for this kind of stuff!
That's what America needs, A team pf presidents, One bc the president has way tlo mich power including over the senate (funny how some think Canada's PM is too powerful but he never comes close to as mich power) then a team od presidents should improve each of the Ps sleep so much.
The problem with the logic is, these guys play video games and make some sort of income from it. In the past 30 years there has been no classes on how to be a TH-cam star.
Hw never said any logic behinf them runnkng for P, So what does Utube have to do with it ? He never mentioned them running a course on utube careers, Besides Utube being more then gaming vids, Utube hasn't even existed for 30 years. Any American nowadsys for the last 5 years st least, Has said "___ run for President !" Neebs and his buds should look at getting into local council or a school board, They have good points and work their way up. Then ppl can finally shut up about the fsce reveals.
I'm guessing proper grammer and spelling and "TALKING LIKE A FUCKING HUMAN BEING" hails no merrit. Either re read my post or fuck off. "Proper fucking Grammer". I never implied anything political. I posted to a what was on topic in the video. Neebs being president is as far fetched as you licking your fucking toe. Besides all that bullshit. I posted to a 1 yr old Post. Who gives a fuck by now but we two fucks.? Peace the fuck out.
Little late, but great video guys. It's rare to see channels like these acknowledge their fan base is young and having smart conversations like that. You should do more of that. Thanks Appsro for plugging in crash course. Great use of your fame, keep going
I love how they're forcing me to do philosophy even though the majority of people hate philosophy. When was the last time someone hired a guy who had a major in Philosophy.
mre1995 It's not even useful for life. I don't need a professor questioning my existence and asking if the glass is half empty or half full. Allow me to answer the tough questions. What came first? The chicken or the egg?: The chicken. It was confirmed by a supercomputer in the U.K. Why are we here?: Because evolution is a bitch. What is the meaning of life?: You live and do whatever the fuck you want. Is the glass half empty or half full?: Neither. It's halfway. Get a thesaurus hippie. See? That wasn't too hard. I didn't need a semester wasted to answer all those questions.
I love Neebs Gaming videos. They can make a video about something debatable, intelligent, etc., while at the same time being hilarious as hell. You guys are BEAST!
Hi Neebs and gang, just want you guys to know I really appreciate these type of videos, especially your failure video! I have been watch you guys for a long time and finding your channel came at the perfect time in my life. I was going through a really dark time in my life, I lost a few friends to drunk drivers, lost my job, my girlfriend and dropped out of college due to me being so depressed I couldn't stand to be around anyone. I contemplated suicide and actually attempted it. the next day I came across Battlefield friends, and that series was able to distract me from the troubles in your life. So thanks to all of you guys you helped me get passed to hurt and sought out help. I want you all to know that what you guys do isn't just entertainment, it's not just a job, it really changed my life. now I am getting married and starting my dream career as well as starting my TH-cam channel. Again thank you for all that you do and for inadvertently helping me through such a difficult time in my life. Much love, Michael.
TH-cam needs more of theses videos this is what people should be watching it has humor and information and entertainment-love the video neebs keep it up
It's that simple...well, there's your problem right there. Anything you assume is simple, is beyond comprehension for an entire group of people 😝 I used to work in a Dr office, and we actually had a patient who was certain she couldn't get pregnant, because her boyfriend was taking birth control 🤭😤😂😂
LMFAO I love you guys! I watch your current stuff as well but these insightful videos are truly amazing. Premium aged TH-camrs seem to be underappreciated.
Going off the point about how the fast food industry is taking advantage of us, just the other day Mcdonald's didn't let me order a water with my combo. I had to either buy a water bottle or take the small free cup. It was ridiculous trying to explain how I wanted water in my cup instead of soda. (Also congrats Appsro on getting Pecker on Comedy Central, it was on their snap story too!)
The MG4 is broke. No long range accuracy at all. The fact that a prone LMG on a bipod, who shoots first, gets out shot by a AR, shows how bust LMGs are in Battlefield. Dice fucks up more every week.
SvenTviking Actually thick "cancelled" the deploying of his bipod alot this video. He lays down but moves a little right after which detracts the bipod again. Thats why he missed so much and got outgunned by the AR
+jorge almaraz Next time you're in a grocery store, go to the produce section, look for a bag of HONEYCRISP apples, and just ask the clerk to tell you how much the bag would be then do the math to find out how many orders of fries you could get with that. You will start to smell smoke as your brain tries to figure out the why.
Another thing schools should do is make advanced classes actually hard, to prepare college bound students better. Even in AP classes, it was easy going for me. I'm in college now and it is leagues harder than any high school course I ever took.
+Potaishee I will preface by saying that I am only in my first semester at a branch campus, but college (at PSU-Altoona) doesn't seem much harder for me, and the only "advanced" (weighted more than 1 credit) class I took in HS was Trig. I definitely feel the responsibility; the greater weight on my shoulders, but the classes and assignments themselves do not seem incredibly difficult in my entry level engineering classes. It will get more difficult, I know, but I think that people just need to try and they will do well at "normal" colleges. If you go to MIT or another school with a very good programs, then you need to go with the expectation that everything will be extremely difficult. Otherwise the programs would not be that exceptional, would they?
I don't know about the states, but here in India I'm going through my last year of high school and its hard. I frequently refer to MIT ocw and feel like I already know this. so take it how you will but maybe you need to change schools (or country)
Using audio in the car could be usefull :) I spend almost 2 hours a day going to/from work and I've thought about getting my spanish back in shape. Only downside... then I would have to stop listening to Neebsylvania in the car :D dont need to see you guys building stuff, just listening to you messing around always makes my day :D You guys are awesome!
My main complaint with schools is they never have classes that teach what you want to learn, my high school has no "computer class". There is no class that teaches you how to build a computer or program shit on computers. It kinda had one, but it was cancelled since for a class it needs 15 students, there were 11 that chose it so instead of moving 4 other students from full classes, they move the 11 that did want to do it. So instead of basically setting 4 students on a slightly different learning path they decided to completely change the career path of 11 students because as there was no class that year, there was not that class the next year which is year 11 and it is when you choose your classes for both year 11 and 12
I was lucky. As a kid I joined a church youth group that met once a week. We usually did one of four things. We played games, did service in the community, did crafts (which were usually meant to be gifts during holidays), or learned a lot of the things you guys mentioned. I learned car care, personal hygiene, budgeting, home care and much more. Growing up I was shocked at how much this youth group ended up teaching me. I had friends who didn't know how to sew on buttons, didn't know what a radiator was, or how to cook basic meals. Another nice thing about the youth group was you didn't have to be a member of their church and they usually weren't preachy. They would start with a prayer but then it would delve into real world teaching or fun stuff.
As a Brit, this was actually so interesting to watch, hearing opinions of Americans. But how old are 8 graders? ( cuz we don't call our pupils graders so I have no idea who's who in high school) The Education system and classes in America is different from ours! Can't wait to be taught by neebs! Btw great battlefield vid.
Hey Neebs, I'm currently a high school senior, and in Economics class for my last semester before graduating. There is this program run by H&R Block called the H&R Block Budget Challenge. The program is a simulation of how bank accounts work, paying bills to vendors, and it gives online quizzes each week for points my teacher gets e-mails about to grade. The quizzes not only count as these mandatory assignments I would have to do, but the more questions I get right each time, the higher my ranking is for the H&R Block scholarship they offer. The scholarship I believe is what motivates the students to compete against each other while trying to maintain the best grade possible. It teaches us how to deal with money, and how important it is to have good credit.
The US has become consumed with STEM test scores. Both sides of our political spectrum care but the left here has made it the top priority in schools to have higher standardized test scores. If a school was to offer these sort of classes instead of focusing on getting kids ready for tests their funding would get cut. We also have very strong unions as mentioned in the video that make it difficult if not impossible to fire bad teachers.
***** Yep, i find history's used more as a propaganda tool and instilling patriotism, mixed in with random stuff about witches. I've learned a hell of a lot more from my own research of history than i ever could at school, a lot more interesting too.
+mre1995 or gross simplifications that mean nothing. For example we were taught the Nazis killed millions of civilians. But we never were taught how they came to power. So every American just thinks Hitler was some mad scientist that brain washed people with voodoo. They don't understand the backdrop of the interwar period and the pent up patriotism as well as the humiliation placed on them. The use of Ethic Germans as a pretence for invasion. The important stuff as to the how, to keep it from happening again. Instead it's just Germans are bad and started two wars for no reason.
You guys seem to have done a little more of these videos with b-roll and a good conversation in the background but your viewers as well as myself love them. This conversation is one I'm sure we can all connect to. Please continue to do These kind of things. (And maybe mention the special request by yours truly)
Neebs, it makes me warm in my heart when you mention that self defence is as mussh about respect as it is about the defence itself. As I´m a martial artist, too, I try to educate the most people I can about this, tot let more people know how important respect is.
Teachers actually don't get paid as badly as you think in a lot of places. OBviously if you're in a small town somewhere in a more republican state, then yes you won't make as much. However a teacher in the Seattle area actually does make a decent, more than enough type of salary: Say 50-70K a year. But I also do think anyone with a masters degree who is responsible for our future should be paid like a god damn doctor. I mean shit, I dropped out of high school and I make 70K a year. That just ain't right.
Shit most of the stuff I'm listening to in this in my mine I was thinking "Yeah why the fuck is all this dumb ass pointless shit being taught in schools because in school I totally need to learn English class 6 different times during school I want to do construction so school makes me take French,Spanish,Chinese, or sign language because it's very important for me to speak a foreign language to do construction and yes I am already taking the classes to do it
A good teacher is the key or at least have teachers willing to ask kids how they're struggling or what they can do to help make learning easier or more fun. Reading from a textbook does not teach kids anything, they can also just read.
True. I was homeschooled, and I was in charge of my own studies because I'm a read-to-learn student, which means I require zero input from a teacher. I had a sister who needed constant attention because she's a kinesthetic learner, and needs hands on experiences to get the information across. Handling us both the same way would have been a disaster.
omg i love when yall talk about about seroise topics and put a funny twist on them, i 15 and i was kicked out of every school and honestly i do most of my learning from yalls videos .
+Gabriel Sevilla youve clearly only taken a class(es) creating art and have never taken a collegiate level art appreciaition class there is more to art than you will ever even know the intracacies of breaking social bounds and furthuring society to progress what it has to today should be treated with the utmost respect as it is the reason we are where we are. art is defiance and without defiance there is conformity and with conformity there is no progress therefore art=progress and should be respected as such.
You guys are 100% right. Every school day should start with some kind of creative learning (e.g. Arts & crafts, music, &c.) in order to get the brain started.
I love this channel so much man I don't really watch the game plays unless their for certain guns but the topics you guys bring is like visual radio friends get together disccussing things so I literally put on a video lay down lay the phone down and listen it awesome plus you guys share very good information and I appreciate it
I'm glad you've touched base in this important topic. i felt like when i went through high school, i was either to baked to do anything or i just didn't care. As you said with the art program I one-hundred percent agree with you, art was the only thing i was exited for, but my teacher sucked and said i was bad at art. the point i guess I'm getting at is that, i wish teachers would take extra time to care for the students because one day we will be in their position.
Hey Neebs, a lot of the points you brought up in the vid are actually being put into place! We have Health all 3 years of middle school, art, P.E. Band etc
I love these kind of life advice videos, just like the how to be happy video and how to make friends. some of the things are really obvious but for me I need to hear things from someone else even if they are obvious. Keep up the life advice videos :P They are great
So interesting to hear you guys talk about this kind of stuff! Now days I also want to learn about random stuff, especially history. My gf is sick of me telling her random facts and stuff I'll learn from the internet, mostly reddit, but I'll keep talking damit! Love your show, keep it coming!
Hi Neebs, i just got back from visiting a school, where i talked about alcohol, drugs, peerpressure, selfesteem, dealing with problems, to name a few things. Sadly there is no real class on that stuff. I do this as often as i can, between 100 and 200 classes each year, but i don't get paid for it. I do it because i think it is important and lucky for me there is now a new law here that says every school should have some form of alc./drug prevention. Even with this new law it is very hard to get into schools. Too cheap to cover traveling expences, but they gladly pay some rapper big moneys to come to their school and teach the children all about money and how to pimp a ho. It's a funny world we live in. Love these kinds of videos, guys!
I completely agree with everything you guys have said. I am actually in band and in jazz band and music has helped me to learn a lot in school, but now we have a new principal who doesn't allow cell phones and it has really been causing troubles with students.
hey guys! really love your videos. When you guys just talk I enjoy listening to y'all. Very real and down to earth. I respect that. Keep doing what you do! Game on!
Hey guys, I just wanted to say I love your videos and thanks for this one. It inspired me to use the topic for a school project I presented today. My entire class (including the teacher) loved it. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!
Cool video Professor Nee6s! As far as "tropical fish", African Cichlids are mouth Brooders, which mean the female holds the eggs in her mouth after fertilization, and until the baby fish (fry) are big enough to survive on their own. Cichlids from Lake Malawi are very hardy, very colorful (many people mistake them for saltwater fish) and they breed easily in aquariums. You should get some! Watching a fish tank has been proven to be very relaxing.
Neebs, I am huge on self defense, and when listening to what you were saying about respect, I couldn't help but say "hell yeah!" out loud. You hit the nail right on the fucking head, good sir!
+Neebs Gaming, you guys are the best channel on TH-cam. I was hooked when I discovered BFFs, I subbed to this channel because I love Neebs' voice and persona, but I've been discovering your other projects and sketches from past and you guys are a huge inspiration. MASSIVE THANKS for uploading so frequently, and amazing commentary. The footage doesn't matter in videos like these that you've done in past, but I'd rather watch a TH-cam video than download itunes and subscribe to podcast or something. With that being said, if you guys offer your commentaries as direct downloads/soundcloud/bandcamp I'd download them all in a heartbeat. The content is so good, the community is great (amazing comments here; decent peepz) and you guys are grownups and imparting your wisdom and experiences, through the medium of gaming.... It's incredible. Please keep doing what you do!
I fuckin love you guys. I've recently taken to going back and playing videos like these and tips to be happy and such on my Bluetooth speaker at work while I'm cleaning a store overnight and it really sticks with me. You guys are really great and really funny and thank you for all the advice on how to be a better person
Hey guys, I'm a new viewer and subscriber: only been watching your videos for about a week now and boy have I got some words haha first of all, I love the content in your videos! All the entertaining stories and just debauchery is absolutely great hahaha but also you guys are helping me in the long run! this video as well as the "I'm a failure video" has taught me some things that I need to do to prepare myself for the REAL game of life, so for that my gratitude will forever be prevelant. I am 17 and college will be starting soon and your videos will and have helped me to get ready for life. Keep up the good work and you've got a fan for life!! -Hunter from Los Angeles, California!
I agree completely with virtually the entire video. I personally am wanting to become an entrepreneur and start my own business(es), and I can say with certainty that 95% of the "education" I got through grade school is completely useless to me for that kind of career. The only things from school I feel could potentially help a bit with owning a business is basic math, and my economics class. Nothing to help me manage finances, nothing to help with leadership, legal issues, organizing, nothing at all. College is a different story. I'm currently attending a technical college and I feel that the business management classes I'm taking are going to help me acquire a bit of knowledge that would definitely in the business world. The traits and skills of a leader can't just be gained through reading books or listening to lessons, but they definitely help. Much more so than grade school. I love this channel. 80% of your videos are incredibly funny and entertaining, and the other 20% are inspirational and educational while still managing to be funny.
In the small town schools there are usually Agriculture or Ag programs that teach the basics of welding, electricity, power tools, vehicles and how to repair them, and basic construction. The next semester or year you can choose if you want to take a class that just focuses on that area to better your skills. I also took a math class called math models, which most people think that it is the class for stupid kids, but I learned how to buy and pay taxes on a house, a car or cars, how to use and organize a checkbook, how to estimate salaries, be able to pay taxes, and tell what you need and what you don't need. For anybody still in high school I recommend taking these classes not only do you learn, but it comes in handy in the long run.
ive been sitting here playing bf4 for like 6 hours and i swear ive been just listening to you guys talk haha i dont know how but its making me play better i dont know if its just the way my brain works like maybe when im ONLY playing the game im too focused and it gets boring too quickly. i dunno. anyways, the topic of this video is something i talk about often and i agree with pretty much everything youve said. i dont really have much to add to the topic off the top of my head but just wanted to say, i really wish i could hang with you guys n shoot shit. been watching your channel for a while, mostly bff's and never knew anything about you guys. needless to say, keep the vids coming! great stuff
"Learning how to learn should be taught in school" THANK YOU ! Always told that. sadly it's still not in place here in France, but I surely will teach my children how to learn by being curious.
Student: Mr. Neebs you spelt your name with a 6
Neebs:YEAH CUZ THATS HOW MANY FIGURES I MAKE
Damn
you are smart and beautiful.
+Vexed Knight Tha was completely random. Could be a fake profile picture. And I don't see why you jumped so fast to saying she was smart, because of one simple comment and a picture. Lol
Cool Knight we still know your thirsty changing your name won't help 😂
Oh Children should be taught, Bills need to be paid but money isn't everything.
Plus one of the 'goals' of the channel was world peace when they started it.
leycra thats what I said a month ago
your right, no one here is beaing a butthole, we are actually doing a great job ag making new ideas
i never earned anything important at school but im glad i know that mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
***** I have no idea
I can tell you all about the quadratic formula but i had to figure the fuck out myself how to file my taxes.
Sam Zale mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
staticishock96 Plant cells have a cell wall and membrane while animal cells only have the membrane
+Sam Zale isn't this helpful
I've learned more from video games and movies than actual school, thats not a joke.
*that's*
Yep I kinda wish needs was my teacher
Neebs
For real, I learned English from tv, and to read (subtitles), and right now I've not even covered WW2 at school, what I know is from TV, video games and movies.
CappedWinner555 Really? You didn't learn the basics of English at school?
Couldn't agree with you guys more on these topics.
I hope everyone enjoys some of the recipes!
+Travis S - how many views did you get from Simon's link? lol
More than I deserve... lol
Is personal finance taught at anyone else's school? It is at mine.
When you guys here these commentaries does anyone else just picture the battlefield friends having these conversations over like, a campfire or something?
Yes definetely, just associate the voice with the character
yes
+ARESKILLA ZIMA I agree with you!
I read the first couple of words and said yes. absolutely
Neebs for President 2016
Yes. please neebs.
Way better than Trump and Hillary.
Jaydn W now for 2020
Jaydn W states do learning stuff I believe
Thedeadlygamer 2021?
You guys should seriously do half hour podcasts, that would be pretty sick.
+Neebs Gaming nice!
***** Thanks!
+Neebs Gaming I would tune into that...
+Neebs Gaming Listen to archer he's a genius.
+NeebsGaming I would love to see it!
I just want to say, Neebs, you are probably one of the largest role models a person could have, you strive to be better and to make people happy, you don't put others down, you pick them up, and so I want to thank you for being you
neebs for president
yeah Neebs for president 2020 because an cheeto is running our country

Me: "Indoctrination and compliance."
Enough said.
Time to send this into my school : )

Huge thank you to all of you, keep the amazing work up.
the American school system is horribly outdated and no where near as good as it once was.
+Duchess the european one too
+Jesus Fucking Christ noooo
+Duchess i am from greece and one thing i have to tell about the school system
IS FUCKED ON THE FINANCIAL PART
-no free books the first 3 or 4 weeks
-too many bad teachers and bad school buildings
-the things they teach are from another planet(the first time i take the university exams i pass in the mathimatics university in athens, for reasson,i give the exams again and manage to pass in the greek militery air force and i continue the math university because they give me this choice. As soldiers we send to learn more thing in the camps of U.N.(united nasion). The thing that blow me mind is the kids in all the other countrys on europe do in they 17-18 what we did in 15-16
If any one know what complex maths, quantom basic chemistry theory ,LC electrics system and motion of liquid physics is
then you can feel me pain
But with Neebs and company you actually want to listen, so i want to say thanks guys for being awesome and you got some valid points, i myself was wondering how to do my taxes right when i left school.
i remember being told i wont always have a calculator available. i cant remember the last time i didn't have 3 of them available in some way.
My last math class, the prof brought extras for the test because they were mandatory 😂😂
"Education is what remains after what one has forgotten what one has learned in school."
-Albert Einstein
12:00 Neebs " I just learned this in second period, BOOM"
All of the classes you talked about in this video are at my high school (Plainview-Elgin-Millville). My first semester this year was personal finance class, personal health and nutrition, American politics, and raceway engineering(which is basically like a learn to build a full car class but you still learn basic maintenance) and this semester I am taking economics, media studies, and vehicle maintenance. My sophomore year I took a computer applications and graphic design class with an audio and cad course. The teachers are awesome and the way I feel I learn better is either when we get involved with what we are learning or if they make it fun with jokes that you remember with the material in it. Love you guys' videos.
this video, one hell of a step forward to world peace! thanks
You guys should run for presidency, much better choice than what us already has now
That's what America needs, A team pf presidents, One bc the president has way tlo mich power including over the senate (funny how some think Canada's PM is too powerful but he never comes close to as mich power) then a team od presidents should improve each of the Ps sleep so much.
Creature Of Habit r
Little late, but great video guys. It's rare to see channels like these acknowledge their fan base is young and having smart conversations like that.
You should do more of that. Thanks Appsro for plugging in crash course.
Great use of your fame, keep going
I have learned more out of high school then I ever did when I was in high school. Common Core is fucked
I love how they're forcing me to do philosophy even though the majority of people hate philosophy. When was the last time someone hired a guy who had a major in Philosophy.
+DrScaphandre When i looked into philosophy the only career you get out of it is teaching philosophy apparently.
mre1995 Thanks academia for making me waste my money on a useless class.
DrScaphandre Yeah it's useful for life, just not so much for a career
mre1995 It's not even useful for life.
"Professor Neebs, you spelled your name with a 6!" XDDDD
This video is the most smartest video ever

TH-cam needs more of theses videos this is what people should be watching it has humor and information and entertainment-love the video neebs keep it up
"I don't know how to balance my checkbook!"
1. Do people even write personal checks anymore?
2. Add. Subtract. It's that simple.
Premium aged TH-camrs seem to be underappreciated.
i wish i was in this conversation so i could contribute every second
have this conversation with your family and peers then!
smaloney100 I did but they dont care
I am always finding myself agreeing with you guys probably the best channel on TH-cam for gamers in a group of people down to earth
I guess this is the only TH-cam channel that gives you life advice paired with Battlefield footage. What a world we live in.
Jeez I think you needed a compensater on that MG4 there Neebs haha
+Lucas Bowen Or Thick?
Thats thick's gameplay
The MG4 is broke. No long range accuracy at all. The fact that a prone LMG on a bipod, who shoots first, gets out shot by a AR, shows how bust LMGs are in Battlefield. Dice fucks up more every week.
SvenTviking Actually thick "cancelled" the deploying of his bipod alot this video. He lays down but moves a little right after which detracts the bipod again. Thats why he missed so much and got outgunned by the AR
+ronnie ssebaggala ok sorry
You guys hit the nail on the head. Best advice ever for me as I am starting my freshman year. Thanks so much Neebs and co.
Life
French fries: .50 cents
Apple: 5 dollars
thats why we are fat people (or most people)
Mind blown
Where do you see an apple for $5??
I feel like we should find actual numbers first
+jorge almaraz Apples are $5 what are they made by Apple? lol
+jorge almaraz Next time you're in a grocery store, go to the produce section, look for a bag of HONEYCRISP apples, and just ask the clerk to tell you how much the bag would be then do the math to find out how many orders of fries you could get with that. You will start to smell smoke as your brain tries to figure out the why.
my dad actually sat down and watched this with me and said thank Christ I'm not the only one.
Agreed.
I don't know about the states, but here in India I'm going through my last year of high school and its hard. I frequently refer to MIT ocw and feel like I already know this. so take it how you will but maybe you need to change schools (or country)
Raghav Jindal this is all about the us education system, since neebs gaming lives in the us
I'm on my senior year in high school and have a full schedule of AP/ IB classes and its pretty challenging :)
Using audio in the car could be usefull :)
I spend almost 2 hours a day going to/from work and I've thought about getting my spanish back in shape.
Only downside... then I would have to stop listening to Neebsylvania in the car :D dont need to see you guys building stuff, just listening to you messing around always makes my day :D
You guys are awesome!
So instead of basically setting 4 students on a slightly different learning path they decided to completely change the career path of 11 students because as there was no class that year, there was not that class the next year which is year 11 and it is when you choose your classes for both year 11 and 12
I'm 15 and in my school we learn to code with java and html and its compulsory
This is absolutely the truth about life, I love neebs gaming and am glad to have found this channel.
Do they have a podcast. I'm sure it would be good
You were right
They do

( cuz we don't call our pupils graders so I have no idea who's who in high school)
The Education system and classes in America is different from ours! Can't wait to be taught by neebs!
Btw great battlefield vid.
8th graders are 13-14 years old from my own estimate of age range. That sounds creepy as heck... well, anyway hope that helped.
+Guitars 77 thanks for telling me 👍
Guitars77 yeah your right 12-14 maybe 15
It teaches us how to deal with money, and how important it is to have good credit.
most of those things are in my school. is finlands teaching extra good or is it in usa extra bad
+Nikke 2800 No Finland is actually being quite revolutionary when it comes to education, be proud of your country for common sense.
Finland does have pretty good schools.
This was really something that makes me think about what i am learning in school today.
I feel like sign language should be taught in schools
Running doom true
You guys seem to have done a little more of these videos with b-roll and a good conversation in the background but your viewers as well as myself love them. This conversation is one I'm sure we can all connect to. Please continue to do These kind of things. (And maybe mention the special request by yours truly)
The shit taught in the public school system is a fuckin joke these days. #NeebsForPresident
+JMG2930 No, it's the people who are the fucking joke.
+Theorem Alpha cost of living in seattle is very high though. that money wont go very far.

I could listen to you guys talk on this subject for hours. Good video gentlemen.
Neebs,
You should do a video on gun control/regulations or UASs/drones, i'm curious what your opinion is.
Thanks,
Mat
I fluffing love you guys! I totally agree with you guys. I was not expecting this from the video.
Shit most of the stuff I'm listening to in this in my mine I was thinking "Yeah why the fuck is all this dumb ass pointless shit being taught in schools because in school I totally need to learn English class 6 different times during school I want to do construction so school makes me take French,Spanish,Chinese, or sign language because it's very important for me to speak a foreign language to do construction and yes I am already taking the classes to do it
you should aim higher than construction. just saying.
+Lechuga Loko someone has to build the shcool though.
Two words: work visas.

Art needs to be removed and they need to create the class how to adult, or adulting 101. Taxes, finances, 401k, etc.
Don't remove art class. Art is an important part of human history.
Asortagamerguy It doesn't benefit people. There is not a time that they need to know art while they work. In high school there is no reason for art.
fuck art
+VanillaChocolateJ I've learned more about art from the Internet or just by teaching myself, then I've learned from art class.
This video is yet another reason why Neebs has one of the best channels on TH-cam.
I don't like art or music so removing them is fine by me
You guys seem like you would be really fun to drink with and go into deep conversations about random shit. I love it
You guys are 100% right.
Neebs what has been said in this video has taught me more than school has, thanks my dude.
You hit the nail right on the fucking head, good sir!
how do you guys not have like 10 million subscribers. your funny, educational, respectful and entertaining??????????
Huge props for mentioning Crash Course!!
And keep doing what your doing I always have a good time listening to you guys talk about this stuff
This was really awesome, some very good thoughts and points on dedication today.
By far one of the most informative video. I actually learned a lot from it.
Thank u guys I showed this to my dad because his students have a hard time learning and this vid helped
I could listen to you guys talk about random topics every single day.
Bring these types of videos back!
For anybody still in high school I recommend taking these classes not only do you learn, but it comes in handy in the long run.
ive been sitting here playing bf4 for like 6 hours and i swear ive been just listening to you guys talk haha i dont know how but its making me play better i dont know if its just the way my brain works like maybe when im ONLY playing the game im too focused and it gets boring too quickly. i dunno. anyways, the topic of this video is something i talk about often and i agree with pretty much everything youve said. i dont really have much to add to the topic off the top of my head but just wanted to say, i really wish i could hang with you guys n shoot shit. been watching your channel for a while, mostly bff's and never knew anything about you guys. needless to say, keep the vids coming! great stuff
You guys are geniuses. It sounds like some pretty good stuff
I love these videos. I'm 40 years old and teach welding and fabrication at a college and you guys are right on the money.
"Learning how to learn should be taught in school" THANK YOU ! Always told that. sadly it's still not in place here in France, but I surely will teach my children how to learn by being curious.
