Great comparison video! The left hydro pedal on the Branson would be a super easy mod to bring them closer together...a little more work to bring them lower but still doable. Interesting that the rep stated that Kukje is the parent company of TYM. She said "Let's go Branson" but we really know what she meant!!

I just wanted to chime in on Branson tractors. I've had a Branson 4520r since 2016. Gear drive, 12 forward/reverse. Great tractor. It is heavy, lift capacity is decent, over 2k, and it is super reliable. 1700 hrs and no signs of slowing down. Pulls a heavy 72 bush hog all day in the summer heat, has pulled hundreds of cords of logs and graded many gravel driveways. And hundreds of other uses.
Bransons of this size have one of, if not the tightest turning radius of any tractor. Add the cutting brakes and it will impress you. I have mine setup as wide as possible, with the largest r4 tires I can fit and it out turns smaller tractors. A major plus. As is the low mount fuel tank, over 3k lbs of 3 point lift capacity, the list of pros over the competition go on and on..

Good to see Branson being represented. I’ve had my 3515H for just under a year in my company. It’s plowed snow all over town, done plenty of gravel driveways, mulch deliveries, property cleanups and lifted some ridiculously heavy loads without a single hiccup. As an aside, I prefer the wider pedal spacing. When maneuvering in tight quarters, I don’t find myself hitting the wrong pedal by accident and can do forward/reverse smoothly and effortlessly. I’ve also learned to be completely comfortable with the forward mounted loader control.

The word on the street is that those Kukje engines are modeled after old Cummins engines, and are the most simple engines to work on you can get in any compact tractor. Specifically, the emissions controls/engine controls are stone age simple and can be dealt with at home unlike other brands.

My 2006 Kubota L3130 is a big frame tractor for its horsepower. The rear tires are 16.9 x 24. It has the LA 723 loader. We regularly lift, stack, and move round bales with it. I made a counter weight for the 3 point hitch out of a 55 gallon drum full of concrete. Works well.

I have the same tractor I got last summer and have about 50 hours on it and absolutely love it.
Came with 3rd function and 2 rear remotes. I put a land pride grapple on the front and I am amazed at the amount of stuff I can pick up with the loader.
I also put a front end snowblower running off the mid-pto on it and it works great! Snowblower is made by bercomac and was very simple to install. Just have to bolt on 2 mounting plates to pre-existing holes on the tractor then everything else is quick release pin on.
Zero problems and starts up perfect even on the coldest days of the winter so far!
Also used the factory remotes for hydraulic top and tilt cylinders.
The heat and A/C on the cab is great as well!
Only thing I wish they made was a belly mower to keep my large field mowed a little nicer. Obviously can do rear mower but would be nice to be able to have it underneath but not too many tractor this size even have mid-pto let alone a mower deck for it.

Greetings Tim! As always great video and information. FYI - I owned a Branson 2400h before I purchased the 1023E I'm currently using and didn't have any major issues with the tractor. Kukje builds a fairly decent machine...albeit minus some of the bells and whistles Deere and Kubota have on their equipment. My complaint with Branson was the dealer network and individual dealer policies regarding working on tractors that were not purchased at their dealership. We lived in Central FL at the time I purchased the 2400h from a dealership near Rome GA., knowing we were soon retiring to Knoxville TN. My issue came to light when the tractor had an intermittent problem with the starter circuit and the various "safety" interlock switches preventing it from starting. The closest dealer to us (Spring City TN.) would not work on it because I did not buy it from them. I called Branson and was told that's permissible within their dealer network. That's all it took to convince me to "upgrade" and go green. However, Branson, Bad Boy, TYM and any other brands that Kukje builds for are decent, entry-level machines for the budget minded tractor buyer.

Now i have owned John Deere's - Mahindra's in the past. I opted to go with Branson because you can't beet the packaged deal i got from my East Dallas Dealership. This has been said before, but service, parts availability, and dealer support should be at the top of the list when considering any purchase like this. My own experience with a Branson 3515R that my father owned was terrible. Hard start/no start conditions constantly recurring, front axle leak that never was resolved, a steering valve that occasionally wouldn't steer without dang near a full rotation, and a bucket curl leakdown situation that was deemed "normal" by the technician sent to inspect it. A full load of manure would need to be curled again every several seconds while tranporting it to prevent it from dumping some out. All this on a 1 year old tractor with 60 hours on it.
Dealer support was non-existent, the shortest amount of time the tractor was down while waiting for repair was a month, sitting at the "dealer". As I was taking care of my father in his later years, it was a constant source of a PITA to add that to my growing list of responsibilities. Once my father passed on, that tractor was sold at a steep discount just to get it to sell. Even in a relatively hot market at the time, it seemed nobody in the area wanted to deal with that brand of tractor, probably due to the poor dealer reputation.
The lesson is, make sure you take into account all the variables involved in purchasing any piece of equipment, because a tractor that's cheap up front may not be cheaper in the long term (or even the near term!). I wish I had been aware of my father's impending tractor purchase plans, I would have steered him towards a used Deere instead of a new off-brand machine for similar prices.

Branson did have some growth/ teething issues at one time. I bought a 3725 12 speed open cab 3 years ago. Not one problem. I much prefer the larger stronger frame on the Bransons compared to every other brand at the same hp. Your dealer should have replaced the loader hydraulic spool valve. Branson would have covered the repair, you just had a really crappy dealer. Car dealers are the same, a good dealer fixes stuff, a crappy dealer says it's normal until the warranty is over, then they want to charge you.

Granted, the 2515 is likely the best tractor currently available, with its outstanding performance. One crucial aspect to highlight is its impressive 68.5 lb-ft of torque. Particularly when using the lower gear, even though work might be slower, it proves to be an exceptionally capable beast.

    • @rydplrs71
      @rydplrs71 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@valleytractorservices9310 so that’s why tractor trailers have cat engines instead of a duramax? Yes a duramax can move the 100,000 lb load, up to about 15 mph, to hit 70 you need the big torque that’s not geared down. Big torque will keep a big mower running.
The simple fact is big torque can do big work without big hp. Big hp cannot do big work without torque. An example of that is an f1 car. Hundred’s of hp, but very easy to stall when you let off the clutch.
“If you just want to go fast and hit 140 mph, then horsepower would be more effective for you. However, if you want a strong car that can pull boulders and take off quickly, a high torque might be more important to you. In short, torque makes your vehicle quick. Horsepower makes it quick”

With a simple turn up, guys are bringing them to 30ish HP quite nicely. They are the hidden gem. Most the other 24hp tractors are smaller displacements turned UP.

Branson 2515h at $24,900 MSRP! Wow, I bought my 2515h mid-2021 and MSRP was $17,999. Definitely, Let's Go Branson.
The tractor is a little tank. Zero issues (70 hrs), almost lifts too much. My last tractor was a Kubota L2501 which was also a good tractor but could be hard to keep running cool in Florida heat. Always had to keep an eye on the 'Bota temp gauge and be meticulous with the radiator screen. The Branson doesn't care about heat or a clean radiator screen near as much.

I've been following your channel for years and I really enjoy the fair way in which you evaluate the various tractors you feature. I would like to offer one slight correction, you stated that cab tractors have to have the joystick on the fender. That's not completely accurate. I have a cab model Yanmar YT359C and the joystick is on the side console, not the fender.
Keep up the good work Tim and may God bless you and your family.

I could live with it. Parts availability and service is what counts. I'd like to see more 🇺🇸 made subcompact tractors. I'd like to see some videos done on like Toro Dingo type skidloaders. You can put a rototiller on them and shreaders among other things. They'll get into tighter places than a subcompact. I suppose they'll be slower. But it would be a fair trade off.
    Thanks and take care

The smart large frame, 25 HP tractor makers would be putting bigger engines in them detuned so as delivered they were 25 HP factory but if the customer say in another country..... Wanted to turn the injector pump up so they did a reliable 40 HP, then that would be easy to get the full potential of the machine. :0)
Maybe Tims Friends can start producing Turbo kits for these tractors that could well use the extra power?
