I like how many comments are complaining about the lackings of the phone. Its a $300+ phone, if you feel that its lacking feel free to buy the flagships for over $1500+. Otherwise I'd say the A35 is really a great price since it can do pretty much 80~90% of the things a flagship could do.
LOL...no kidding. I'm still using a2018 moto g7 power but looking at the A35 as a replacement only because the battery is swelling in the Moto. I'm nowhere near a power user on mobile so the A35 should suffice for another 6+ years....lol. Down to $324 at Best Buy (sale)

I recommended this to my mother to replace her old s7 because she doesn't want to spend so much money on a phone. No problems and everything works fine. It was easy to transfer old files/pictures to the new phone with that Samsung app
I recently purchased one while traveling in Spain. My original cell phone messed up, it almost burned on the outlet. I don't regret buying it. I like it. Especially the sound quality is awesome.
After having so much trouble with my Redmi Note 10 not working on 4G after an Android system update, then a faulty SIM card, I decided to also sign up for a special deal Vodafone-Australia had a few weeks ago on the Samsung A35. We each ordered one, which were only going to cost us an extra $5 per month for 24 mths on top of our existing SIM plans (our only means of accessing the Internet from where we live), saving us over $AUD420 on each phone! With less than half the money I saved, I kitted it out with a QuadLock mag-lock protective case, along with several different mag-lock mounts! 😄😄 I don't mind at all that the A35 lacks Ai, but wireless-charging may have proved useful! 🤔 So glad our colour-choice is only between Amazing Ice-blue (my brother's phone), & Amazing Navy (a very dark blue), which I preferred! Overall I absolutely love my Samsung A35!

Budget phones these days are quite good in several areas. Many people think that is good enough. But for me it takes some getting used to because I switched from the S24 ultra to the A55 financially. I am lucky that I am not attending a festival or filming a concert this year, so I would rather have an S24 ultra because of the much better zoom and stability and the like. The cameras on midrange phones are normal but not wow, there is still room for improvement. I am otherwise satisfied with the A55, the fingerscan may be the same as the S23/S24. Battery life is good, no problems with overheating. Call with speaker works well. But it is still a budget phone, so don't expect the best cameras, that is always the biggest drawback. I like the screen on the A55 and the brightness in the sun. If you turn on the automatic brightness, the screen is clearly visible in the sun, but your battery life decreases a lot faster.
I just got this phone to replace a galaxy s10 and it's better in almost every way except 1000 nits vs 1200 nits. When making calls it sounds good, nice 120hz screen, good 5000 mah battery, phone speed is quick and responsive. I'm enjoying the new android 14 smooth animations, the s10 stopped being supported at android 12.
I just got the last update on my A52 5G. I was looking to upgrade to this. Genshin Impact was very choppy on it. Its nice to see this can handle the game.
High on my list to buy! Glad you did the review. Now a question for you Chris. If you did not do all these reviews and was a normal blight like the rest of use... which phone would you slip your SIM into for a few years? 🤔
I might buy this. I have an S10e, and while it is only about 5 or so years old, I seem to have battery issues and I think the charging port is getting loose. I think if I bought another S10e, it would be around the same price, but I'd rather have something newer and that will get that support since the S10e's support is done I believe. I think it was supported up to Android 12. Maybe I won't impulse buy tonight at 1 in the morning, but if someone manages to repsond to this comment with any smartphone advice, I'll consider it. I don't need the top teir, I have enjoyed my flagship and these mid range phones seem to be getting better.
I'm looking for a new phone after my 10e too! It's a shame they don't have an E-model for the new ones. Mine works well but I don't like that the OS is no longer supported. I think this phone suits all my needs though. Did you end up buying this one?
Just bought this phone for my young brother in law. Had time to play with it VSes my s22 ultra and my wifes s24 ultra. The s22 U and s24U are about the same on day to day use. The a35 vses both of them feels a little cheaper and much lighter. The screen doesnt get as bright but no one uses a phone at max brightness. The speakers arent as full and detailed on the a35 and the vibration motors feel weaker and cheaper ie during texts, pressing home buttons etc. All that said, if I lost my phone and needed one to get me by for a year, would I get the a35? Heck yeah!

The only negative is it hates the spotify app, but I just use the web page version on it and it's fine. The sound quality of the speakers is really good too.
P.S. the Samsung flip 6 small screen is annoyingly useless after the main screen fails... As it only supports certain apps and functions fully. Well I got it already a few weeks ago and got it as a Replacement for My A33 and I can feel the Difference. The only thing that is better on the A33 is the screen, other than that it is a definitive Upgrade especially in the Camera Department.
@@thomasromano9239 It is Important to remember that We are talking about a Samsung Screen and they are Not Colour Accurate in general. So the A35 has a Very good screen as a whole.
Overall, the A35 has been a great phone for me these past couple of months. While it may not have all the top-of-the-line features of the S23 Ultra, this device has really impressed me with its performance and capabilities. The display looks fantastic, with vibrant colors and good clarity. The battery life has been excellent - I'm easily making it through a full day of use without needing to recharge. And the camera system, while not the absolute best, still takes really nice photos that I'm happy with. Most importantly, the A35 just feels good to use day-to-day. It's fast and responsive, with no noticeable lag or slowdowns. The build quality is solid, and I appreciate the added protection of the screen protector and case I have on it. Sure, there are a couple small things I miss from the S23 Ultra. But overall, the A35 has proven to be a really reliable and satisfying phone. I'm glad I made the switch and I'm confident this will continue to be a great daily driver for me going forward.
Coming from Samsung flagships to Moto (costs money etc), quite keen on having a gander at this as a halfway house and get back into the mother samsung garden... So to speak , Cheers love ya mackem b'stad
Anything that isn’t a flagship or handed out for free by carriers isn’t considered budget? Is the economy so bad that we have an even lower tier that is now named budget?!
The phone is very hot when gaming, and the only solution I find is to drop 120hz to 60hz. The reason is that when running a game, the phone is constantly at 120hz instead of alternating between 60 and 120 in adaptive mode. I wonder if there's a way to force the phone to run games at 60hz.
@Pax-qo6xr Wow, it just works perfectly. First time using a Samsung phone, I must say all these built in features are just so good (coming from a Pixel phone). Yes battery is good. On Mild usage I get about a day and a half of battery from 85 percent to 15 percent. On a full charge I can get uo to two days
@@marionclaudio2871 thank you
Is the phone lightweight?
@@azidasabri576 its suprisingly pretty heavy considering the phones backplate is glass and plastic
sd card coming from the s10+ def makes this appealing bc I have buds 2 pro and watch 4 classic
What about the camara zoom? Can you take clear pictures of something that's idk... 15 meters away?
I plan to buy this smartphone tomorrow
Bought it?
How was your gaming experience? Does it get hot, or is there a drop frame?
Well I got it already a few weeks ago and got it as a Replacement for My A33
and I can feel the Difference. The only thing that is better on the A33 is the screen,
other than that it is a definitive Upgrade especially in the Camera Department.
How is the A33 screen better? From the tech specs on gsm arena the A35 seems to have a better screen.
@thomasromano9239
It has more PPI and it's more vibrant than the 35
@@ivonikolov8709 True, but it's only by a few more. Also, high vibrancy can also mean less color accuracy.
@@thomasromano9239
It is Important to remember that We are talking about a Samsung Screen and they are Not Colour Accurate in general.
So the A35 has a Very good screen as a whole.
Looks fantastic to me, especially for the price. Cheers ❤
Thank you Uncle Tech spurt For reviewing The Samsung A35 Pretty Solid Phone❤
Mind sharing the wallpaper please.
I loved it so much I bought two, one as a spare phone, got both from ebay great deals on there.
I'm glad I made the switch and I'm confident this will continue to be a great daily driver for me going forward.
don't like the camera though
thanks chat gpt lol
You switched from S23 Ultra to A35?
@@adampavella1225 long story lol didn't want to though.. miss it
Samsung makes its own versions of Google's app. You can uninstall or disable most of the Samsung apps if you don't want them
I love those wallpapers, where to find em?
Coming from Samsung flagships to Moto (costs money etc), quite keen on having a gander at this as a halfway house and get back into the mother samsung garden... So to speak , Cheers love ya mackem b'stad
It's a good phone. I feel like I bought a quality product. No complaints. Can't go wrong with a Samsung.
May I please ask where do you get your cool anime wallpapers?
Samsung a 35 for life dawg
I can hardly wait!
The bixby support should be added for chat gpt
we need a universal assistant companies should colab but every company has its own assistant
where does he get his wallpapers? they are always so fire
Just got one last week. ❤️
This is mid range and not budget. It costs $550 where I live.
Anything that isn’t a flagship or handed out for free by carriers isn’t considered budget?
Is the economy so bad that we have an even lower tier that is now named budget?!
Same lol anywhere from $550 - $750 here for this, ordered mine last week see if it holds up as stated
can you review the Galaxy A25
Thumbnail showing Bridget
There's no way that's Bridget in a phone review is it?
Video proceeds to show a Gio wallpaper
This man is cultured
Informative and entertaining.
Third party apps don't always work well so it's really great to have official ways to do this. Been enjoying the phone and now even more. Thank you so much.
love your channel, I'm doing the cheers with you every time 🤣
How would you use an external microphone?
I picked up an A35 on sale for Prime Day. I can't wait to have an android again.
What about the pricing of a35 while you're purchasing?
Do you know when the distortion will be fixed in the camera a53
@Tech Spurt from where do you get these cool anime wallpapers ??
Please review the Samsund A25 5G
I absolutely love your humor😂
The bezels aren't as annoying as the round corners.
