Cory how fast would you recommend driving down that hill in the rain? Do you use your engine brakes down hill in the rain or just stabbing method with no jacks

Love the video but you should show the gages a lot more because when looking at the video, despite your comments, we don’t really know what’s happening.
For exemple, you hit the brake for 3 seconds, sure but to slow down by how much ? What is your engine rpm ? Gear ? Speed ?
All of that would be really useful :)

It's not the gradient that's going to kill you -- it's the length.

Do you put it in manual mode or leave it in auto when going down hill

I know this is a year later but What speed did you start the descent at?

I know this sounds stupid but I drive 285 into Denver with 5-7 percent grades and I drive a KW990 with the x15 Cummins 12 speed auto and when I use the max jake if I need to drop a little more I use my engine fan to drop some rpms

That's what i want to know too...Are you just leaving it in econ mode or are you pushing it in manual/gear hold??

With a population of LESS THAN 1000 most would not call Green River a "big city" LOL!!!
