Mr. Cory I also wanted to let you know, my dad is 95 yrs young now & started his driving career out of Salt Lake with Pride Transport in 1980!!! We live in MO so he has been all over the US in his career as he drove into his 70's. He would still be driving & said he would enjoy driving the truck in this particular video:) If you are ever near Springfield MO along I-44 we would be so pleased to meet you. Drive safe!!

Is it true you can’t use your engine brakes while in the rain?

I wouldn't use them in the rain, you want to feel the road with your feet, pedals, etc.

I've seen what happens when fuel tankers roll over. It's not a pretty sight, a lot of people can die.

Interesting video. The darkness was not a problem. In fact, the other lights look neat. Thanks

I love using the engine brake... Does it burn more fuel than usual?

Wonderful video and lesson man 👍 in your opinion or experience would you agree that using the jake brake on a wintery decline is not the right way to safely decent a hill?

When it get bad, chains are required, otherwise you have to wait for the plows to come through.

@Cory Draper: Have you ever seen a truck driver use one of those runaway truck ramps before? Ones like in this video? ----th-cam.com/video/jk6mvUqqQ6E/w-d-xo.html I've seen them along the highways here in Tennessee.
