I suddenly remembered that Zero model kit I had as a child where it comes with the core body and you snap on the parts to it. While this kit does not have an inner frame or any internal detail of sorts, this still feels like my childhood came back to me looking better than ever.
Ooh... that's a really sweet looking Zero kit!! Loved playing the Megaman X games back in my younger days, seeing that pixel art really brought back memories, can't believe they're from so long ago! Really nice details, articulation and accessories. And that huge beam saber, sooooo craaazy cool!
Esta genial la figura, muchos puntos de articulación para colocarlo como más me guste, las uniones de las articulaciones le dan una mayor movilidad, me encantó el detalle del mango hueco para ponerle efectos de luz, también me gustaría que tuviera ese detalle para el Z-buster, como lo menciona en el vídeo la union en el cabello sería mejor si fuera del mismo tono amarillo para hacerlo pasar como parte del mismo, afortunadamente al ser un kit armable nos da la libertad de "arreglar" esos detalles con un poco de pintura extra. I am having issues wit the ankle ball and socket, the ball for the joint does not fit into the socket that is part of the foot for me. It just pops out by its own pressure and only goes in like 1/4th of a MM until there is no more room. I have tried sanding down the ball, and it has done nothing so far. Any advice? I dont know how to sand down a concave surface for the socket, and the plastic is somewhat thin on it in the first place, so im not sure how much i could anyway.
@@RocketsBlastoise As a matter of fact, I did! Now, it's been a year, so I don't remember exactly how I did it, but, essentially, I stuck the ball joint into the socket, and then I coated the entire joint with hot glue from a hot glue gun. Once the glue cooled and sealed a bit, I just moved the foot around so that it wasn't totally stiff, but not so much that the glue didn't hold. Just be careful and it should work perfectly, as it did for me. You'll get a full posable Zero with feet that don't pop out of the ankles the second you look at them. Good luck!
I presume this version is from RockMan X3 ~ RockMan X6? Are there other releases of Zero from Kotobukiya like the RockMan Zero series? Is there an X1/X2 version of Zero with the rounded shoulders? Is there an X7 or X8 version? The thumbs up pose could be used to recreate the pose Zero does in the games when he beats an _Irregular_ (i.e. Maverick) boss. I could've sworn the Z-Saber was green and the upgraded to purple. 🤔
Yes, they've released the Megaman Zero version some years ago, before they even started the X series ironically. It's still available on many sites at a lower price than this one.
Does anyone know if there was ever an actual model kit of the "Ver Ke" April Fool's joke illustration Capcom did a few years ago? IIRC there was an action figure, but I'm less certain about a model kit. I want to say there was one, but I'm probably confusing it with one of the various Rockman X kits... -While we're on it, didn't Todd or someone already take a look at this kit? I could swear I've seen this before.- (EDIT: Must've been the Rockman X Max Armor kit. That one came with Zero's sword.)
It's green in gameplay but blue in game's arts. The developers of X series once said they wanted the saber to be blue but it would be hard to see in the gameplay so they changed it to green, but still blue in art images.

Kotobukiya kits have never been perfect, but for the ones I've built, they just come out looking fantastic.

The 1st blade was from X3-X5, the rounded light saber like blade is from X6, the last pointed blade is from X7-X8

That's quite a cool kit, even as someone who never latched on to Megaman, I think it's very impressive.
I just wish the hair wasn't hollow on the interior. But otherwise, an amazing kit.

Heh. I just ran into the exact same problem and was hoping to find a solution here. A real bummer to have this happen at the very end of the build.

Would this be a difficult model to build for a beginner? I really want this kit but I’m not sure if I’d be biting off more than I can chew...
their pretty simple if you have ever made a dragon ball model kit or bigginner grade model kit its no harder then those
Easier than most gundam pla model
The clear parts + color separation + applied decals give the kit a very nice look. Also good job on the panel line, very clean
1:03 the art on there is by Haruki Suetsugu who did the art for X4-X7
Found both of these at a goodwill this weekend.
