@6:20 If you're having problem with the feet staying on: try flipping the double ball (ankle) joint around. I am not personally having a problem with the feet staying on, and I think it's because the ankle joint has a specific orientation; there's a foot side and a leg side to that double ball joint, even though the part looks symmetrical. This is one of many things I don't like about Kotobukiya models; they occasionally make parts which appear symmetrical, but are just asymmetrical enough that the model doesn't fit together quite right if not properly oriented, and it can sometimes be difficult to discern the asymmetry of those parts.
2:16 the same thing happens to me with my figures, for example: my transformers studio series blurr couldn’t stand up straight and I used the accessories to kinda balance it and I ended up being able to pose it!
Thanks a lot, I’ve been searching for a scale comparison with other figures and non of the reviews I watched had it, it was the only thing I needed to finally buy one and have it in hand it’s awesome, thanks for this review
Just bought this model kit and I came here to thank you for the review, btw I believe the reason why the foot is falling off easily is because the ball joint has an specific orientation, it can be put backwards hence why the foot detached easily, you're supposed to put the ball with the longer "arm" in the foot socket while the one with the smaller arm goes to the rest of the leg, I originally put it backwards and the foot detached extremely easily, thanks to this review I put special attention while assembling the whole legs
Crazy, I actually had the first review of this figure out but I had no idea about the light trick, and promptly bought me some hiromi 316B lights. Thanks for the review!
I think the instructions said to insert the ball joint with the longer neck into the foot, swap it around and put the shorter neck and that joint holds in much better. It was pissing me off too but for some reason switching it held up amazing.
He's even more easier than those previous model kit X. I give them credit. Also the joints are new. Why they screwed here are the feet. The joints loves to pop off every time I pose mine. So what I did is I hot glued the joints.
@@janraymondjulian1273 not at all, the hole is inside the foot so you don't see a single scratch from outside. I did it to my model kit and it worked very well, no scratches. And i still can move the feet.
I loooove these kit figures, I used to have the D-Arts Zero and I must say this is so much better in terms of posability, not just that the D-Arts while gorgeous looking is way too fragile. Btw mine does stand up straight
Little tip from gundam building and shf android 21 problems. When the ball and socket is loose, cover the ball in super glue and let it dry. It makes a thicker ball
The problem is that the other part is not wide enough to wrap the ball, if you glue the ball, it'd get even worse. The best solution is to drill holes in 2 parts and connect them with a little metal stick.
@@123hyouretsuzan5 Now that is just dumb design. Guess I'll see when I get one. Koto kits are really iffy, if mechagaikotsu's white glint review is anything to go by.
@@lkmaxis2678 The price is a little high but not so well design. The only reason i buy this line is just because they sculpt characters better than Bandai and Sentinel.
It's really unfortunate that my neck piece snapped in half with this one. Beware of pulling the hair too hard which is how it snapped off. Glue and Tape didn't work to well (not enough surface area) and I'm thinking of getting Mounting Putty but I don't know how good it would work. I might be better off coughing up the money to get D-Arts Zero.

Lol, you just need to drill a hole in there and connect 2 part with a metal stick, glue makes your model kit can't move.
@@123hyouretsuzan5 I saw someone do that. However I'm not gonna damage an expensive kit. 😅 I guess I'll stick with glue.

Think you could give the X from the kotobokia model Kit one of Zero’s hands and make him do the scene from X5 where he is running with the saber
I don’t know if i got lucky or if they changed the models, but both my X and Zero don’t have the feet and arm issues, they’re completely solid

I have the same issue with my D Arts Zero. He looks amazing but one of the Saber hilts broke like 3 times now.
Theme Music for the reviewed figure is back! I prefer that to the same music for everyone
What i am saving foooooor?!!
This model kit,
dear lord X4's voice acting was horrendous lol, but maverick hunter x (x1 remake) did it perfectly
I need to start collecting these

They really should do a release of how Zero originally looked from Mega Man X1 before he was rebuilt in Mega Man X2.
When I first saw the prototype I instantly disliked the hair. But later on it grew on me. I'm really glad I picked him up.

Dstars you got any DBZ vegeta blue and Vegito Blue heads that you sale?
I'm totally getting Kotobukiya Zero. While I prefer the way D-Arts looks, this one seems way better in every other department.
I don’t know what I did with mine, but my model is able to stand normally on itself
